Got a call from 6466321316 saying it was the IRS. It was a automated message saying i was being watched. Looked up this number on google and it was a scam number. People got this same call last year.

Received a cell phone voicemail with a CA area code. Message said IRS had attempted to collect a debt and now a lawsuit was pending against me. I called the number ( figured it was a scam). Person of foreign accent answered identifying himself as "Agent ----". I asked to remove my name from the scam list. Phone disconnected. I could hear a lot of background voices when he answered.

Called claimed to be IRS agent Ryan Smith said that if I didnt call the numbwr back my local law enforcement would have a warrant for my arrest because I owed on my taxes even though I've never filed taxes.

called left message stating you need to contact us immediately or there will be penalties involved. Called back knowing it was a scam and it sounded like a sweat factory environment. Heavy voice accents.

mans recorded voice called and stated "call within 24 hours about income taxes, you have a serious problem, they will be forced to all the cops if they don't hear from you within 24 hours". Called back the number from the recording; requested first and last name/ stated how silly he was for using the word cops caller disconnected immediately.

I have had about 10 calls stating they are the IRS and it is cruitial for me to return the call. They are filing fraud on me and my family and it will be going to court. I have called the number back and they want my name and zip code. I have not shared any information with them. I told them I was reporting them and they hang up very quickly.

The person left a message on my phone stating they were from the IRS and if I didn't return the call a warrant would be put out for my arrest. I am to the understanding that the IRS doesn't call a person. That they send you a letter to set up a time and date to be contacted. I received a call last year around this same time at tax season and they left the same message. I want others to know not to call the number back as they can get your information by doing that. I don't answer my phone if I don't recognize the number calling me. If it is important they will leave a message.

Person said he was calling from the IRS.Told me I had 3 volations,between 1998 and 2004 and he wanted my SS# and what bank I used,I refused,I told him the IRS has a toll free number.He went on to say that if I didn't resolve this issue my home would be taken and a feeze put on my bank account ,I told him I didn't have a bank account,he told me that I was lying.I told him I was call the IRS,he gave his name as Shane Watson,badge # 2625.I didn't give any information,he said I would be arrested,I hung up on him.
