I received 3 calls so far from gentleman claiming to be with the IRS. The gentleman stated that this was their last call to me. They requested that I call @ 572-337-8009 or I would be arrested. I did not return the call or provide any information.

A recording, calling from "I.R.S. - Internal Revenue Services" saying it is a final notice and that IRS is filing a lawsuit against you. it then requests you call back at this number - 904-452-1633.

The recording doesn't however identify what member of the household they are claiming to be suing. We have received this message 3 times as of March 14, 2016.

Supposed IRS rep with a thick foreign accent called to tell me this was my final notice. IRS is filing a lawsuit against me regarding my income tax returns from 2008-2014. They said they keep trying to reach me.

Typical IRS phone scam. Received a call that I owed $5,687 on back taxes. I was threatened with jail time if I did not pay immediately. They wanted the money sent via wire transfer or loaded onto a prepaid debit card.

On 3/7/16 and 3/11/16 I received a the same recorded message that the IRS was filing a law suite against me. They wanted me to call 509 368-7073. I called twice and both times I could not understand what the person was saying due to garbling background noise. The only thing I could hear was that he said that he was from the IRS. I told him I would call back later do to the bad connection.

phone call from 716.902.1565 calls multiple times a day and switches to a pre-recorded message stating I owe huge lump sum to the IRS and they will work me to get this right.

The recording leaves # of VMS, dropped calls, etc.

The recording is a gentleman who has a very bad accent and is hard to understand his English.

IRS message with a number to call, (1-800-829 -1040) informing me that I could be involved in a lawsuit regarding taxes due. Called yesterday, as well with same contact number. Today, the call came in at approximatelhy 4:05 PM.

(Monday, March 14, 2016). Because I knew that government entities do NOT contact by phone, I am reporting this phone call as a probable SCAM.

Received a phone call from a number in Maine alleging that the IRS had filed a lawsuit against me. I gave my name only and the caller said it was because of defraud and not paying my taxes from 2011-2014. I asked why I had not received anything in writing and he responded, "What do you want me to do?" I said my request is reasonable and he said that the IRS doesn't send notifications of lawsuits. I said my request was reasonable, and when I asked for his name he hung up on me.

At 3:30 pm, Monday March 7, received a recorded call from a woman stating that IRS will initiate arrest, asking to call 406 927 3835. Call received and recorded on answering machine. I am well aware of this scam and took no action.

Voice mail message from 253-777-4396 and 202-684-6811 stating that they have been trying to reach me, and this is their final notice that the IRS was filing a suit against me. The Internal Revenue Services was filing a suit and to call their number immediately in order to avoid further complications. Another message was received this past Friday.
