I got a call from this phone number with the person calling me claiming to be from the IRS. They said I owed money but I knew it wasn't the IRS because they will contact you through the mail. They wouldn't call me like this.

Man with thick foreign accent called on a Saturday morning claiming he worked for the IRS and we owed over $7,000 in taxes for the years 2012-2016. He wanted me to pay today so they didn’t seize my property, money, and other assets. I know I don’t owe the IRS money so I asked to speak with his supervisor and he hung up. I called the number back and they answered as Internal Revenue Services. I asked the person who answered the phone what their name was and who they worked for. They hung up.

I was called regarding money missed on my taxes. I was told I would need to pay or be arrested. Then I was told to get gift cards at a Walgreens because my debit card would not work. They were not allowed to accept bank cards.

The call was obviously a computer claiming that this is a final notice that the IRS is trying to contact us about a law suit about unpaid taxes. The call has been repeated several times per day for several days. The caller demands a phone reply to 616-345-3857 immediately.

Auto/Robo message left on answering machine saying that "our department is investigating you and your family. We have tried to notify you regarding this issue in the previous 6 months but We have never got response from you so it has been considered as intentional fraud and lawsuit has been filed under your name in United States Government. you may call our department number (631) 228-7354. I repeat (631) 228-7354. For more information before we download your case into the courthouse." When you call the number, they answer the phone as "IRS".

This person pretended to be an irs officer. Threatened me with tax fraud and that they were making this final attempt to contact me and make arrangements today because they were filing criminal charges tomorrow in court. And had to give them an answer now. called my cpa and he said the irs will not call you. i had left him on the line but when i got back to him he had hung up. i had not received any letters from the irs prior to this call. scammer

In 3 days, I received a call from "The IRS" above numbers, telling me there was serious fraud and infringements on my past tax returns. I would be subject to major fines and jail time if I do not call back immediately. Deep (possibly altered) mail voice left message. I did not respond or call back, blocked these 3 callers.

I got a call from this number saying they were from the IRS and I had 4 situations I had to deal with. The person who left the voicemail said I had to call this number back within the next 24 hours or I would have a warrant out for my arrest.

I received a voice mail stating the IRS has made attemps over the past 6 months and that a law suit has been filied against me. and to call 256-857-6618. First time a person with an India accent answered and hung up, second time they answered he said his name was Frank, and tried to get personal information about me, he said he was looking for Michelle.

Have been receiving multiple calls from this number. The recorded message claims to be from the IRS and the need for us to pay unpaid taxes. I called back and they answered the phone IRS can I help you. I told them I was reporting their number because they kept calling trying to scam money out of us. They promptly hung up .

Officer Ryan Smith called to tell me I was under federal investigation in the collections in the audit report of my taxes. I called a local person who confirmed this was not true. I believe this to be a scam.
