Some one called me from a Washington number claiming to contact police saying there was fraud under my name or something like that it was a automated machine and they said i needed to kindly call them back so I called them and the man had a thick accent. I didn't give them any information. There was a lot of people in the back ground all saying the same thing. And the guy kept threatining me saying he knew i had a daughter and he would come to my house. Then he kept asking if I had a boyfriend. I searched the number up online and about 30 people experienced the same thing from the same number.

Message left on telephone from "IRS" twice saying they were filing a lawsuit if not contacted. First phone number was 571-365-5173 and second phone number was 260-386-7361. Did not return the calls.

IRS Scam, On 4/5/ 2016 at 5:02 PM, I received a message saying that I needed to call them (the "IRS") immediately, because I am under the process of being arrested.The caller ID said: Brain Bodg IS WA

On 4/6 11:37AM I received a message that said they (the "IRS") were calling to inform me that there was a warrant for my arrest, and I needed to return their call. Caller ID showed: Los Angels California.

They identified themselves as IRS and told my 83 year old mother that she owed 0ver 500.00 in taxes from 2015. She does not file taxes, her only income is SS. I called the number back and they answered as IRS and I asked if they were a legit IRS and the lady told my to get lost and hung up. The number is 504-275-5884.

Phone call about being accused of a Federal crime and need to appear in court. Offers case number and telephone number 716-200-1275.

When I called an Asian sounding person who was very hard to understand claimed I had called the IRS. I immediately disconnected.

Received several calls from a long distance number, finally answered it and it was someone claiming to be "Chester" from the IRS. I had heard about these scams so I didn't give him much opportunity to say much - told him not to call this number again (which he did, several hours later) and hung up. The number the call came from is 606-545-5035, Barbourville, KY

IRS Scam call, Lady called saying she was from the IRS and I needed to call her right away.

She did not leave a proper number to call her back, just 386-7362.

She was not threatening any action. I don't owe them any money.

I received a phone call today from (860) 309-8212 stating that the IRS was calling. I did not understand the caller's name because he had a heavy Indian accent and there was a lot of noise in the background. He told me that the phone call was my last notification for back taxes or I would be sued. I told him that I did not know of any back taxes owed and I hung up on him.

3 phone calls came to my mother in law (senior citizens yesterday) saying this is your final notice about the case of a lawsuit that has been filed against you by the internal revenue service the IRS please call this number immediately left this number on her machine. ***  she did not talk to them she let me call them back to see if I could figure it out I did not give any information to them cause when they answered they answered as hello one time, one time in a foreign language and asked who they were they hung up, called again they said a company name and I said I'm sorry I didn't hear you he said the irs you know in Washington dc what is your name now I hung up . then found out they were trying to get money from others that had posted on facebook.

A message was left on my answering machine from the "IRS" that was a final notice. The phone number to call about this final notice is 913-547-6907. (a Kansas exchange, I later found out.) I asked who I was speaking with. The person said his name was Andrew Lewis and gave a badge number. I was told that the phone call was being recorded. He proceeded to tell me that I owed the "IRS" over $6,000 from the years 2009-2014. As I asked for more information, the person reminded me that the call was being recorded. When he realized that I was not being cooperative, he told me that the local authorities were going to be contacted and I was going to be arrested in 30-35 minutes. I hung up. I then received the same prerecorded message on my phone less than half an hour later! The scammers have to be stopped. I have heard that others have been called with the same scam.

I received phone call and they left a message stating that a criminal lawsuit was being filed against me and I needed to call at once. What was strange was the call showed up on the phone as NOT IN USE. Her name was Lee Brown and the case# CF79621. The call came in after 5:00pm so it was to late to contact IRS to try and verify. What was also strange was she said that if I don't return call or she doesn't hear from my attorney of record the only thing she can do is wish me good luck as this unfolds around me. I have the recording if needed.

Caller has called twice a day, for the last two days, and claims to be from the IRA and that "They have been trying to reach us, and we need to call them back at such and such phone number, and if we don't pay taxes," {threatens us with some sort of action on their part-I usually hang up at this point they will file bankruptcy against us"}. They have called as early as 8:30 am and later in day, on April 4, and 5th. I was able to write down part of their phone number they wanted us to call them back at; last digits were: 6537. We do not have called ID.
