We don't have McAfee on our computer we use another security program. This is the second of these we have gotten in 6 months.

Beware, make sure you don't have credit card info floating around.

I received this email at 1:00am saying they were going to charge my account Debit that is on file with Mcafee. First off i do not use this product and 2nd they said they were going to charge 278.87 within 24 hrs. If i dispute i need to call the number 185O-666-4O63 which is our local number (area) and the address wasn't given except for California and the email address was a gmail account. So i knew this wasn't right so i called the number. I man answered with a foreign accent and all i said was cancel the account linked to the email you sent me the dumb receipt. He said he couldn't cancel anything without me providing banking or credit card info. BOOM! so i hung up and did not provide him anything. This needs to be looked into because this is absolutely wrong. They need to be stopped.

I got an email stating that my free McAfee Support and Services had been renewed successfully for 2 years and that I was charged $353.99. I actually do have McAfee but called the number to ask some questions. A man w an Indian accent spoke w me telling me it was time to renew and he could install, asked for access to my computer, which I dumbly allowed. I became suspicious, because everyone I spoke with had same accent. I looked at my McAfee account and it showed that it was not due to be paid, & I noticed that the email was from lwayservice.com, not McAfee. I shut down my computer and contacted the better business bureau. The scammers had told me that the computer would run through the night, & gave me a phone number in case I had questions. I called the number after I shut down my computer and no one answered, they called me that morning and I told them that I knew they were scammers and that I reported them. I changed all my passwords and took my computer to be serviced by professionals who knew what to do in case part of my info was hacked into.

Received invoice in my Gmail. For 499.00 approx. I did not order.

When I called the guy that answered did not identify himself by name or organization. He insisted he could not cancel without me being on my computer or smart phone

. I hung up and went to website found for the company on goggle. They answered and said they had sent nothing and they have no acct in my name . They created a ticket for this scam.

So far no money taken out of any

of my accounts. But the invoice said within 72 hours.

Sent me a email saying that they automatic renewed my mcafee for $470. dollars i do not have automatic renewel on my account and it will not expire till 2023 they said it already did not so i did not give them any info on my bankat all

I have attached an email that shows that they are trying to tell me that my "non-existent" McAfee subscription has been renewed for the next 3 years. Never had one, never will.

I got an email from what appeared to be a legitimate service I use. Long story but they were going to process a refund to my bank account so they instructed me to load deskhelpme. BIG mistake! I realized what was up but they had corrupted my computer by trying to get my password. I had to take the computer to get it wiped clean. They did not get money but be alert to anyone asking got info.

Received a email stating that my debit card would be charged. $ 293.04 for a renewal for software for a computer protection that I did not purchase. When I called the number to find out what was going on Mr Deshawn Dennis said it was for software then he asked me to login in to my computer when I tried to get more information he got aggressive and hung up.

I received an email reminder that my McAfee Annual Maintenance Service subscription is about to expire and will be renewed automatically today. Customer service for dedicated security team 1-877-706-1809. It included an order number, plan, amount 361.31/USD, payment mode auto-pay, product name McAfee Total Protection and order mode auto-renewal.

I called the number, hispanic male answered, I told him I never ordered the plan, he said someone was using my information to order and he needed information for the refund. I told him I would dispute the transaction through my bank and hung up the telephone. I remember hearing about this from a family member. I went to reply to the email to see what address came up and [email protected] came up as email address.

The scammer using the name Paul Medlock is trying to bill my debit card for a five year renewal subscription $470.00 they are sending it as a bill / invoice in my case - Invoice no: NNAS 8611671103570-2021 and Using the McAfee name.They also are using the Better Business Bureau logo in their email.I contacted McAfee at 1-866-622-3911 and reported the scam.Consumer support mcafee.com . Corporate Headquarters 6220 America Center Drive San Jose,CA 95002.

I was emailed with a fake renewal invoice for a 5 yr period $375 for a product that I have not used in over ten years. This is the second contact and sine foreigner is calling also.

I called after receiving an email saying they were renewing my $299 yearly subscription, auto renewal allegedly. I told them do not since I haven’t used their service. He said he canceled it.

Two days later I received another email saying I was charged. I had already called my bank to make sure no charges would go through. I called again to them and the guy hung up on me after I told him I was reporting him.

See attached email. States a recurring order was auto charged for $470 for 5 months of McAfee. I don’t use any virus software since I don’t use my laptop.

I got an email saying I agreed to a subscription for 499.00/ month for two years! I don't know these people! An Indian person answered the phone, wouldn't say much! It's a scam! I better not lose any money!

Got an email from [email protected] that made it look like an invoice was coming from McAfee which is a computer security system. The invoice said it was going to auto renew my plan for $373.99 so I called the number on the fake invoice right away and someone with a foreign accent answered and right away I could tell they were not with this company and I explained that I got an invoice and I did not want it to auto renew the first thing he asked me was to go in front of my computer which I did not do and said to go to a website that started with anyd and I don’t remember the rest and then he said you’re being connected to a portal and you’ll get $100 a day to have sex with people in not such nice words. I then hung up and called back and asked if he could provide what company I was calling regarding and he tried to get me to say it first I then said that I was going to report him and he said to [censored] off and I hung up. This was on Nov 1, 2021

I opened an email from who I thought was Mcafee. It stated they withdrew 346.00 from my bank account. Once we called the imposter he gained full access to my desktop. He demanded my bank account password. I would not give him my information he changed the password on my desktop so I can not access it at all. He has full access to my desktop. He said he had trashed my Pc. I have contacted Mcafee who clarified that it was not there company.
