Received a robocall telling me that I was being sued by the IRS and if I did not call back immediately that a warrant would be issued for my arrest. I attempted to call the number back with the number blocked and it would reject the call. I have heard from others that this is a scam and they want you to pay off your IRS debt on the phone with them in VISA Pre Paid gift cards. I cannot believe anyone would fall for this but if figured I would out a warning out there.

I keep getting a recorded phone message, sometimes twice a day, on my landline saying it's the IRS and that I've been named in a lawsuit with them, the IRS..and that if I don't call the # back that they leave on the message which is the # I reported, that I will face legal consequences. So earlier today I called that # back from a phone not associated with me at all, and a man answered and said IRS, how can I help you? Then I said what IRS is this?...he said the tax collecting IRS.. I then asked...since when does the IRS make phone call and not send out official letters to citizens?...he then said, the tax collecting IRS *** with an F......I hung up immediately.....can some 1 please take care of this obvious problem and scam-job??...thanks very much...

This same thing happened to me last year shortly after my husband passed away and I lost a lot of money to these crooks. I went to the police but they couldn't do anything. They are calling me again this year!! Unbelievable!!

This number called us and left a voicemail claiming to be from the IRS. They threatened for us to be arrested if we didn't call them back immediately. We did not call them back.

Repeatedly getting calls from this number. They leave a voice message saying that IRS is filing a lawsuit against me and that I need to call them.

Told there was a warrant out for my arrest for I had defrauding the government out of 3,298.00 in Federal and 9,850.00 in State taxes. They used the threat of losing my job and house, if I didn't cooperate. I lost my mother a year and a half ago and I am so afraid of losing both. I have been left her house to take care of.

A foreigner called and told her to go to Best Buy in Grove City, OH and buy a gift card, and to give them the security number off the back as payment for tax fraud from 2016. They told me not to tell anyone. Officer Mark Williams # 198020, then another came on the phone with officer number IRM 24101. They said I owe $6000, and should pay them a thousand dollars a day. They asked how much money I had in the bank. They said they were going to send an officer to my home. He said if the clerk asked why I wanted the card, I was to say for my own personal use. He asked if I wanted to pay or go to prison. He said this was confidential not to tell anyone. While I was in Best Buy, he called 19 times.

The name came up Santa Ana Ca

They told me to call 714-881-3136 immediately to avoid the arrest warrant issued in my name from the IRS and the recording sounded very legit until I called back and they wanted to know my name and phone number and when I refused to give it, they hung up. After calling several times they told me to calm down and when I said this is a sick scam on people, they hung up again. People just don't have enough to do....

The call was a recording indicated that I had been identified by the IRS for a law suit and I should call the number immediately to avoid the legal proceedings. I looked the number up on the internet and it is apparently a residence that has had some legal issues before.

It was automated. It said they were going to file criminal charges against me if I didn’t call this number back. I owed money but they didn’t say how much. Even on the details of the number they called from was a $ sign that I could use to pay. I blocked the phone number.

Receiving calls from a number and says "this is the IRS and you need to return our call at a different number and they gave 323-471-1929 for return call, I believe they called from 202-629-9001. Said to not ignore the call or legal action will follow. They need to hear from me or my attorney. I know the IRS doesn't call but there are some elderly who might not understand and people need to stop taking hard earned money from good working people. I did not and will not be returning the call.

I received a recorded message from 407-413-9601 saying they were the IRS and they had a warrant for my arrest. I should call them back. I googled the phone number and it belongs to Sabelo International Trade owned by Saul Benjumea in Florida. I didn't call them back.

IRS representative (India) called regarding I owe back taxes and a warrant for my arrest has been issued (lol). Company wanted me to send cashier's check or Walmart MoneyGram to pay immediately or further consequences will be dwelt.

I received a call from 904-425-1597 February 6, 2018 and it was an automated message stating "Our business has an pending lawsuit with the IRS and possible warrant or arrest could happen if we did not contact this number 904-425-1597. our caller id list the number as unknown name.

I received a pre-recorded message phone call on my cell phone telling me there is a lawsuit against me for unpaid taxes. They left the phone number for me to call back. (Obviously I'm not calling them back). I know it is a scam but there are plenty of people, especially the elderly, that would be afraid it's real. Shame on these people.

A male with a foreign accent called and said he was from the IRS. He said their was a problem with my taxes. He asked who I did my taxes with, I told him H&R Block and if he had any more questions to call them. I knew this was a scam because I had never received anything in the mail from the IRS regarding this issue.
