Kassandra represented herself as a KLM representative.
Our trip started April 29, 2023 arriving in Amsterdam. When I tried to check in to our AMS to MXP flight on May 2, 2023 via the KLM app, I received a message that that booking code was not recognized. 2ZRHGX. I also tried to check in on our Flying Blue account number and was unable to. My husband and I tried to call the Viking Air emergency number and we received a message that it was after hours. (877-523-0576). I then used google to find the KLM 800 # so I clicked on the number shown(844-679-0146) @ 5:22am I was on the phone with them for 50 minutes.
I spoke with Kassandra ,who REPRESENTED herself as a KLM representative. I told her I was having trouble checking in, and if she could help me.
She then told me:
1. There were no tickets issued. So you do not have a reservation. I asked how could that happen when I have a receipt for our upgraded seats? She then said, " that doesn't matter, you don't have a ticket on the flight".
2. She then told me I needed to purchase the tickets, I had better buy them now because there are very few seats left, and if I waited to pay for them at the airport, there might not be any seats left, and that the tickets would be more expensive.
3. If your itinerary is interrupted it would cancel all of your return flights, so you won't have any return flights home they will all be cancelled.
So I had no other choice, I had to purchase the tickets. She then had me pay again for the upgraded seats. I had paid for seats 11A and 11 B (receipt attached) Then got charged again for seats 6A and B.
She then proceeded to change all of my other upgraded seats, I told her I had already paid for the upgrades, she then said "don't worry you will get a refund for the changes in the upgrades"
She then sent me an email with this letter head to confirm that the flights are correct

Once we returned home I contacted Way Fare Destinations
I called KLM on May May 24 ato 0545 am. I spoke Anna. She told me that the tickets" From AMS MXP
BCN to Phx had been EXCHANGED." She advised me to file a dispute and to also contact Way Fares Destinations.
I called Way Fares on May 24 st 0619am to dispute the claim I spoke to Allen Jones having to go over the entire conversation with Kassandra, he advised me that a supervisor would call me back within 30 minutes. I never received a call back.
ON May 26th I called Way Fares again, a man answered, I had asked for a Supervisor he then replied "oh is this Margaret?" I said "YES" I was transferred to Kassandra.
She told me that she had booked me on a different flight than my original, and that was what I purchased. I said no that it was the same exact flight, the only thing she had done was exchange our seats.
She then asked me what I wanted, I told her I wanted a refund. She said no, that I bought that ticket and had flown on it so there was no refund. I explained to her that if we couldn't resolve this I would contact an attorney, she then told me "go ahead we have attorneys here too"
I then asked her for an itemized receipt. She then told me that she would have to listen to the "tapes" review them with her supervisor and that it would take 48 to 72 hours before I would be notified.

If you have accidentally purchased an airline ticket through this company, immediately contact your bank or credit card company and explain that you were tricked into believing you were purchasing tickets through the airline you though you were booking through. Trying to get a refund from this company will not work because it is a scam and not a legitimate company.
