I received a voice mail message that the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me and I need to call for details. I called and mid-eastern guy answered the phone and didn't really know what I was talking about so I hung up. Not sure if anyone else received a call like this before.

I received 3 phone calls from 425-616-2771. I hit "call back" and a man answered. Because of his accent, I was not able to understand the name of the business. I told him I received 3 phone calls from this number and wanted to know who it was. He hung up on me. Then I received a 4th call with a voice message which said "Team in our department is investigating you and your family. We have tried to notify you regarding this issue in previous six months but we never got any response from you so it has been considered as an intentional fraud and lawsuit has been filed under your name by the United States government. You may call our department number 425-611-2771. I repeat it's 425-616-2771 for more information before we download your case into the federal courthouse". This message was received 11/21/17 at 1428. I tried calling the number today (11/22/17) and received a message that the number had been disconnected.

And once it get expired after that you will be taken under custody by the local cops as there are 4 serious allegation pressed on your name at this moment. I just want to share with you what I think is a scam. This is not the first time I am getting this call but the other times, I was answering the phone. After I ask them for a call back number and telling them that I am recording our conversation, they hanged up. They might be victimizing other naïve people especially the elderly or could be anybody. I revived a call from this number and the message stated that I had several allegations pending against me and if I didn’t call back, I would have legal actions pushed against me. Calling the number back, I find out it is for the IRS which was not mentioned in the message. I have never received a letter from the IRS saying I owe money, so until that happens I will not cooperate with this scam. Explaining this to the man on the phone, he then hung up on me. After calling back a second time, I was connected to a lady that said she received the same call. Not sure how the lady and I got connected, but I explained the entire scam to her in hopes she doesn’t make the mistake of giving her information away. I hope someone does something about these people. I have been calling the number back non-stop trying to annoying the hell out of them. :)

I received a call from this indian man who left an automated voicemail about some debt i owed and that i would be arrested if i didn't call back and pay the amount to him. when he answered the phone i asked him what service this was. he stated it was the IRS. He then asked me my name. I instead told him that since he has my number he should be able to look up my name and he asked my name again. I called him out as a scammer and he hung up on me. I called back and asked him to answer my question. he repeatedly told me he was not a scammer in broken english. He then hung up again. I called back and told him i was going to report him and he blocked my number so i can no longer dial him. I suggest you get on the phone with him and keep him talking so you can trace his location. otherwise he will hang up and block you so you can't find him. We never got to the point of how much money i owed. So i'm going to put an amount in the lower box but it is not correct because he never disclosed an amount.Also the postal code is possibly not correct. I just put in a Portland, ME code. That is all the information i have at this time.

I got a phone message that my family and I are going to have a lien on my taxes due to tax fraud. They then gave me a phone number to call them back. I understood the numbers up to the last four numbers. I got the first and last number but had a hard time with the middle two numbers.

It may be a male or female (foreign), saying you owe federal income tax. They want your Full name and address. If you ask them for any information the y they not give it. if you call the number after hours, it disconnected. They tell you a warrant his been issued for your arrest. If you don't pay. 4:10 PM 080917 : a robotic sounding female voice (the pre-recorded announcement started when the voicemail kicked in) reer's to my tax filings, and advising I will be "Taken under custody by the local cops" (this has not come to pass) as I have "four serious allegations pressed on your name at this moment." I am advised to contact 609 323 5027 "so we can discuss about this case.

9:49 AM 080317 - a robotic-sounding male voice reciting the same message as noted above. It directs me to call a different number: 609 473 0227. Naturally, I have not replied to either message and remain at liberty.
