I got a call from this phone number claiming it was a person from the IRS. They were starting to say that I was needing to owe them something but I knew it was a scam so I hung up since the IRS doesn't call you like this.

The voicemail left said the following:

You have been fraudulent in your taxes and the US government is filing charges and you need to call 875-288-1774

The scammer called 2 times. First one was ignored and second left a voicemail and its a recording.

A man called and the caller ID said Jackson, CA. but he said he was with the IRS. Told me I would be arrested for taxes owing. I told him I knew I didn't owe anything. At that time he threatened me with coming to arrest me. I told him I knew it was a scam and hung up to call the BBB and report it.

I got a call today from a man with a foreign accent. He told me I would be arrested for tax evasion. He said I owed $2000. I said I've never worked or held a job. He hung up. I called him back. He told me I would be arrested for tax evasion. He said he would call the cops and have me arrested.

The guy on the phone that answered said his name was Damon Miller and that he needed my Mother-in-Law to give them her information. They gave her a case number. When I called the number back, he said that he would need to look up her case by her phone number instead of the case number he gave her and when I asked why they looked them up by phone instead of the case number he gave her, he hung up on me. I called back and questioned some more and the guy ended up yelling at me that if I really wanted to know if they are real, they could have the police come to my house and arrest me. I laughed and they hung up the phone.

Caller left a message that there was a government action filed against him, and he could return their call and rectify the situation. They left four total messages from the same number the same recording. It automated phone scam.

scammer called my phone telling me to call this number 2544335879 if i didnt, it was there last attempt to collect a debt from me from THE IRS, when i called the scammer sounded Chinese and i asked what state and city they were from she told me WASHINGTON DC, she hung up the phone on me, when i called again i asked what was the mailing address i would like to send money to them VIA money order, the lady hung up on me again

Received a message to report four IRS violations; on home phone and now on cell phone. Returned the call (answered IRS) and I confronted the legitimacy and they hung up.

I have received numerous calls about an IRS debt collection. All of the numbers have a DC area code-202. They leave messages to call them back. Every person has an accent, but identifying the accent may seem like a bias. I've called them back and when I ask them what they want they ask for my name and social security number. Of course, I don't give this to them and they automatically hang up. When I redial them they hang up without saying anything.

This is followed by a call from another number asking if I had just called them. That number is usually a 571 area code, from Virginia.

Received voicemail from female claiming to be the IRS. The person said it was a pre-recorded message, it was obviously not. Pretty comical actually, she tried to make her voice sound like a robot. She said that IRS has put a warrant out for my arrest due to back taxes and I needed to contact them right away to resolve the issue.

A CALL TO MY CELL PHONE, RECORDED MESSAGE TELLING ME SHE WAS WITH THE IRS AND THAT I NEEDED TO CALL THEM BACK RIGHT AWAY. THERE WAS SOMETHING WRONG WITH MY TAXES AND I OWED A BIG BALANCE. ALSO SAID IF I DIDN'T CALL BACK AND RESOLVE THIS MATTER, THEY WOULD SEIZE MY BELONGS AND PUT A WARRANT OUT FOR MY ARREST. I TRIED CALLING THE NUMBER BACK FROM MY HOUSE PHONE, AND ALL I GOT WAS A FAST BUSY SIGNAL. THE NUMBER THAT SHOWED UP ON MY CELL WAS THE NUMBER SHE SAID TO CALL.. 209-421-0103

The guys name was Kevin Murphy. He said I have been defrauding the IRS since 2013-2017 and I owed over $4000.00. And if I did pay the cops would be at my door in about 15 minutes. I knew was fraud so I gave him nothing.

A caller left a message saying they were the IRS and this was my last chance to call before the IRS would file a law suite against me. I did not return the call.

Automated message that I have 24 hrs to resolve debt before police will come to arrest me. When called back uses phone number to identify me no automated prompts or anything.

I got 2 phone messages asking for a call back, I spoke to a foreign man claiming to be from IRS. He asked for man name, zip code, and case number. I asked when did IRS start making calls, and he hung up. You could hear quite a few people in the background.
