they try to get you to purchase their home extended warranty and when you say you're not interested they connect you to a manager and this person would not take no for an answer. i must have been on the phone with him for 10 minutes indicating that i was not interested and he kept pressing and trying to sell me and i just kept saying no, no, no, until finally i just stopped talking until they ended the call. very passive aggressive and unprofessional. i felt it might be a scam at this point

Several letters arrived by regular mail extending a supposed warranty that my car had that was about to end... wanting to charge me 300 dollars for no longer paying the warranty... I called the number provided there 1 888 413 6075 and as soon as they answer they ask for your name and model of the vehicle without first presenting the name of the company and that is what made me suspicious

Description matching the incident I'm responding to. We only received the letter and did not call the number provided as it looked like a scam. I reported here for your trending purposes

I received a letter in the mail. I did not call that number as I have home warranty with a reputable company and my service does not expire until December. So I looked it up and found this scammer notice on the ScamPulse.com site.

My elderly mother received mail about a warranty for the house expiring and they included the name of the mortgage company. Roxann Vrino tried to frighten her into paying $295 immediately telling her mortgage company required it. And then 217$ for 18 months. She refused to allow my mom to try to talk to anyone about it before paying it, she told her NOT to contact the mortgage company because they would just make her call them back. My mother was in tears thinking she was going to lose her house. I’m glad I was able to talk to my mom before they strong-armed her into making a payment with money she didn’t have.

Received suspicious looking letter in the mail indicating my “property’s home warranty secured by my bank may be expiring or may have already expired”. “Please contact our office at

(800) 933-9818 within 21 days of receiving this notice.”

Pretended to be from Freedom Mortgage. I called and told them I was not interested in their product. They said my warranty was expiring and I needed to update it immediately, in which I said "no," I called Freedom Mortgage and they are aware of this scam.

sent me a letter stating to call for my vechicle recall- listed turbo charger for 2,500, ignition switch for 1,3000, fuel system 600, abs control unit. All police’s come with 24 hour roadside assistance towing

- Denton, TX, USA • Jul 21, 2024

A letter imitating an official document from the "Vehicle Services Division" with a notice that it was my "final notice" was sent, requesting my response, which would include VIN and mileage on my car, within a week. There is no actual company name listed on the document or the envelope. The make and model of the vehicle listed are a vehicle which I recently purchased, so they are obviously harvesting this information from state or county records, then trying to panic someone into replying to this "final notice" before some nonexistent warranty expires.

I received a post card in the mail at my home address. Post card had no return address or name of sender. States "Final Notice" in red letters and says to call 1-855-638-0241 and reference Claim #94493947. The man who answered had a middle eastern accent and stated the company name was The Redemption Center. I asked for address multiple times and all he stated was location was Phoenix, AZ, after requesting the company address multiple times, he was typing in background, he finally gave me a physical address which when I looked it up was not an address for any such business. Stated i would receive a $100 gift voucher good at many stores including Walmart and Target and all I had to do was pay $2.49 processing fee. I ended the call. Only identifying piece of information on postcard is that it has a pre sorted postage paid permit 492 04101. I will keep the postcard should anyone with the bbb would like a photo of it.

Asked for account number he didnt know Asked how he knew and he specifically said his company was the only licensed warranty company in my state and he was notified I asked for his license number. He said he didnt have it. Asked to speak to supervisor. Devan got on the phone. Didnt understand why I needed lic number. Explained that I could look them up with a license. Said he didnt have it. I asked why it wasnt on the notice he said he doesn't mail them out so he doesnt know Do I want the warranty or not. Told him I looked him up here and he went off about how cooked ScamPulse.com was. I said them license number would be fine . This call was recorded. He got nasty and said because I kept asking he wasnt going to give it to me. Long story short This company has been sending this to my house for 2 yrs. Each time I was told I would never get another one. Today they claim even though the phone number, amount , style is the same and the physical location they are different company. They are located in a suburb of St Louise MO

4Ever Home misrepresented themselves as associated with my mortgage company the Navy Federal Credit Union. A sales representative "Chase Carroll" repeatedly stated when getting me to RENEW a home warrantee that my radon mitigation system was covered. When I went to put in a claim, their claims department said it was not covered and that it was not a renewal but a new policy. Only when pressed, a manager "Patrick" stated that there was no coverage for the first thirty days. When pressed they informed me that they had 5 to 7 business days to mail me the policy which would explain what was covered and what was not. They also said they had no relationship with the NFCU and had no relationship with my original home warrantee company.
