I have received multiple calls about this. Two this morning. I know that this is a scam but wanted to report it. My brother is a CPA and told me the IRS would never call you. They would send mail.

I've gotten two calls so far. They said that they were the IRS and were about to file charges against me. I asked a question and he said "don't interrupt me when I'm talking" and then hung up. They said I didn't file on time. Then they said I owed money. I never could get a straight answer from anyone.

I recd a call yesterday at 9:30 AM and spoke with a man that had a foreign accent. He stated that I was in debt with the IRS and I had to make pmt. I told him I just received a tax refund and I do not owe any money to the IRS.

He used abusive language and I hung on him.

Message was left on my phone answering service. Said there was a suit being filed against me for tax fraud and I had to call their number immediately to stop it. I did not respond.

I recd a call at 11:40 AM this morning from a recording -- a robot call that stated they were from the IRS and they have been trying to reach you and they were going to sue us. We did not respond and we did not take down the ph. no. We just hung up.

There were 3 missed calls with in 1 minute, when I picked up the 4th call I heard a recorded message. The message stated that this was a call from the IRS and this was their final attempt to get a hold of me regarding unpaid taxes. They left a phone number and instructed me to call back ASAP.

Today, May 12, 2016 I have received 2 voicemails from this phone number. The first one says that I'm being sued by the IRS and I need to call this number back immediately. The 2nd one says that it is my last chance to call them back before the lawsuit will be processed. I called them back at the number and the lady that answered had a foreign accent and said "thank you for calling the internal revenue service, this is officer Sarah, how can I help you. I simply told them, I know this is not the IRS and please stop calling me, the person on the other end of the line just hung up.

I recd a call at 9:45 AM this morning & spoke with a man who had an accent. He said this is the IRS and we need to get information because there was a debt to collect. He asked for my name but I did not give it to him. I asked him for his badge number -- he gave me a 99 something number and then he hung up.

I recd a call at 8:30 AM this morning and it was robot call. A woman stated this the IRS and we are about to file a lawsuit against you. Please call 202-704-4978. We did not respond.

I was called on Wednesday afternoon at 117pm, and a message was left on my home phone.

I was told that the IRS was suing me and that I needed to call 701-516-0850 immediately on the voicemail message.

I did not call this number. I googled the number on the internet; scam number from North Dakota.

I just wanted ScamPulse.com in Memphis to be aware of this scam claiming to be the IRS.

I recd this a call yesterday morning (11:00 AM) and last night at (5:00 PM) . A woman stated they are filing a lawsuit against us and if we wanted to know who is suing us, call the 573-292-6756 no. The second call was a robot call that was from the IRS. We did not return the calls.

Received a call from 206-451-5358 and the caller stated that they were with the IRS and I owed $1980.00 for unpaid taxes for the last 10 years. I told them to send me the paperwork and I would pay it. they refused and said they were going to take me to court.

rec'd a call from 719-775-9402 stating that i owe back taxes, it was left on my answering machine. no money given as i knew this was a scam but wanted to report it.
