This phishing email is coming several times a day. It's supposedly for a 5 year renewal of Norton service.

I have not responded to any of their links but report it or delete it.

I suspect that any clicking on any of the links (including Unsubscribe) would download ID software that would compromise

your system and gather ID info. The amount they're indicating is always $587.99 which I suspect is just under the $600 felony limits?

I would also not recommend calling their phone number either.

Example:

Greetings from PC Solutions.

Hello (my email address)

It is to inform you that your Norton service has been auto - renewed for a period of 5 years. The deduction of $587.99 will reflect in your account within 48 hours. Thank you for your payment. We strive to serve you better.

I didn't panic as I would've noticed a large transaction like that whether it would be in my bank acct or credit card. I setup notifications for each and every transactions on both my debit and my credit cards. Not to mention I know I can file fraud charges if something like that did occur. I definitely was not abt to call the number they have posted in the email either, nothin but a trap to get ur number and bombard you with other stuff.

Just really be careful everyone, pay attention to the email name that sends you stuff like that. We all know legitimate companies have an official company email with their website name. But if you're not sure then go to the official company website in another window, never ever click on those links they post. And of course double check your bank accts and credit card info, go online to check those to be sure everything is actually ok.

This company/person contacted me via e-mail sending me a fake invoice for a PC services with a payment of $597.99 that I supposed pay to them and I should contact them back if I need to dispute the mentioned payment to get a refund.

I did not know this company and didn't make any payment to them so this is fake.

- Saint Louis, MO, USA

The person sent me an email saying I owe for computer antivirus. I called the number in the email and they sent me a phone message. They informed me that I owed for an antivirus for my new computer. I hung up on them. They are frauds/scammers. The address in my email: PC Solutions, 351 Holmes Street, Datilas, TX 75215 - no such place. They are probably using info from PC Solutions in Dallas TX.

The *** **** **** *********** *** * ***** *** ***** ***** ************************, and phone numbers 866-794-5083 and 855-607-0475, and possibly 315-232-8257. I hope this helps.

- Woodbridge, VA, USA

I received an email dated 1/21/2021 from PC Solutions LLC claiming they have billed me $499.99 for a 5 year renewal of service. The email provided an invoice number which they planned to bill within 48 hours. List phone number of 1-877-791-6317 if I wished to “Cancel the subscription”, etc. I called the number and spoke to at least two different individuals...none of which would help me unless I went into my computer...so they could link with me to help cancel the service. I refused to go into my computer....continued to request to speak to billing department...round in circles. Asked them to email the “cancellation” form....which they have not as yet done. I now realize this is a scam and hope the state of Texas can assist in shutting down this scam. Thank you very much. I don’t know for sure yet if one of my accounts has been charged...but will check “yes” to question below for now.

- Fresno, CA, USA

They sent an email about a charge for Norton Family plan. Then left a phone number to call if you wanted to cancel.

- Salt Lake City, UT, USA

Rece'd an email stating that my Norton services has been auto renewed and my account would be charged $499.99 within 48 hours. There was a message to call to cancel, but I am reluctant to call that number, it is not the same as there website. I looked up the business with the ScamPulse.com and there was an alert to report any unsolicited invoices for antiviruse software. So I thought I would report it. Attached is a copy of the email I received.

Fake invoice for Norton Security Suite software with a hefty charge to my CC

- Shenandoah, PA, USA

The email i recieved said they are charging me $497.99 for Norton Security that i never purchased.

My grand daughter received an email from [email protected] notifying her that her Norton Security had been auto-renewed for 5 years from Dec. 10, 2020 to Dec. 10, 2025. She has never had an account for Norton with this company nor with any other. This fake invoice for order # 8256TGPH100505 asked her to send a payment of $492.99 to PC Solutions LLC at 3651 Holmes Street Dallas, TX 75215. Two phone numbers were provided = (844) 597-0410 and (844) 597-0411. My grand daughter thought this was a scam and asked for my help. When I called the numbers, the lines were busy! I then researched the Dallas Chamber of Commerce and found that the address was that of similarly named company. I then looked at the ScamPulse.com site and found out that the PC Solutions of TX has reported that their address has been hacked in this scam. I can now confidently tell my grand daughter that her instinct was correct and that she can now ignore this email.

- Eastaboga, AL, USA

MY husband received an email stating that his account would be charged $587.99 for Norton Security Family plan , which he never ordered nor authorized this transaction . He talked a male on the number they provided on the email . The guy was suppose to call him back at 5 pm , never heard back from the guy . Called number back and got voice mail .

- Jeannette, PA, USA

Received an email from PC Solutions stating that I was auto-renewed for Norton Family Plan for $587.99 for which I did not renew, for 5 years.

The email I got was [email protected] for a Kevin Smith. It will not let me put in the email scammer.

- Sanger, TX, USA

I received an email saying my order for Win-Def has been renewed and I will be charged $393.27 in the next few days. I needed to call and cancel my order if this didn't look correct (which I assume this is where they would get my banking/financial information). The email address didn't look professional ([email protected]) since no professional company will allow personal gmail accounts to be used by their employees for business, and "bro" should not be in a professional email address. Not only that there are 2 commas in the dates they gave, plus they didn't capitalize Geek Squad, both of which are typos (very common in scams). I added an image of the email I received so that others can know what to look out for. I have never gone to Dallas (the largest metropolitan area near me) to go shopping or conduct business, so that also tipped me off.

- Mckinney, TX, USA

I received an email telling me that I've been signed up for 5 years of Norton Security Software. This was not true and they were trying to get nearly $600 out of me.
