This person called twice before on my cell phone with caller ID shows the number is from Kingston, Jamaica. I finally answered and listened to a man stating he's from the Publisher Clearing House and I won $850, 000 and a brand new Mercedes car so I asked how did I win if I haven't enter the drawing so he says I was randomly selected by one of my receipts like Walmart so I listened to find out what the catch was and he says all they needed was a copy of my photo ID and I would have to pay 1 percent of my winnings and $360 for processing fees so they could automatically take care of my withholdings to the IRS. I asked the guy again what company he was calling from and again he said Publisher Clearing House from Queens, NY! I corrected him by telling him he was calling from Kingston, Jamaica and he denied it and said he's calling from Queens. I then told him I was going to report him and this number. The guy then later said "do you want a Jamaica guy?" "Do you want a Jamaica guy?" I hung up.

He never said his name and he has an accent like he was really from Jamaica but he was trying real hard to speak

without it. Beware of this scammer!!!$3

I received a call from Publisher's Clearinghouse from a Paul Anderson. He said I won a large prize, but would need to send $900 to them in order to receive it. I know this is a scam, because you would not need to send money to receive a prize.

I received a phone call on my cell phone. The phone number that came up indicated that it was coming from Jamaica. The person on the line indicated that he was calling from Publisher's Clearing House in New York and that I had won $900,000. To claim my prize, I was told to go to the nearest Walgreens where they had a money gram and to send more than $500 to the IRS before I could be given my winnings.

They wanted me to get $850.00 dollars in cash to pay for a 1% of the income tax of an $850,500.00 lottery I had won. I was also to receive a new Mercedes E-Series car. I was to go to Western Union and send the money by wire. As soon as they got the money as proof that I could pay the 1% I would receive my winnings.

Received a call from Robert Jones saying I had won the Publisher's Clearing House prize of $128 million. All I need to do was go to Safeway, get a prepaid card and pay the 1% which amounted to $128.00. Then my prize money and my new Chevy Malibu would be delivered to my house in Saraland. But I live in Semmes.

you'll receive a call a woman will tell you. you've won 250.00 in gift cards. and to receive this promotion. you must sign up for 6 magazines. of your choice for 60 months= 5 years. she will answer your questions and if you listen to her close she contradicts herself. it s only 3.98 a week, or 23.98 a month. its up to you how you want to pay it. she will say i need to transfer me to your supervisor to make sure I done my job right. she says put a good word in for me. this man comes on, and ask how long have you lived at your address. what is your birthday. where do you work how long have you worked at your job. then he said what charge card do you use most. and he needed the number to setup automatic billing. I ask If he could send me a invoice and I would call them back, he said no we ave to do it over the phone. I said I am sorry i don't want to be involved in any scam. he said I could look at my phone and see that there is a number there. and they don't sell the code on the back of the charge card. and he said I will be giving you a tracking number. I said said well anyone can come up with a phone number, and I could make up a tracking number and it has to be 16 digits long. So no. your getting my card information. The caller told me that I had won 9.5 million dollars in the Publishers Clearinghouse Sweepstakes. I know this was a scam because I got scammed a year or so ago and sent money for taxes and other fees to collect another bogus award. He said his name was Mr. Simms and he was calling from 702-347-2255

A man claiming to be a James Nelson, from publishers clearing house, contacted me and told me I won 650000 and a new Mercedes. Long story short he needed a 1% fee to cover a money transfer. The phone number is 1876 842 8730. When I hung up on him he left a vey vulgar message. He was obviously a non native English speaker so I don't expect him to be caught, just thought you should know

Cold call at 8:30 in the morning. Said he was from Publisher's Clearing House but did not give his name. Asked pointed questions and agreed with the answers given. However, he never offered specific info that only a legitimate representative would know. My wife took the call but recognized the scam appearance and ended the call.
