I received many calls threatening me that I was in trouble with Federal Agents and that they would come knocking on my door to take me before a Magistrate Judge and a jury--I assume for back taxes. They did provide a call back number, the same number they called from.

Owed outstanding amount of money and would be arrested if did not pay. asked how filed taxes and said there was errors and an audit was done. asked amount in checking account. wanted apple cards purchased and wanted to stay on line while went to best buy and purchased card. Said name was Brandon Jones.

IRS called today and demanded we pay $3000 over the phone. It began with a foreign woman pretending to be an officer. She told us to get a card. She was mean. She said if I didn't pay now, she would give my address to police who would arrest me now.

Yesterday I received a phone call on my cell phone from either a man in a monotonous voice or a robocall with the caller ID showing the call came from Washington, DC. The caller told me that the IRS had determined that I owe back taxes (which I am certain I don't). Before he could finish the spiel, I hung up but want to warn others about that obvious scam.

WE GOT A PHONE CALL FROM A SHAUN WITH SUPPOSELY IRS INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE OUT OF WASHINGTON DC

DEMANDING WE OWED 3700.00 AND IT NEEDED TO BE WIRED FROM A WALMART OR 7 ELEVEN STORE. WE EVEN GOT THREATS

OF COMING AND ARRESTING US AND GETTING INTO OUR PERSONAL ACCOUNTS. HE WAS FROM A FOREIGN COUNTRY CULD BEARLY UNDERSTAND WHAT HE WAS SAYING.

*** *** received a call from someone with a strong Indian accent stating they were from the IRS. They claimed they had been trying to contact him for three years and that he owed $6800. They threatened to arrest him right away when he protested and then hung up the phone.

This number called me and left a voicemail claiming to be the IRS. They said they have been trying to contact me for 6 months in regards to my tax returns and that they would be filing a law suite on behalf of the Federal Government. They said I needed to call this number back.

left an automated message stating "litigation has not been taken against you yet, please call 805-744-2626 to discuss this before litigation is taken against you." I called, first time, male voice answered "hello" and put me on hold after taking my name and did not come back to line. Second time I called, again a male voice put me on hold right away and did not come back. Third time, I asked what the business was and he stated "IRS, some department I do not remember" put me on hold and did come back again. Fourth time I called back, again male voice but he answered "IRS". Sounded like someone half asleep, asked why I was calling, I stated "I am calling you back, so you should have a record of why you called", he responded "ya..." and just sat there on the phone.

At this point (knowing from the moment they said they were calling from the IRS) that they were full of &%$# and told them to not call me back, at which point he hung up on me.

I received 2 phone calls to my mobile phone on February 27, 2018. I did not answer the calls; a voice message was left by the scammer both times. The voice message stated, "This if Officer Ryan Smith of the Internal Revenue Service. You are under federal investigation because of fraud and inethical activities in the (?) report. Please call me at 202-869-2366. If you disregard this call, it will be taken as an offense on your side. Again, this is Officer Ryan Smith of the Internal Revenue Service. Please call me at 202-869-2366.

Someone called me in was telling me that I owed $3,945 due to my taxes being miscalculated from 2012-2017. The man insisted me to stay on the phone. He told me that he was a investigator in that I had to go to Walmart or Publix to send the money. If not, they would send local police to my house to pick me up and I would have to do 5 years in jail. I have never received a letter from the IRS saying anything about me owing any money.
