Online Purchase Scam Reports & Reviews (426)

I bought an item on their website. When it finally came it was way smaller than advertised and quality was very poor. I reached out to return it and get my money back but they said there was nothing wrong with it and refused to give me my money back.

I bought something from fb from them. And I cannot track package and I emailed them 4 x. No response. Tried calling and it hangs up

I ordered and payed and never got my product

Paid for a thermal electronic crate for a couple of kittens and never received them. The website looked legit but then I realized that when you go to contact us, you can’t send an email to them.

This was an advertisement on the Facebook page. Advertising dog fence. Says it was delivered and it was not.

Business claims to be selling pallets of Amazon items returns for $34.00.

Pallets, I received an off brand pair of air buds.

I saw an add on facebook, ordered the item through paypal. When contacting the company Lamoon Limited I was told I had to send the cheap plastic item back to China when in fact it was shipped from California! I am trying to work with paypal to get my 32.96 back from the company.

I purchased Dresses from these people and Paid them $152.91 by Credit Card. Soon Afterwards they charged by Credit Card $1.53, International Transaction Fee which I found suspicious because as I quote from their Website: "Our company has two manufacturing plants in the United States, one in ********* *****r, New Jersey and the other in Greenwood, Indiana. So our products are shipped quickly, and they are all manufactured in and shipped from the United States. In addition to bolstering the US economy by increasing jobs, it also means a speedier delivery for our customers in the U.S. and other countries. What’s not to love?" This is a Deliberate Lie. They do not manufacture anything in the United States and don't ship from the United States either. After over 30 days, not a speedy Delivery I might add, they shipped a package and after inspecting the package they sloppily put a shipping label to us over a shipping label that originally came from a Far East Country, probably China as I can't tell which country as I don't read that Language. Additionally the clothes do not fit even though the label reads XL, they are not XL. I contacted them by email and told them of the size flaw and that I wanted to return them and reminded them that their Website stated and I quote: "30 Days Easy Return/Exchange" They replied with an Email that stated that we could keep the cloths and they will send us $30.00. After we rejected that outrages response, they sent us another email saying they will send us $45.00. here is my and their latest emails. First their latest: "Dear customer: I can provide $45.Will you accept it? If you accept, I will refund immediately. Thank you. Anything we can do for you, Please feel free to contact us via [email protected] Best regards Capatee 24/7 Service Team [email protected] https://www.capatee.com/ Thank you and we hope you enjoy shopping with us! If you have any further questions please contact us at [email protected]" My Email Response: : I am finding your return policy not to be very easy. Secondly, I am not Negotiating with you, I am not a 3rd party vendor and not going to resale these items for a profit. Your offers to pay us back $30.00, then $45.00 is outrageous, a very bad business practice, and very unacceptable. You were paid $152.91 and you also charged my Credit Card $1.53 an International Transaction Fee, which I find very perplexing since according to your website and I quote: "Our company has two manufacturing plants in the United States, one in ********* ******* New Jersey and the other in Greenwood, Indiana. So our products are shipped quickly, and they are all manufactured in and shipped from the United States. In addition to bolstering the US economy by increasing jobs, it also means a speedier delivery for our customers in the U.S. and other countries. What’s not to love?" So I will be happy to return them to you but if you do not want them, that's fine I will donate them to my church, BUT....I will not accept anything less than what you were paid and that is $152.91 for the items plus $1.53 International Fee. You can send a check to the shipping address that you already have on file in the amount of $154.44 without delay. I will wait seven business days as per your web site: "...arrange an exchange or a refund within 7 business days." I hope we can put an end to this ordeal however if not, my first attempt to receive my money back will be the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. Lets end this please! Looking forward to your check of $154.44. After this Email I haven't heard from them. As I have researched their so called Company. I have discovered that on their Website Capatee.com they do not provide a business address or a phone Number and the return address on the shipping Label is ** ****** ******** **** ****** ***** ** ***** This address is an Amazon Shipping Warehouse.

$1,310 was sent via Venmo as payment for the service (At owners request).

Purchased a refurbished supercharger a aftermarket pulley installed. This was ordered via a phone call Friday afternoon. This included a $300 core charge and shipping to and from my residence.

At the time of payment, Ed stated they had a core ready, but would need to order the pulley.

It has now been a year and after 45+ calls, multiple texts, and multiple emails no product has been shipped.

Since payment they stated they had lost track of my order, and no longer had a core ready and that I would need to ship my supercharger in. Reluctantly I did ship my core product in. This was sent and received. They confirmed it was received over text. 6 months later there has been little contact and no update.

I have been told multiple times the delay is from the owner being in a major car crash or catastrophic medical accident. I have spoken to both Ed the owner and Jeff, an apparent shop lead. Most recent contact with Ed he stated it will be delayed due to them moving shop and himself moving too. That was over a month ago.

There has no been no attempt to resolve in form of refund or shipment of purchased product.

Upon further research online. I found another individual who had the same situation with Ed. He filled a complaint with the Attorney General as well, and after much force received a refund from Ed 5 months after initial contact.

