The call came from Sweden but showed up as Texas. When I called back a woman ask me to verify my name and social. I told her no and she became rude and hung up on me. I tried to call back and I was blocked.

Received a call from the "IRS" saying I owed money and they were sending someone to my house to arrest me. I hung up before they could finish, the IRS doesn't call you like that, and I don't owe them money.

I got a call from this number saying they are the IRS. They told me I had a warrant out for my arrest due to tax evasion. They said I owed $2,850. They said if I disconnected the phone call, they would send my warrant to the local police department and I would be arrested within 45 minutes. The person on the phone had a foreign accent.

Claimed to be with the IRS stating that they had tried to contact me in May 2017 and also in July 2017, and now I had 45 minutes to pay a $2504.00 debt owed and if not then an arrest warrant would be issued immediately. I was told not to interrupt while they read the conditions of the warrant and if I did argue or interrupt them they would hang up and the sheriffs dept would immediately arrest me, as the sheriffs dept were also on the line listening to the call. Threatened me with a $40,000.00 fine and 5 years in federal prison.

A guy called saying his name was Anthony from the IRS! I told him don't call me again and hung up! He called right back screaming at me, saying that he is with the IRS and wanted to talk about my back taxes, which I don't have, I responded, don't call me again or you will regret it and hung up!

My daughter was targeted by these people claiming to be from the IRS. They threatened to have my daughter arrested. They have been leaving threatening voice mails as well. My daughter called me in a panic thinking this was true. I got the phone number from her and tried calling it. I got a message saying "call rejected".

Repeatedly called and left the same recorded voicemail saying I was being audited by the IRS and soon the matter will be handed to the county courthouse. When I eventually called back the man (with an Indian accent?) asked me for my name/phone number/address. I told him I wasn't comfortable giving out my information because the call seemed suspicious to me. The man then told me "if you want to be arrested you can take that chance, but don't say we didn't try to help you". When I told the man that his response seemed very unprofessional he repeated what he said before, mumbled a little, then hung up.

I completed basic info online before 12-15-17 to get insurance quotes. I thought I was on Blue Cross Blue Shield website. After completing basic info, I realized I was not. This is when it all started. I have received numerous calls since then. Today, it was the IRS scam. It sounds like an automated machine calling to tell you that this is the IRS and that they will sue you for back taxes owed and to call the number back immediately to prevent suit. First of all, I do not owe IRS any money and second, have heard about this scam. What a shame. Please tell all your family, friends, neighbors and ESPECIALLY ALL the elderly people you know as they are the most vulernable.

Got an unknown call from Long Beach WAS which wasnt flagged by my Mr. Number app (it identifies spammers). didnt answer call but it left a computer generated message saying(this is the transcription on my phone) "______ and your non bailable arrest warrant has been issued on your name by the internal revenue service so before we move forward with the lawsuit call us back as soon as possible on the number 360-244-4592 I repeat the number is 360-244-4592 thank you and you..."

Well blocked that number

I received a phone call on my person cell phone - my phone number is a Southeast Kansas number.

The number came from a Washington number - 506.426.4002

An automated message stated that I was being sued by the IRS, a warrant was issued for my arrest and to call them at this number.

I've had two people call me one from Georgia and the other Missouri saying I have an arrest warrant for a IRS tax invasion or whatever it's called and I know this is a scam because I've never worked or filed for taxes and they keep calling me they want me to pay 1000 dollars to them to take the warrant off I need help for them to stop harressing me
