Scam

The email said I qualified, through AAA, for an emergency car kit. Gave permission for the $9.99. But then I read that none of the site’s emails or help support line is real. The fine print says it can take up to $90 or so basically whenever, and without permission or notice to me. I definitely didn’t sign up for that. How do I cancel? I emailed

an email claiming to be REI, answer few REI product questions and get an REI backpack just by paying $9.95 shipping fee... at the end after i gave the Bank Card, in very small prints said: YOU ENTRY/MONTHLY PLAN HAS BEEN CONFIRMED your order number is... blah blah number. FITGNX

I read all the terms and conditions provided in the email / landing page and even the confirmation page, and it seems clear that all I had to do was fill out the customer survey to receive the prize. No mention in any print that I was signing up or agreeing to anything else. Only after submitting payment was the wording switched to an Entry/Membership. Yet still never any wording to indicate they were even offering a membership. My question is will I even receive the prize (which clearly stated my payment was for the shipping) or is it an entire scam. I wrote them an email immediately and I will follow up on the outcome here