Scammer advertised a truck available for rent on facebook. After signing contract truck has not been delivered, rerfund has not been paid. Scammer also changed his company name to 402truckingllc and looks to be working a similar scheme.

Paid for $50 worth of clothing, that I never got. Got 3 junk rings instead

I purchased a portable monitor on 9/26/22 for around $50. I also paid for expedited shipment (from China). I received email updates and tracking information, which had to be translated but seemed legit enough. Got less believable when it took a month to get to me, but the item had been charged for right away. I received a package on 10/26 with a California label over a China shipping label. I opened it to find a silk scarf with decorative horses on it. When I went to check and see if I made an order mistake, the website was gone. I reached out to customer service and this was the response:

"Dear customer,

We are deeply sorry for this case. After we check over and over again, we are sorry to find that it is the shippers who mistook the batch of the products due to the hot sale reasons, so you have received the wrong item, we are really sorry and have a claim with the shippers. In order to make up for your loss, negotiate with our suppliers who promise that they could resend the right item to you, but to our regret, they ask for a return of the item you received. In this case, could you please go to your local post office to ask about the return cost? Our return address is: No. 167, san gan lan, Shangjie Community Neighborhood Committee, Shangjie Town, Minhou, Fuzhou, Fujian, China.

You can choose to get the full refund or ask us to resend the right item to you once the suppliers get the returned package, please offer a picture of the delivery paper and package when you return it or provide us the tracking information online (by screenshot or picture) if you return the package.

After you post the item back and provide information requested above, we will arrange a full refund right away.

In addition, could you please check whether the item is useful for you or not? If yes, how about you keep the order or send it to your friend who can use it please, we can offer you a 40% refund of your total payment immediately, which can save the hassle of returning the item to us. If you have any different ideas, please kindly tell us and do not take further action, please believe that we can help you to solve it in a short time.

Your patience will be highly appreciated, have a nice day.

Anna"

This is definitely a scam. I looked it up and it has been reported elsewhere. Shipping costs to send this back to "receive a full refund" is between $150-$200 according to USPS. Part of me knew it couldn't be true, but portable monitors are expensive and I was hoping this was for real. I reported this to my bank and disputed the claim. Hoping to get my money back.

I know this is probably a while ago but I have come to think of it because I didn’t know you could do a ScamPulse.com report online but this was in May of 2020 I had bought a few items from litsolar.com and to this day I never ever received the items I had ordered of the website it was about $200 for everything and I even sent multiple emails to the address and I was left with nothing no reply or anything I think it was horrible of them to not respond and rip me off

He tried scamming me by trying to e-transfer me and hold the funds.

Then he calls to pretend like he’s not a scammer. It’s been the same person with different number for last three times and I am scared. I feel stalked.

I saw the ad to buy a “giant 7’ tall pallet of either used or returned tools. You pay 79$ and it will be shipped from china. I tracked it and after it said it had arrived at my P.O. Box they told me nothing had come, but I. My box there was a 6”x8” box that read “mystery box”. In it was a very cheap iPhone screwdriver, a survival saw that you can pull back and forth until it cuts. And I didn’t order this. I also purchased 2 more giant pallets of electrical stuff. And I tracked it to my address and it said return to sender once it was supposed to have been here. Nobody came to my door I have ring and would know.

My son seen a sponsored ad on TicTok about this company. It said that the sold urban wear like joggers, jeans, hoodies. I purchased two hoodies for my son on June 21, 2022 for the amount of $35.85 for the upcoming school year. When we didn’t receive an purchase invoice that was the first red flag. A month went by with no update on when the package would ship, I attempted to reach out to the company to see what was going on but the website was saying unavailable on Google. As of today 9/08/2022 I have yet to receive my package or been successful with contacting the company.

When ordering an item of apparel, website says ships from USA and arrives in a few days. Actually ships from China in two months. Also guarantees to “make it right” if not satisfied with purchase. I received items that were too large to wear and wanted to return or exchange them. They refused a refund and told me it was too expensive to send back to China. They originally charged me a nominal shipping fee, but an exorbitant tax. Now I see that they hid the real shipping fee in the tax so one wouldnt know it does not ship from inside the US. Their sizing chart is very inaccurate, however, they claim that since I got the size I ordered they wont refund me. There are a myriad of misrepresentations on there website and facebook ads.

I ordered two sets of nails from Pressed by Simone during the month of August via Instagram (@pressedbysimone). We were in contact for about a week in which I sent her photos of the nails I wanted and the length. She took my payment of $120+ (which she asked me to send to her via Cash App-- $miraclenotsimone) on the 16th, told me that she would give me an update on the order on August 21st, 2022, and said she would ship it out on August 22nd, 2022. I sent multiple messages on Instagram about the order and she didn't respond but was posting on TikTok -- @miraclecapalot2.

This was a very disappointing experience.

Purchased Snowboard Bindings. Received email confirming purchase along with order number and link to Track Your Order. I received a follow-up email two days later about item being shipped but it included information with weblink in China. The link to Track Your Order does not work. Subikar website list an address in Arkansas but the telephone number 507-308-1808 is Minnesota area code and apparently not legitimate as it will not accept it above.
