I received 3 voice mails over that past 2 weeks saying that I had a debt and they would have to initiate a law suite over the unpaid debt if I did not respond to their message. I know I don't have any unpaid debts so I ignored the calls. Then today I got another voice mail saying they would have to issue a arrest warrant over some unpaid taxes if I did not contact them. A threat to be arrested got my attention so I called 646-682-0792 and a women with a heavy (middle eastern) accent took my name, put me on hold, then came back and said there was a discrepancy concerning my taxes over the past 5 years and asked if I paid my taxes in the past 5 years. My response was "are you the IRS?" and she responded "yes". I said "If you are the IRS how can you not know if I paid taxes over the past 5 years?" She ignored that question and asked me to confirm my address. I told her I wasn't confirming anything until I knew who I was talking to and if there is a problem with my taxes they need to send me a letter. She hung up.

Automated recorded message stating they were the IRS and had proof I owed money. If I didn't respond immediately, they would have an arrest warrant issued for my IMMEDIATE arrest.

Receiving calls a claim to be the IRS claiming that if they don't receive the money they're requesting they will garnish your check and send out law enforcement in your area. Be careful they sound very legit when talking to them they will identify themselves as an IRS officer

Received a phone call on my cell phone. An automated computer message said it it was an emergency that I contact the IRS about my account. I hung up the phone and we called the number. It was answered after a few beeps and clicks by a man with a foreign accent who said it was the IRS. I told them I was going to turn this number over to the ScamPulse.com.

I got a call from an automated system telling me that I owed money on my taxes from this year. It also stated that I would be arrested by the local police if I did not return the call in 24 working hours. When I called the number back it was a foregin man I could barely understand. I asked him if he realized I'm not stupid and the IRS does not call people. He hung up on me.

Called 5/9/18 saying i was being prosecuted by the IRS and to call the above number. I did not answer the phone, but they left this message. They also called earlier in the week.

Man left message that I was would be going to court (IRS) if phone call not returned. Two calls from same # with same information received. # other call from women on 3/22/17 from New York at 716-371-9770 and 694-410-0254. On 3/16/17, call from 716-229-0599. I did not return any calls to the phone numbers given.

I initially let phone call go into voicemail. I listened. The recording was a woman's voice and didn't use great English. The message stated I had to call immediately or risk going to jail. I had heard about a scam involving the IRS and know that the IRS will never call asking for money. I called the number on May 24th. A foreign lady answered the phone stating "IRS." She then asked me for a number. I told her I didn't have one. She said she could look up my case using my address. I couldn't stomach the call any further. I told her I knew it was a scam and hung up on her. The disturbing part of the call is that I could hear a few other people in the background asking for information. I'm hoping by providing this phone number it will prevent others from being a victim.

Scammer left a voice message that said they have attempted to contact me and said that a lawsuit has been filed for fraud.

I called back from a different line and the person on the phone said his name was Luis Martin badge number 14795. I did not give my information as he requested.

They claimed I would be arrest let’s if I didn’t pay tax money to them. They claimed to be the IRS and has one person acting as the police to threaten me to pay them.

Stop them from impersonating the IRS that is a federal offense! Put them in jail. Myself, famy members friends, and co workers have all been getting these randoms calls from different numbers for years now. When will this stop?

I have received six calls from the number 516-442-9941 claiming to be the IRS. They call threatening me with court proceedings and arrest warrants if I do not give them money. I tell them that I know they are not the IRS, and then they hang up. I've dialed the number and they immediately answer saying, "Hello, this is the IRS." No legitimate government agency ever answers the phone like that.
