Read an article about a scam where they pose as UPS to get info from individual and ask for payment to update address information on file. Received this text this morning, only a day later. It did change from UPS to USPS, but same tactic I'm sure. I did not respond.

I received an email that appeared to be from the USPS. I used to work for the Postal Service. It looked official. That is the way they do things. They were confirming my mailing address. I provided my address. They had a package for me. They requested my credit card number. At first it said zero for shipping and handling. They need at least $50 on my card. I left it alone. It did not sound right. There is no phone number on the email. It did have a tracking number. I am waiting for a package. I do not have the mail it came from.

Below is the text message I received from the given phone number: “ [USP-Serve] - Your package has the wrong address and cannot be delivered, please update the address timely: https://hhzus-sp.com”

I received a text saying that USPS is having issues with my address and to click on the link. I check the tracking number with USPS and no such number. I knew this because I don’t have anything ordered to be sent to me. I have been getting a lot of these lately

I received a message stating I had a package that was to be delivered to the wrong address. When I visited the site from the link, it looks like the USPS website, but it isn’t. It asks for a lot of information. I then clicked off of it. I know I don’t have any outstanding packages, and this is just a another way a scammer will try to obtain my personal information.

Got scammed by this address change website. As I am a cyber researcher I was find out who was running the show, the main behind all these address change websites is:

This guy has been scamming innocent people from ages and should be exposed out in the public.

Received message as follows: User,we have a problem with shipping address, please update your information. US1896901185421 update here: Https: //usps.1st/address

I got a text message from what I assume is the United States Postal Service saying that they are having problems with my shipping address, and they are asking to update my information.

Received a Text Message from supposed USPS with a tracking number. Called to verify that this was accurate. Said USPS 1-800 number had changed. Call another number, which I did. Waited on hold for half an hour. Woman was rude and unprofessional so I hung up. Clearly this is a scam. Number is Jersey. People like this are criminals and they need to be locked up. I am sick of being held hostage in my own country. Where is the freedom when people do this?

Scammer sends authentic looking email stating a package was sent back asking for a "new address or correct the old one and to complete dispatch fees. (what does that even mean?) using the following gateway" and to click on the 'send back' button.

The email address it was sent from: kalbef@cityinnmaldives

I was contacted in text about a USPS order that could not be delivered. It asked for updated address verification and billing. I was linked from my phone to the website.

They then started charging on my accounts.

My information has now been compromised and I am concerned about identity theft.

I have put holds on my accounts and

Text was sent "alerting" me that my package was lost. When you click the link it tells you to put in your address. Then it asks for credit card information to "redirect" your package. The link directs you to what looks like the USPS official website. You know that it is fake because the Copyright date says 2020 and not 2022. Also, when you receive texts from USPS, it will tell you.
