Received a recorded call this morning a 7:42 am telling me this was my final notice from the IRS and I was to call a number she gave me to settle a tax issue before them taking action!

The Man said I owe $5800 and they been looking for me for 2years and said I'm about to go to jail cause I need to pay now and I said I can pay $25 and the man laughed at me and said the police will be to get you in 45 min and he asked do I still live a this address and I said no.

Received recorded message from Nicky Johnson of IRS that legal action is pending. Left callback number 408 789 6597. I called and the person said he was John Brooks of the IRS. I work for a big bank and told him they had reached a bank and who were they trying to reach. The caller began cussing so I told him to have a nice day and hung up.

I received a message on my answering machine from someone posing as an IRS Investigator. When I called back, they told me that I had filled my taxes in 2012 incorrectly. They proceeded to tell me that a warrant was out for my arrest. I then, stupidly, paid the $5000 only to find out it was a scam.

I received a phone message from 509-592-4918 stating it was my final notice from the IRS and if I didn't return the call they were filing a lawsuit against me. When I returned the call and ask for a case number they hung up.

An Indian person called saying that I owed the IRS several thousand dollars. He kept saying that they had tried to notify me three times and now there was a warrant for my arrest. I asked to be transferred to someone I could understand. I was transferred to another Indian lady and she said they had come to my house Nov. 2, 2015 to notify me and I wasn't here. When I told them I was going to hand up and contact my local IRS office she said you can't hang up it has to be paid, or go to court.

It was a recorded message about a final time to do something about us owing them money. I hung up on them.

We got a call at our office from a "Mike Henry" claiming to be from the IRS. When we starting answering questions the call ended. He was supposedly calling about a claim against the business. When we called back to see if the call dropped he asked for the address but had already mentioned it, so we told him he had it. He cursed us and hung up.

I got 2 calls from Houston Texas saying they were the IRS and were going to take me to court or arrest me...the number on my caller ID was 832-591-9586. It was a recorded message and I knew it was a scam......thank you!

Scammer left message on telephone answer machine 11/18/2015 8:22am:

This call is an official final notice from IRS. The reason for this call is to inform you that IRS has filed a law suit against you. To get more information about this law suit call 305-600-0454.

I received a call today from phone number 360-861-4109, that I am overdue on my taxes and the irs is going to come arrest me within 24 hours if I don't call them back and pay whatever amount they say I owe. This is the second time in a week that I have received a call like this. I know it is a scam.

There was a call from Texas.Message left on our answering machine saying there is an IRS lawsuit on someone in out house. Didn't say who it was for. Said we needed to call them immediately. We did not call back.

We have gotten two calls from the IRS, one I answered and was asked (recorded message) to return, I did not,and the other I did not answer, but they did not leave a message. My caller ID had a number of 716-206-3218, again I did not try to return the call.

Consumer was called from someone stating they were from IRS using the phone of 202-751-0752. They left her a message saying "This is final opportunity, IRS is filing lawsuit against you". The message did not say how much she owed.
