I was called by this phone number and they left a voicemail saying that they were the IRS and that there was identify theft and suspected theft by family members and that it was going to be entered into court action if I didn't return phone call. I returned phone call asking where they were located and for more specific information. She sounded like she was in a call center in a foreign country. She kept saying she was in DC. It's thanksgiving and not likely that IRS agents are working today or from foreign call centers. I actually asked if it was a scam and she said if you think that then you can hang up. And then she hung up on me after a few more of my questions asking for more details.

Received call...automated call said from the IRS (which is when I knew it was a scam) saying they had been trying to contact me and this was my final notice that they are initiating legal action against me for tax fraud.

I rarely answer unknown numbers, but thought this might be from Kaiser Permanente or Providence Healthcare, as they sometimes call from non-local numbers.

Keep receiving calls stating they are from the IRS and I owe over $10,000.00 They say they are going to close case and just send the sheriff's office out and have me arrested. Have called several times from the same number, have had the number blocked now.

I actually called the number back and they said they were the IRS. I politely informed the person answering that I would be reporting the fraud.

I was left a message from an automated service stating they were the IRS and I needed to call back a.s.a.p. As soon as I called I was told I had warrants for my arrest and they were tracking my whereabouts and if I didn't pay immediately I would be arrested. If you have any issues with the IRS believe me you will receive it in writing first. Be safe folks there are a lot of worthless [censored] out there!!!

I received a phone call that said it was the IRS and this was a final notice on a debt. The IRS does not contact people by phone.

They say they have issued an arrest warrant for me due to my taxes being done incorrectly.

I asked what was wrong with them?

They kept saying they are incorrect & when I ask why I had not heard from its before now they hang up

They are foreigners & many times the recording they leave is a machine

I didn't answer my cell phone but they left a voice mail claiming to be from the IRS and said I owe back taxes. It said a warrant had been issued for my arrest and I need to call them at 973-556-7775.

I received this phone call on 11/20/17 at 11:04am CT. being I was at work, I was not able to pick it up immediately. I picked up the voice mail a short time later. The gentleman (with a possible Indian accent) gave me a callback number (same one above) and wished me luck if I did not call back. If you would like to conduct a sting operation, I would LOVE to call back so he can be tracked down and prosecuted.

"IRS" called and left a recorded message instructing me to call number listed, stating I am charged with fraud by the IRS and a warrant is out for my arrest and to call the number listed. I didn't fall for it and call ScamPulse.com right away.

Scammer calls and tells you he's calling about your Lawsuit. When you ask what lawsuit you are told it is about the taxes that you are in arrears. I knew it was a scam so I told him to kiss my A$$.

Called to say the IRS was filing a lawsuit for fraudulent tax filing from 2011. Since I had moved so much (which I have) their notices did not get to me. I needed to pay $4587 or else this type of evasion could result in a 5-year imprisonment.

Gave me the name of IRS agent as Jennifer Uvan ID#0266641.

I received a phone call from someone from the I.R.S.

This person told me that I was audited and I owe 9,800 Dollars.

they told me if I don't in 45 minutes the police are going to come to

my house and arrest me. They wanted me to pay electronically

through my bank.Did not give me an address They spoke in a

foreign language with names like Scott, Kevin.

Threatened my mother on the phone to take her house and everything she has, which is nothing....I know she pays her taxes....

I called them and the guy cussed me out from the get go....some fool will fall for this.

I received a message on my cell phone today. Caller ID showed phone number 315-400-4888. It was a recording. A woman stated it was the IRS. Threaten appearance before a judge or jury. Advised me to cooperate and call the number back. She said help us to help you
