I have paid all my taxes, I do not owe anyone anything. This 562- number came up on lookup as in Californina.

They called first with a recording with directions to call the office back about criminal activity. My husband called back and the said they were calling from the irs about tax evasion. I knew it was a scam from this happening about 4 years ago and had my husband hang up the phone.

Called me, left a voice mail saying it was the IRS and I have 4 warrants for my arrest within the next 24 hours and need to call back asap. I called back and the voice on the other end was clearly foreign.

After a very brief conversation I told them they were a scam and I was directing this number to police and put the phone down.

Received several calls on my cell phone this weekend. I didn't recognize the number or area code. I answered one of the calls, it was a computer message stated this was from the IRS, and there was a case against me in litigation. I don't owe the IRS anything, nor have "Any"case in litigation with anyone. So decided to report them as a scam through you all, and I also looked up this number it is out of Missouri. I know the IRS doesn't conduct its business in this manner either. Thank you.

I got a call, a recording said the IRS had been trying to get a hold of me about a fraud alert, someone had stolen my identity. They asked that I call them back.

I have been receiving messages on my phone that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me and that both me and my family are being investigated for fraud. Yesterday they left 2 messages~~~one @ 10:53 am and the other @ 5:26 pm. It states that they have been trying to contact me regarding this matter for the last 6 months with no response. I have been instructed to contact them immediately before they download my case to the courthouse. I am disabled and don't owe the IRS any money.

Foreign man called claiming to be from the IRS stating I had an outstanding debt and now a warrant for my arrest for not paying. He said they were sending all the information to the authorities in Florida to have me picked up.

I received multiple calls from 910-830-0287 today; an automated VM stated that they were calling from the IRS regarding fraud and something about the US Government. It also said they've tried to contact me for the past 6 months without success and now they'll file a lawsuit against me but never stated my specific name in the message. I tried to call back several times but no answer. I noticed this number came up on other sites as scam. Be aware!!!

A female with a foreign accent, said if I or my attorney did not call back, action would be taken!

I know the IRS doesn't call like this, so it has to be a scam!

Received a call from an Indian sounding gentleman claiming to be an agent with the IRS asking for information regarding my outstanding debt. I do not have a debit with the IRS and I have heard of these types of scams going around. The phone number came up as originating in Florida. I told the gentleman to have a good day and hung up without providing any personal information.

scammer called me stating I owe IRS for incorrect tax information on my 2012-2016 taxes. they wants me to purchase prepaid cards for the amount 4510.00 and if I did not settle this I will go to jail.

I received a phone call from a man who represented himself as federal agent with the IRS. He stated I owed $4900 in back taxes and informed me that an arrest warrant had been issued in my name and I needed to pay something today in order to have it lifted. He instructed me to go to my local CVS or 7/11 gas station and purchase 2 $100 iTunes gift cards. He stated that he would send the local authorities to my home to arrest me if I hung up the call. After giving him the gift card numbers, he then informed me that his supervisor said $200 was not enough to lift the arrest warrant. He wanted $500. When I said I didn't have it, he told me tax agents would be at my home at 3pm the next day to work out additional arrangements.

The voice stated that I would be charged with 4 serious allegations from my taxes and that within 24hrs it would be reported to the local cops if I did not call them back at headquarters to discuss the case against me
