I got a call with this phone number provided saying they were from the IRS telling me that if I did not get this debt situation resolved that I would be arrested. They had my name and my husbands name who has passed away. They only had information though that I feel is easily available to find.

Automated voicemail stating that I needed to call back asap as their had been a warrant issued for my arrest due to tax evasion. Called the number back and the "rep" stated his name was David Nelson irs employee number IRM98707 and they had a file on record showing I owed the IRS 7986 dollars. To avoid arrest I needed to either pay today by debit card or hire an attorney and go to court. I asked to get a return number to call and verify their information and he transferred me to his "supervisor" Michael Borris who assured me it was all legal. When I requested the number to call and verify information they hung up on me.

A lady called and claimed she was from the IRS. She said her name was Officer Michelle Wife/Wise (not sure of the last name as she spoke quickly). She left a message on my cell phone saying there was a legal case against me, this was a final notice against me for tax fraud, and before it goes to Federal claims courthouse or before I get arrested, I should call this number: 786-369-1972. I knew it was a scam and called the BBB right away to report it. She said to also call the FTC, which I did, and report it on this website.

I got a pre-recorded message from a woman saying she was with the IRS and that I had unpaid taxes. She wanted me to call her back right away. She said I would be arrested.

Phone call from D.C. exchange. Left recording. Threatened fines, etc. if I did not respond to so-called "tax evasion." Left a # to call back. Called # and talked to someone with an east coast accent. Could hardly understand his questions with talking chatter and noise in background. I gave him my name and asked what this was about, repeatedly. Call eventually dropped.

Some man with a foreign accident called my home phone and left me a message. The message said he was with the IRS and that I had back taxes owing. He wanted me to call them back to take care of before being arrested. I did not call them back, I knew it was a scam. I let the ScamPulse.com of Amarillo know instead.

I answered a call yesterday with a recording in poor syntax telling me the caller represented the IRS. “We look at your tax and find serious felony on your ‘rap’. You must call (number) immediately to make arrangement to send money. We send local cop to arrest you unless you call us and pay us.”

The number showed as Plandome Manor, New York and it was 513-303-8288.
