the only info that he was able to repeat was the information that i (falsely) provided.

i called back under an assumed name again, and gave different information, but got the same story from the scammer.

Left me a message saying I have serious allegations pressed against me and if I did not call back the local police are going to take me into custody. I called back 3 times questioning them - they keep hanging up on me, when I tell them that I did not think the IRS contacts people by phone.

I got a phone call stating I will be arrested in 24 hours if I do not call back and pay a fine for the IRS. This was by an automated robot call.

"Just received notification regarding your tax filing from the headquarters which will get expired in 24 working hours and once after that you will be in custody of the local cops as there are four serious allegations pressed on your name at this moment we would request you to get back to us so that we can discuss about this case before taking any legal action against you to reach us is #314-328-6276 I repeat #314-328-6276 thank you"

A man left a message claiming to be with the IRS they left a message stating it was the final notice... I called BBB.

I received a call from 321-614-3769 on 1.10.17 from a man saying he was the IRS and there was a problem with my 2012 tax return, and I needed to take care of the balance today by going to Family Dollar, Dollar General or Walgreen and buy a prepaid card for $4,656. He asked how far I lived from the store. He had an accent. The room he called from was very noisy. He gave me a badge number, an arrest warrant ID number.

A voice recording says they are from the IRS and that you have to call the number back within 24hrs or they will send the local police to arrest you because you have outstanding legal issues. They’ve called me 7times in less than 12hrs and utilized 2 different numbers. I attempted to call the number back, blocking my number first, a recording asks you to wait for the next available agent. No one answered and after 4min I hung up.

This call came to my phone at 9:55 am on Nov. 17, 2017. The voice sounded female and professional. She stated the call was from the IRS, that I had been identified as committing fraud and that a warrant for my arrest had been (or would be) issued for my arrest. My instruction was to call a 202 number immediately. Unfortunately, I was so shaken I didn't get the full number. The 202-899-9021 I retrieved from my caller ID, but I did not attempt to return the call.

imposter called saying he was rep from the IRS called to tell me I have unpaid taxes of $5000 and need to pay asap. I called him back at 219-206-2080 to tell him I don't owe any back taxes, and then he hung up.

Automated phone message left on my cell phone. Threatened Federal Court Action and or Arrest. Phone number 415-737-6379. Called them back...foreign accent by receiver. He kept asking me for personal information. I responded that I was going to call my local IRS office to verify caller's accusations. He terminated phone call.

They called me and an automated message said that the US Marshalls were drawing up a warrant for my arrest. They said it was because I owed the IRS money. WHICH I KNOW I DON’T!!!...And that I should call the number they provide to handle the matter otherwise I would be arrested. I did call the number and this is the conversation:

“Officer Kevin Wright stated that I owe the IRS $5,276 from nonpayment of taxes from the years 2010 to 2016. He told me that I could make monthly installments if I couldn’t pay the entire amount at one time. He then put his supervisor on whose name is, senior officer Sean Alex, his ID number 407115. (both of whom have either Indian or Pakistani accents) Officer Alex then told me to go to either a Walgreens, Rite Aid or Family Dollar and get a prepaid card and put $500 on the card. (Which is the minimum amount I can pay) also, I had to stay on the phone with him the entire time, driving in my car, going into store and purchasing the prepaid card. They allege that my case number is IR7436. At that time I hung up the phone because I just wanted to get enough information to provide you.

These people called me as soon as I got my government phone number activated my phone a couple of numbers called my phone told me that by me paying my taxes that I have or will having 9th$ and will going in to my account once I pay 199$what was I thinking of I guess it was the fact that my aunt had just past not a lot of other things was going on with me and my family I just wasn't thinking at the time then he said go and purchase a gift card so they will have away to send or put the money to so I did that next thing I know they sent me another email saying that my state is not a tax free state I have to pay additional 499$I was like why can't these fees be paid out of whatever I about to receive what I'll be getting back I was a fool listening to foolish thing's I was even crying of happiness and praying that this is to good to be true and I even said and begged that this is not a problem with this he followed by saying I promised that you will be taken care of we got your back no worries then. After that additional cost that you will be getting back along with the money that I was going to be getting in a boutique ten minutes prior I talked to 3 different people 1 woman and 2 gentlemen she called gave me a 3 digit #s and another and another
