Person says that I've been chosen, because I've never filed for bankruptcy, pay my bills and taxes on time. I will receive $9,000 that I never have to pay back! How do you wish to receive this money? Do you want it deposited directly into your checking account, have a prepaid credit card send to you or (some other way that I didn't catch!)? They have called about 4 times now. They have my name, physical address, phone number and my email address. When I start asking questions, that's when he hangs up. Third call, I told him I'd take the prepaid card. He wanted to know my birthday. I told him that he should already know that and what other info was he going to need in order to send my this money? He hung up. Last call, sounded like a woman claiming to be supervisor with IRS, saying that immediate action would be taken, if I didn't contact her from new number.

They call and say they are the IRS and they are calling to collect money owed. They even leave a automated message if you dont answer saying call them back it's urgent. If you say it sounds like a scam they use profound language amd hang up on you. They have called me from different numbers. The other number had a 239 or 259 area code

All middle eastern man saying that they are the IRS, and they are attempting to collect a debt of income taxes from 2009 thru 2014 for the sum of $1700. If you're unwilling to pay them or give out your information, they will send over the police to have you arrested and placed in jail. At best I would have until tomorrow before the police would kick my door down. The telephone number is 1 (206) 693 - 4358. The man on the phone even went as far to say he has a badge and can give you a number, which he never gave.

I received a call on 9/27/16 at 3:51. They left a message and said they were the IRS and if I didn't respond immediately, a warrant would be issued for my arrest and a federal lawsuit filed against me. They left the above phone number for me to call. My phone showed the name Mike Cooper.

On Friday, September, 23, 2016 I received a call, and they left a voice mail, from someone saying they were with the IRS and that this was a final notice and that I was being sued by the IRS for back taxes and that I needed to call them at (512-813-7266) to get more information. I called the number, which took about 10 to 12 rings before they answered. A woman speaking with a foreign accent, answered and identify herself as the IRS. She told me that I was being sued for back taxes from 2010 to 2016 in the amount of $7,200.00 which included all late fees, penalties, and legal fees. She told me that they had sent out several maiings and even sent an agent to my home with no luck contacting me which was the reason for the call. Well, I asked the woman what address they had sent the mailings and the agent to? She gave me some off the wall address, which I never heard of much less lived at, seeing I have lived at my address for over 18 years. I told the woman that they had me confused with someone. I also told her that my taxes were done by a tax firm and that I was going to report this conversation to them and that they would be hearing from my firm. Well as the story goes I was telling a co-worker about this, who by the way was in the banking business prior to was with us. He asked if I had gotten their agent ID # that ALL IRS agents had an ID#. I told him they had not given me an ID# and that I did not know to ask for one. He then called them from our business phone, which even longer for someone to answer, saying that he had called earlier and he wanted their agent ID# and that was going to report this call to the local IRS office to follow up. They then hung up the phone. We tried to call back with no answer. Sorry to ramble, but just wanted to give as much information as I could.

Constantly calls from various numbers. Never leaves message or if they do, it is a threatening robo call saying you will go to jail if you don't call within 24 hours for tax fraud. My family and I always file taxes and are currently on the DO NOT CALL registry. These scams are beyond ridiculous and I demand an end to it. These people need to get a real job and stop stealing innocent people's identity!

A man calls me from this phone # 1-314-255-1365 . He is very hard to understand. Sounds to be a foreigner. He tells me that the IRS is needing my physical address to send me a certified letter. He says that if I fail to do so or fail to pay the amount the IRS says I owe then a warrant will be served for my arrest. I told him fine go ahead that the IRS has my address and that he doesn't need it and needs to stop calling my phone. He calls 2 and 3 times a day sometimes.

I received this call on 9/29/2016 6:55 pm from 202/235-6743. The Asian male started by saying Hello Jules how are you today? My name is Mr. Jeff Thompson and I am an IRS Agent. At this point I told him that I was reporting his phone number to the FBI. He interrupted me and stated: Go [censored] yourself and hung up the phone.

I supposedly have a tax fraud case against me. They want to help me. Was a recorded message but I called back and talked to a Mexican sounding man. He hung up on me when I said this is a scam and is on tv all the time warning people
Received phone call from this number with an automated message saying "this is the final attempt to contact you. The IRS is filing a lawsuit against you. Please contact us by calling 512-813-7297. Called number back, and they had me verify some of my information like name, birthday, and LAST 4 OF MY SOCIAL. Then they proceeded to tell me (from what I could understand because nobody could speak very good English) that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me for 4 reasons (again which I could only understand part of because of the lack of English). The one that I did understand was for failure to file. They told me that I owed the over $5,000 and they were suing me for $160,000 for tax fraud. They asked if I had a criminal lawyer to help with this matter and asked for a credit card number (which I did not give) and proceeded to tell me that if I don't comply, they were going to get local authorities involved and have me arrested. And that they were going to take my house and and all my assets. That's when I hung up because I don't own a house, I rent my current house!
