Above & beyond...is what happened the next day. I noticed there was no owners manual. Mike (come to find he was the "hands on owner") found one for me and mailed it to my house within a few days. I though that was awesome! Buying a used car never sounds good but I felt these guys at SHIFT Auto Brokers were awesome to work with & I recommend them! Five Stars guys! Thanks Mike & Emmanuel!

Called multiple times, and one time someone picked up and said just "Hello", I asked if this was Shift Auto Brokers and they said OH and hung up.
Never got an answer from any of my contact attempts. Clicked on the purchase button and they just want a copy of your drivers license straight away.

I met Enrique when I pulled up. He was gracious and very helpful. As we walked around, I could tell this family owned business takes pride on helping people.
Enrique introduced me to Mike, (Finance Manager), he was great! Right from the start, he showed me the work that their own shop had done to make the vehicle RIGHT before selling it.
Up front, honest and the kind of people you want to buy from.
I have bought and sold a number of vehicles in my life, and I can highly recommend that you give them a try - ask for Enrique or Mike. They will take good care of you.
Once SHIFT Auto Brokers had the car it took about a little over a month for the car to sell. This included time for them to do a few minor repairs, setup the car on the website and the entire sale process. They provided a weekly update and Adam even reached out as needed to check in with me. Once they found a buyer, payment was prompt and the sale was finalized after 7 days (per policy). They even gave me and my friend a $100 Amazon gift card as part of their referral program, which topped off a great experience.
Selling through SHIFT Auto Brokers was a no brainer because there was no hassle and they provided great communication, service and care in creating a relationship with me. Highly, highly recommend SHIFT Auto Brokers for selling or buying your car!
My husband and I were greeted by Bryan our concierge; he was right on time, polite, friendly and down to earth. Not at all a car salesman! (A relief). The car was ready, he let us take our time looking at the features of the car until we were ready to test drive. The test drive was great, Bryan gave us as much time as we needed driving around and testing the features.
Once we were finished, we went into the meeting room; a large spacious area with a few offices and tables. Not stuffy at all. Everything was done with Bryan; and this was the best part. No price negotiations, no pressure, no pen and paper crunching numbers and pretending to walk out because we didn't like the price. They offer a protection package and GAP, no pressure to buy. A lady from financing called us to tell us the features; but never once did she or Bryan ask us why we made our choice to purchase or not. It was the easiest car buying experience and I would recommend SHIFT Auto Brokers and Bryan anytime you are looking for a car. I wish they had been around when we bought my husband's truck 8 years ago!
Make an appointment and go see your car, you will not be disappointed.
I typically sell cars on Craigslist. I kind of wanted to "try" SHIFT Auto Brokers out, and I'm very pleased with the results.
Their model is fairly simple. They set a guaranteed price and you get that much for the car. anything above that amount the car sells for, they split with you 50/50. They do some repairs to the car at their shop (though their prices are pretty reasonable) which comes out of your share. The repairs and the inspection helps add value to the car so I was okay with it.
For me, I had 2007 Honda Civic that sold for 9k. Their guarantee was 6.4k. I figured I could have traded it in for 5k or sold on my own for 6 to 6.5k. They mailed me a check for 5.9k right away (this was the guarantee money minus the repairs of about $500). When it sold I got another check for $1.3k, making a total of $7.2k. This was at least $700 more than I could have done it on my own.
The process for getting the car was pretty simple. They came, looked over the car, filled out some contracts, and drove away with it. Ended up selling about a week a later. They were very communicative about the process, up until taking the car.
That is my one complaint with the process. We were told that we would receive constant updates about page views on the car, test drives, how the process was going. After the email telling us the listing was live, we received nothing. I watched the listing, noticed it went pending, and received nothing. I emailed SHIFT Auto Brokers and got a response that it may have been sold. A few days later and I finally got confirmation after I emailed multiple times. I was even told a check had been sent. I would have told them to wait as I was out of town, and the check was sitting on my doorstep for at least a few days.
Overall I was happy with SHIFT Auto Brokers. I don't see a need to use them again myself, though If I did have another car that needed selling I for sure would use them. I got way more money than I could have on my own and I didn't have to do anything. Hard to argue with that.

