A nice speaking lady (??) left a message that I had a court case coming up for tax fraud and that I should call "this" number to take care of it before it went into the court. I'm sorry but I erased the message without listing the number and I don't know how to bring back a msg.....even if its possible....

What is our world coming to? So, so sad. I am 86 years old and, don't know whether the person(s) knows that and just taking advantage of me.

He called like 10 minutes ago and needed to take this number down, he said he was a police officer working for the IRS (with a foreign accent). And he said his number was IRM7275. And he said that I owed taxes from 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 and it came up to a total of $4,000. And he said I could be arrested in 45 minutes they are going to come and arrest me, they are going to freeze my bank account and take all the property I own, and I can do up to 10 years in jail. And I said is this for real, and he said yes this is for real and you can hang up if you want to, but in 45 minutes you're going to be arrested. I hung up and I told him I was going to call the IRS myself, and he told me to go ahead and call. Then I called the BBB. The caller knew my name.

I had just gotten out of my chair after sending you an email for this same thing when the phone rang. The same person (I believe) with the same msg. ......I was going to be taken to court for tax fraud.... Is there no way to stop this?. I pay for my phone, etc. and am really fed up with unwanted phone calls and messages. If it happens again I will take note as to it being from the same place and phone #. 509-288-4661

On 6/7/2017, I had 5 messages on my phone with the same statement: "Lisa Williams from Tax Audit Dept of IRS. The nature of this call is to inform you about a lawsuit which has been filed on your name. So, before we go to legal matter and send this case to the local county court house. Kindly call us back on our number which is 505-738-0554. I repeat it 505-738-0554. Thank you and goodbye." Caller ID says it is from Albuquerque NM. I did not call back.

They found fraud on tax returns amounting to $5276. Two ways to resolve 1st is to go to court with criminal lawyer cost $6000 , if I lose I. R. S. can collect $50 -60 thousand plus jail time 5 years. The other way is to pay $5276 and they will stop legal action. I asked how to pay, they will send someone to my home, I told him no because I didn't want neighbors to see it. I said meet me at the city police dept at noon tomorrow. He hung up!
