I received a phone call on my answering machine that said that it was the last contact they were going to extend to us and that the IRS was investigating us and we needed to contact them immediately. Phone #954-812-3196. I called the number and some one with a very heavy accent answered and asked did I know how much money I owed the IRS. I told him that we did not owe the IRS anything. He asked 'are you sure' and I asked what department was he representing and he said 'you called me and you don't know who you are calling'? He again asked about the money we owed the IRS and that we had better take care of it. I repeated that I owed nothing and he was not going to get a payment from me for anything. He hung up.

I got a call from Lisa Farger saying I owed money to the IRS. She told me if I didn't pay they would file a lawsuit against me and send the police to arrest me. I contacted my accountant and she told me it was a scam and I should report it to you at the BBB.

I received a voicemail from someone claiming to be calling from the IRS. They said we owed them money. They told me if I did not pay they would be filing a lawsuit against me. We already received our tax return, so I knew this was a scam.

We got a message from the IRS (but it wasn't the IRS) saying that they had us on final notice of a lawsuit and we had to contact them right away. I know this is not the IRS and is not genuine. The number they called from is 8002523563. The number they left to call back is 2088438063.

I got a phone call from someone called Nicky Johnson. He was claiming to be an "Officer of the IRS" saying that they had a lawsuit against me and that he was calling from the "office of Jerry Paine". I just hung up the call as I know it's a scam.

I got a call from a person claiming to be from the IRS. He gave his name as Kevin Wilson and said that he had a lawsuit pending against me as I owed the IRS money and if I paid today it would be resolved. He said I needed to speak to the payment office on 2064142992. I started asking him questions as I didn't believe him and he hung up. He called from 2028311035.

The caller said that they had been trying to reach me because the IRS was suing me for something.

They left a call back number: 1-844-7150-0500. No I didn't call. Sounded too much like a scam.

Received a phone call on my cell. It was a recording of a female "This is your final notice. We have been trying to contact you. The IRS is suing you. For more information call 619-548-3976". This was the same phone # the call came from. When you call this number different people answer saying they are with the IRS. They ask for your cell number to "put in the computer" and name. When no information is given they hang up.

The IRS left me a voicemail stating they were going to sue me and left a number to call back. They called back later in the day and told me that I owe taxes and were going to sue me if I didn't give them money. I am 90 years old and this call confused me. I asked several questions to the lady on the phone and she hung up on me. I contacted the ScamPulse.com to let them know of the phone calls and they confirmed that the IRS will not contact me via phone.
