Type of a scam Employment

I was contacted over email for an interview for an employment opportunity from a company I had applied to a while ago (Graphic Design - Content Creation firm Konstant Kreative). The individual was posing as Andrea, who is their legitimate Human Resources Officer. They conducted a pretty extensive interview over Skype chat, and after a period of consideration, they offered me a letter of employment, which I accepted, as the pay and hours were great. Once I accepted the position, they emailed me an employment onboard document and a W-4, which contained a line for my social. I passed those two documents back to them, which contained all the basic person information as well as my mother's maiden name (for my job profile) and my social security number. I began to go through the onboarding a crossed-referenced their site with my experience. Though their process is an e-Interview like I had, I noticed that a huge additional part of the job process, a test project, had not been a part of my experience. I confronted "Andrea" about this, and they avoided my question 4 times. I then went onto the actual Andrea's LinkedIn, which I had verified was connected to Konstant Kreative earlier, and noticed a new social media post that warned people of a scammer that had been posing as her. The Skype IDs (Skype live:.********************) matched. I then blocked and reported the scammers email and Skype, reported a Social fraud report to ssa.*********, Experian, TransUnion, and Equifax.
