They claimed to be a delivery service and was needing package exminers found my resume on Indeed. They job required me to accept packages make sure they weren't damaged and print label and ship them back out in a timely manner. The company held back on paying for a month so that you could get properly trained etc. The Base Pay was to be be $4200 plus $35 for package done correctly and on time plus a sign on bonus. Easy side job. I got all these people calling me after I supposedly got the position one claiming to be the shipping manager, the other 2 (1)Inbound (2)Outbound Supervisors, One from accounting one from the Hr dept. They even had me fill out the paperwork for tax withholding W-4, sign a company policy, and even got a copy of my DL. They called and texted almost everyday minus the holiday's. They setup my payroll to be deposited to my card everything sounded legit. Till today, I was told that my payday would be the 10th of Jan, and woke up excited to pay some bills to nothing deposited onto my card. Now, I can't access the dashboard no one will respond to email, text, or even answer a call (says that they are busy or in meetings or just disconnected altogether. So, I called Chamber of Commerce In Butte, MT to inquire about said business, they knew the building but not the business. They put me in touch with other resources to try and find out if they are a new business or if its a scam. So for now, I'm calling scam and they got away with all my personal information bc I thought it was a legit company. They even gave me EIN employer Identification Number which I can't find on the IRS. Now, I'm really worried how I will make ends meet. Thanks to them just makes me sick that I gave it to them bc it sounded and did everything like a real company. And to boot it all, they paid of a credit card with a high balance now I have to worry that my name is on that as well. Why can't people just be honest...