They did NOT disappoint. I put in information about my car and immediately got a call after I set up an appointment letting me know that they had ran my VIN and let me know that the quote would be about $400 less than on the website (my fault, not theirs) and asked if I would still want to keep the appointment. I said yes, and I was happy that they had called so quickly and were so transparent.
They confirmed the appointment a few times with all the information I'd need. The day-of, Hunter, our representative, came and did a quick assessment and took us along on a test drive. He was very genuine and kind. When we returned, he did a cosmetic check of the car and, after deductions but adding the $100 extra I got for selling the car at the initial pick-up and being prepared (which is a great deal!), I received the exact amount they quoted.
Since my car was still being financed, they made it very simple for me by paying off the loan directly and then having me log in to my bank to transfer the rest to me.
Their mission is to make car buying and selling a less stressful experience, and they delivered. I'm very happy with my experience and will recommend to anyone and everyone who mentions wanting to buy or sell a used car.
I can't vouch for these guys and this dealership enough - they really are the Best!
Initial Review: Daniel and his guys are the best! I was watching this small family dealer for about 4 years - finally had a chance to purchase a 2000 chevy van w 66,000 original miles for my touring career. Daniel fixed every little thing that came up AFTER the purchase. Just great to work with! The one issue I had came in 113 degree heat on the run up to Vegas - Check engine light came on - uh-oh, I thought. I read the manual, emissions/gas octane issue - I put in higher octane gas as the manual suggested: light off for the rest of the 10k trip! That's right: I just completed a 10,000 mile circuit of the US & Canada, drove from L.A. to Las Vegas, Utah, Colorado, Iowa, Mpls, Chicago, Toronto, Buffalo, New York, the Carolinas, Nashville, Memphis, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and home! Zero problems! Truck ran like a champ! I love it - Daniel is the best! Couldn't be better - Thanks Guys!
The Best!
After a long 8+ hour drive, my two sons and I arrived at SHIFT Auto Brokers in a truck in which the air conditioner was not cooling properly. I was not planning to trade in the truck because I was giving the truck to my son as his first vehicle, and he was going to continue driving it up to Denton. The car I was purchasing from SHIFT Auto Brokers was meant to replace that truck.
I asked the individual who met me at SHIFT Auto Brokers if they could do me the favor of checking the freon level in the air conditioner to make sure that it was sufficient. He explained to me that normally, they only work on vehicles owned by their company, which is an understandable rule. He did, however, offer to take my request up the management chain, and he did. The manager agreed to check the A/C and reported back that the freon level was fine but that A/C was over-taxed from its extended use. That turned out to be correct, since the A/C worked fine after giving the truck an hour to rest.
I report this incident because while the rule about only looking at their own vehicles is understandable, both of the persons I spoke with at SHIFT Auto Brokers recognized that slavish adherence to rules is not always the best approach. I really appreciate that, and so do my sons.
I would like to add that this was not my only pleasant experience at SHIFT Auto Brokers. They were not at all like most used car dealers, who frequently sound like snake oil salesmen and make you feel like you need a shower after you finish dealing with them. To the contrary, every single individual I spoke with - both on the phone prior to going to SHIFT Auto Brokers and at the physical location - was courteous and professional.
I am also impressed that SHIFT Auto Brokers conducts a thorough inspection of the vehicles they sell. They gave me an oil change, new tires, and filled up the car with a full tank of gas - something no "regular" used car dealer will do. Perhaps most important of all, I obtained a fair price on the car, and I had no problems at all driving it back down to McAllen.
So, I would highly recommend SHIFT Auto Brokers to any person who is shopping for a good used car.
This review will be a bit on the long side, simply because I have so much to say about my experience with SHIFT Auto Brokers.
My wife gets frustrated with me because I talk so often about how amazed I am with SHIFT Auto Brokers in every aspect!
I bought my first car in 1968. Back then I couldn't afford much, but since about 1979 I've purchased some very cool cars. I even bought a brand new Rolls Royce back in 1985. I've owned: exactly 10 Mercedes, Jaguar, Ferrari, Audi R8, BMW, Range Rover and several others. So when it comes to dealing with car dealerships, I feel like I've become rather expert - AND a huge skeptic of car dealerships!
When you buy a high-end car, you lose SOOO MUCH money, as soon as you drive it off the showroom floor. So the last time we purchased cars, we decided to purchase nearly-new cars with very low mileage on them. We bought an Audi R8 and a Mercedes SL63. And it turned out GREAT. No regrets.
So now it was time to sell those cars and buy two more. I happened across SHIFT Auto Brokers.com in my Internet search, and found the perfect cars for both my wife and I at the same place - SHIFT Auto Brokers.com. The cars are nearly identical to the same cars we've been driving, but just newer. A 2014 Audi R8 and a 2014 SL63 - both with about 3,500 miles on them. Even the same colors as our previous cars.
I got bids from several companies to sell our cars to. SHIFT Auto Brokers offered the highest amounts on both of our cars! And it was FAR easier to sell to them than any other company. Unbelievably simple!
And the prices for the newer 2014 cars was extremely fair.
I flew out from South Orange County, California to SHIFT Auto Brokers to look at and drive both cars. SHIFT Auto Brokers picked me up at the airport and brought me back to the airport.
I was extremely impressed with SHIFT Auto Brokers and their showroom. And without exception, every single person I've spoken with and dealt with at SHIFT Auto Brokers has been not only helpful and enthusiastic, but GENUINELY concerned about making me happy. Even after the sale they keep contacting me to see how I'm doing and to ask if there's anything that I need.
They got me great financing! Less than 3% interest rate. I had no clue that you could do that with a "used" car.
No other buying or trade-in experience I've ever had comes even close to how great, simple and fast this was. Oh...and they shipped the cars from Texas to us at NO CHARGE, and picked up our two cars at the same time. And the nice young man who delivered the cars was fabulous. He was so very, very careful with our cars.
And not only do they have their guarantee - I believe you have a week or so to drive the car, and if you don't like it, they will take the car back. They even told me several times (even after I'd purchased the cars) that if for some reason we decided we did not want the cars, they would come pick them up and truck them back to Texas at NO COST to use. Unbelievable!
Well, my wife is now also so impressed that she no longer is frustrated with me for talking about SHIFT Auto Brokers so much, and telling all my friends. In fact, I've already asked SHIFT Auto Brokers to look for a car for my daughter. I now would not think of getting her car anywhere else than SHIFT Auto Brokers.
I mentioned before that I'm a skeptic when it comes to car salesmen and dealerships. So if I was you reading this, the first thing I'd wonder is, "Why is this guy writing this review? Are they paying him...?"
