Type of a scam Employment

I received an email from [email protected] stating that they had viewed my resume on Career Builder and would like to invite me for an interview with [email protected] via Teams. I have been on many job search engines looking for work-from-home jobs so I can focus solely on my work and school and not have to worry about transportation or any other things that factor into getting a job that I thought the email was legitimate. I honestly wish I had found the other stories before I wasted two days on an interview. The only positive thing I can say is at least I got some experience with interview questions because Mr. Antony Wagner asked all the routine, more challenging interview questions, so I did get some practice and ideas of how to answer when I have an actual interview that is real and not a scam. Hopefully, someone smarter than me will search before wasting hours of their life for absolutely nothing. How I figured out it was a scam was searching for the name of the company, which is a legit company, but up popped stories like mine. these people are using companies that are real, but they aren't employed with them, and they claim to send the equipment to me to use but say they need an Apple card for the software. When I saw that message that said that I knew it was a scam. I already had a feeling, but I wanted to believe I had finally found a work from home job I had been hoping for. I did ask him why they would need an Apple card. Why not just purchase the software the normal way? Also, why would I have to pay for my own software if they provided everything else? It's just ridiculous how lazy people are that they set up webpages and mock interviews to swindle people who just want a job. I hope this helps someone and they don't give out any kind of personal information or money. I hope the people who are doing this get shut down and get arrested like they deserve.
