- Wilmore, KY, USA

A text from USPS was sent to me about my "arranged delivery has been changed". I didn't currently have anything in the mail so I knew this was a phishing attempt.

- Webster, NY, USA

Received a text, two separate times, “USPS: the scheduled delivery for the package 1z37054 has been changed. Please confirm here: z1fsv.info/TB8D7NF4km”. Makes you want to click, but I looked it up and it is a scam.

"USPS: arranged delivery for your parcel 1z70982 got changed. Please verify here: z3faz.info/IGsk93trmX"

I was online shopping and expecting something from usps. I knew better and should not have open the link. As soon as I opened it was obviously a scam.

I received text claiming to be USPS with link to confirm a different delivery option for a package. I have not purchased anything that has been delivered via USPS. I read an article out of Lewiston, Id that this scam was going around and they encouraged readers to report

Scammer presenting themselves as the USPS, claiming a package (that I’m not expecting) has been rerouted and needs further action. Obviously suspicious shipment code and link attached. Did not interact with the link provided or the number associated in any way. Most likely a phishing scam.

The message said the arranged delivery for a parcel had been changed, and to please confirm here: (link)

- Mason, MI, USA

Text message claims to be from USPS and says "the scheduled delivery for parcel has been changed. Please confirm here:" Then it provides a link. I started receiving the messages shortly after I mailed a package from my local post office in Mason, MI. to an address in Minneapolis, MN.. This is the first package I've mailed in quite some time.

- Santa Ana, CA, USA

I clicked the link but it lead me to a supposedly broken page. Nothing has happened yet.

- Sulphur Springs, TX, USA

I received a text message today at 8:47PM stating I needed to confirm my delivery for package 1z30505 because the shipment has been changed. I haven't ordered anything but I'm signed up on USPS website to see any mail or packages that are being delivered to my address. On 04/14/2021 the USPS website said I was going to receive this "package" but the addressee was unknown so it was returned to sender and according to the USPS website it was returned to sender on 04/20/2021 (today) then I receive this text message. There is a link attached (z2fxc.info/6uB4yxkf23) in which I WILL NOT click on because I know I haven't ordered anything and I work in the finance industry to where I know better. How did they get my address and phone number to text me? I'm not sure but I can guarantee you IT'S A SCAM!!!

- Shreveport, LA, USA

I clicked the link but I immediately closed it.

“USPS: the arranged delivery for the package 1z72566 got changed. Please confirm here: z1fsv.info/TB8D7NCLiE”

Is the text I got, don’t answer it.

- Buffalo, NY, USA

Text says delivery for parcel has changed and provides a link to click to confirm. I did not click link

Test messages from USPS claiming "USPS: the arranged delivery for the parcel 1z46808 has been changed. Please confirm here: z1fsv.info/TBbZf11OZt"

Scammer sent text message saying my purchase date of a package was changed and to click the link to confirm the date change. I copied and pasted the full message into my browser and a fake amazon page was created attempting to get me to fill out a survey. The page looked like amazon, but you couldn't navigate anywhere besides the survey. The webpage url was .php (which is a coding language), which helped me to spot it as a fake.

- Windsor, CO, USA

Shortly after I placed an order on Amazon , I received a text from USPS saying my delivery was updated and I needed to click the link to confirm, so I did.

It took me to an Amazon webpage and they asked me a few questions as I was a “winner of the day”. The little lock on the url bar was closed so it made me think it was a secure web site, the text came from USPS, brought me to Amazon. All seemed legit. But it was weird that they would ask my info since I have an account with Amazon, then I realized I couldn’t click on the “three bar icon” in the corner to see if I was logged in or not, nor could I go back to the previous page.

It scary to think they can go that far :(

Received a text:

USPS: the scheduled delivery for the shipment ******* has been changed. Please confirm here: ********************* Didn’t realize it was a scam until after I clicked
