These people has called us twice this month threatening that they will arrest us if we do not comply. I returned this call and spoke with a so-called agent I told him that I was on to him and he hung up. They do sound very convincing and scary.

Received a vmail saying I owed $ to the IRS and if I didn't cooperate the police would come to my door the next day and arrest me. I called back and the man answering could barely speak English, and I could hear other phone conversations in the background. I asked him if he was from the IRS. He hesitated and then said "yes." I then asked him for his address. He didn't answer. I said then that I would report him to the Attorney General, and hung up.

Robot calls the last 3 days. Call says they have 4 counts of tax fraud against me. (Never mention a name). Tell me to call back same number that the robo call was from with-in 24 hrs to avoid the matter from going to trial. I have’nt called them back and will not call them ever.

A guy named Xavier Cooper called saying he was going to send homeland security to my house if I did not pay 1,542 in supposed tax fraud that I owe he was very rude and threatening too me over the phone . I stated that if I owed taxes that i should have received something in the mail about it. Which I never have he told me he knew for a fact I had received letters stating I owe no st to the IRS. I looked up the number he had called me from and it was for *** ***  *** located in Washington which I will attach a picture of that information of their Facebook page . Thank you

My husband got a call from these people saying that they were the IRS and a warrant has been issued for his arrest due to an error when filing taxes which I knew was false so that is when my suspicions came about and after talking to them I realized it was a scam.

Computerized voice says you're behind on tax and the "cops" will be coming to get you if you don't call back. (poor English usage)

Based scammers state on area code.

Re: question below, money was not accessed since it was a phone call, but the implication was you would have to pay upon returning the call.

First there is a recording, then the

Scammer ask to confirm name and phone number. He gave me his name, case #, and told me my bank acct would be frozen in a hour and I would be arrested if I didn't get to a Target are Best Buy to get a pre paid bank card. (Voice is raise and getting irate). I told him I I live in a rule area and would take me about an hour plus to get there he told me that he would stay on the phone while I drove. I hung up and he called me back, I told him the call dropped. I asked if I could call when I get there he said yes let me know when you get to parking lot.

My wife called the phone # when I was on the phone the guy answer IRS, she said , I have wrong number and he said OH My GOD! And she just hung up. It's been about 30mins and have not heard from anyone.

A message was left on my phone claiming to be the IRS and stating that a lawsuit has been filed under my name and that an arrest warrant has been issued against me. The caller ID shows this phone number in Anchorage Alaska.

I received a call on my house phone from the IRS. Threaten warrant from IRS. John Watson. Stated I owed $4000. They would settle for $800 if I sent it immediately. He wanted to know if I had holding I could liquidate. I know it is a scam and did not send money.

When I answered the phone the message that I was given sounded very robotic and said that the IRS had issued a warrant for me and I needed to call the phone number back to get it resolved. When I called the phone number the man spoke very poor English and I had a hard time understanding what he needed. He wanted me to explain to him what the phone message was about then he wanted me to give him my phone number and name so he could track me down in their system. When I refused and started asking questions he hung up on me.
