I received a message on Weather channel app that Amazon is offering the chance to win IPad Pro if I participate in brief survey regarding their services. After taking survey I found out that did win IPad, and they needed my name, address and credit card # for delivery charges. I was charged $19.99 to the following entity: BSTNBKSCOM. When I attempted to return to their website today, I was informed that server is not found.

He called and said he was from Amazon and they took monies from my account and were refunding it back. They opened online banking with my userid ss# password. I called bank to cancel any transactions. They tried opening my cash app. Please stop them.

I called to get an address change on an order I just placed. They told me I would have to purchase a google play card call them back with a validation code and then they will change the address. Called back again and the want me to confirm my number so someone can call me back. They also know what I have on my order.

This number is what comes up on google when you search amazon.

I got a call from a customer service number that I thought was Amazon, to ask about some charges. She asked what amounts I was concerned about. I gave them to her. I may have given her my name and credit card number. ( I have since changed my Amazon password and deleted info for cards from my Amazon account.)

She told me someone had been accessing my account from Cal, Texas, and Mexico. I was pretty shaken up.

Then she asked me to go to a Walmart or a couple of other stores and buy an Amazon card, and she’d stay on the one with me while I went there. That was nuts, so I hung up.

Received a call from "Amazon" stating someone tried to purchase an iPhone from her account and needed an okay from her. She explained she doesn't have an account with Amazon and the person on the line said thank you and hung up.

2/16/21 This scammer left several recorded messages on my phone. Today I answered the call and it was the same recorded voice saying suspicious activity was found on my account and to press 1 to speak to someone. After pressing 1, person with a thick accent asked how they could help me. I said “You just called me”. He fumbled with his words and said he was, James Jordan, calling from Amazon. Suspicious activity had been found on my account. He asked if anyone else used my account and I said no. He wanted to help me straighten out the problem because someone was using my account details to try and buy a new iphone. He directed me to the Apple App Store and wanted me to download the app AnyDesk. I knew he wanted to get remote access to my information and I refused. I asked why he just couldn’t take care of the issue on his end. He raised his voice when I said I wasn’t comfortable with giving him access to my phone. He said he wasn’t asking for any personal information, he was just trying to help me. In a louder voice he said the only way to solve the problem was to download the app so he could straighten out the security issues. I said no and hung up.

These people keep calling me from that 703-899 number and different ending 4 digits and telling me that a fraudulent charge has been put on my Amazon account. It’s so annoying cuz I can’t block every number

Sent email below reporting significant charge on my Amazon account being sent to a Florida address. Invalid! This is an Amazon imposter scam! I spent 20 minutes trying to report this. May need a better way, BBB. Or please get on top of cyber scammers, foreign & domestic. I got the email below, all info within it is false:

Amazon is going to deliver a package to the house and the customer needs to pay for the package once it arrives. Let caller know they have never ordered from Amazon and to stop calling.

I keep getting calls from Amazon. They say Amazon but I don't think so. They say there was a problem with a purchase I made that was over $200 and to press one to connect with someone. I did press one but no one was there. They were probably busy trying to scam someone else. They continue to call here.

This happened 8/20. Rec'd email from Amazon with a "large purchase" $1999. for a computer. VERY AUTHENTIC-Looking. I called a tiny phone number at bottom of message "Any questions?" [BTW, I'm not easily scammed]. When I called the number,, I was on the phone talking to Amazon Fraud Dept., to deal with the scammers/fraud. Eventually let them in to "remote" my PC, while I watched. Very authentic Interpol, CIA live documents, maps, etc. After several hours, he transferred me to a co-worker who would replace the money that was charged back into my Amazon acct. I began to get a bit suspicious at this time. Since I had been talking the whole time with the first guy, I had asked questions about how they got into my account. He said the scammers can drive by and pick up signals from home wifi modems/routers, so I didnt think I could safely use my landline, cell phone, or devices. I drove to the Bank branch as soon as they opened the next morning. WHILE I was sitting with the bank manager, the scammers attempted a wire transfer for $5000. I reported to local police as I was instructed, who said they couldn't do anything because I caught it before actually losing any money. (I later did find $200 gift certificate and 2 more things that had been saved on my desktop were missing.)THE "AMAZON FRAUD DEPT" WERE THE SCAMMERS! I replaced all my bank accounts and credit cards. Geek Squad found programs on my PC added by hackers when they scrubbed it. I called Amazon. They sent me an email to say they don't have a Fraud Dept. The email they sent looked exactly like the first email i received from the scammers--down to the logo, the format, etc.

VERY CONVINCING SCAM!! I felt foolish.

Recorded message of a woman saying I was going to be charged for an iPhone ordered off Amazon, and that they had my debit card, or "plastic card" information on file. I pressed the button to speak to a representative. Knowing it was a scam I said "Great. When will my new phone be arriving in the mail?" They hung up on me.
