I received a phone call from this group saying that the IRS has four counts against me and that they could help me. They told me to call them back. They didn't identify who they were. It was a pre-recorded message.

We had a call they identify their self as the IRS and said we owed money or would be arrested. We did not give the money and quickly hung up. The caller had a foreign accent. Sounded middle-eastern.

I received a call from someone claiming to be the IRS saying to contact them immediately. It was hard to understand the message but I called the number that they left back from a different phone. When i called back a guy with a heavy accent answered as the IRS.

3 of our 6 employees received phone calls on June 28, 2018 between 7am and 1:30pm and the person on the phone said they were with the IRS and we all needed to take immediate action regarding a claim with the IRS. No information was given and one rep was very rude to one of our employees. The other 2 just hung up.

Wanted everyone to have a heads up.

Eric Anderson called stated he was a sheriff and that I owed $3542 to IRS last 5 years to the IRS. He wanted me to Google Play card for a total of $500. Said to call 202-996-5933 when I purchased the cards.

They did get $500 off of my debit card. They read the debit card numbers back to me and it was right.

Called and left a message threatening to take me into custody for four serious allegations. I called the number back and was told it was the IRS investigation department. I hung up.

Received recorded phone message from "IRS" about debt collection on my cell phone. I knew sounded very strange since I do not give out my personal cell number; so I called number back and the person answer the phone "IRS" . Person had foreign accent and you could hear multiple people in background. The foreigner asked for a 5-digit reference code. When I did not have a code, he said well then give me your full name, address and phone number. I immediately informed this person he was a fraud and he hung on me.

I tried calling the same number from my business land line and after ringing continuously; someone picked up on the line and did not say anything and hung up. Tried again from land line phone and no answer.

I've received over 5 calls from this scammer today informing me of a claim against me for tax evasion. They left a voicemail insisting that I call them back. I too assumed it was a scam but wanted to see if they would answer. A man with an Indian accent answered and started informing me of the case number and such. Even asked if I deliberately filed false tax returns. I couldn't hold it in any longer and told him that I know for a fact that the IRS does not call out of the blue to request back taxes and that I plan to report him. He told me to suck his ***. I thought well the IRS has a very rude approach. He continued to cuss me out over the phone. About 30 minutes after that I received another call from the same number. I finally blocked it.

I rec'd a call from this number and when I answered it was a recording; allegedly from the IRS about a debt that I owe. The voice on the recording advised the listener to call the number. I knew it was a scam; but I wanted to see if someone would answer. Long and behold, a lady with an accent (maybe Mexican) answered the line saying "IRS".. I asked for her ID number and she was stunned. She went on to hang up on me.

A very robotic voice informs you that the IRS has issued a "fresh warrant" against your name for income tax evasion and to resolve the matter, you are directed to call 708-968-9918 immediately. Generally, I answer robo calls and wait to hear a human voice before I say anything (this often identifies my phone number as "other"--- modem, alarm system, fax, etc--- to robo callers and removes me off the call list.) However, this message started playing the second I answered.

I received a number of calls and voicemails from a number claiming to be the IRS. The recording was sketchy and used poor grammar. In the recording I was told I would be arrested if I did not call back. When I called back, they began to ask for my information and I told them I knew it was a scam. The Operator told me that they would see me behind bars and hung up.

After receiving another call the next day, I called back and told them to stop calling me, I wasn't going to give them my information. The Operator cussed me out and hung up.

I get repeated recorded calls from someone claiming to be with the IRS and saying I have unpaid taxes. They threaten me with arrest and incarceration.

I received multiple calls from number ***. They said they were from the IRS and that I was going to be arrested for fraud.

They accused me of several things, and told me there was a warrant out for my arrest. I just listened. They told me to call another number which I did. The person who answered identified themselves as being from the IRS. I knew this was a scam as none of it was true. I hung up before they could ask for money, which I suspected was coming next.

IRS Scam. The initial call was very distorted like he was playing a recording through a headset pressed up against the phone. I called back as they hang up when recording is done. The recording warns that you owe IRS money and they have a warrant out for your arrest. That you need to call and make a payment before you are arrested. So I spam called them until they begged me to stop :D
