E-mail confirmation of $199 for Amazon Prime membership, which I did not order.

- Clanton, AL, USA

I continue to receive this email from Amazon prime trying to get me to update my credit card information before my account is locked. This is not Amazon.

- Wichita Falls, TX, USA

I got a call saying there was fraudulent activity with my Amazon account. I don't have an account.

- Garden Valley, ID, USA

Robocall announcing there was a fraudulent purchased placed online under my account in the amount of $866.00. Press 1 if didn't make purchase. After pressing, there was a foreign (sounded Indian) operator that came on the phone and said that I had called, not the other way around. When I asked if it was a scam, the person said that I had called them (which I hadn't). The call then ended.

This email told us there was a problem with our account. I was to click a button to update our account. When we clicked on it, it asked for my social security number! That was a red flag for us!

Consumer received a call from Dave Parker claiming to work Amazon, he stated he was calling in regard to her account stating that her account was hacked from Houston and California in the amount $674.00 and wanting to help her get her money back. Dave gave her her old credit card number and when she told him it was an old one he asked for her new one, consumer refused to give the number. He asked her to go to safeway and get a ebay gift card while he was on the phone. He told her it would be about 100 dollars but that if she got a receipt she would get her money back. Consumer started seeing red flags. She was trying to hang up and he kept trying to keep her on the line. She said she had to go because it was her home phone. Dave sounded surprised as he thought she was on her cell phone. Dave gave her a gave her a code to put in for quicksupport > it gave him access to her phone so he could see her banking info and everything she is doing on her phone. Call was ended She called the bank and is going to the phone store to have them get a new sim card.

He wanted our business name and place. He said he is from Amazon and we bought a $5-- iphone. He was from Amazon billing.

I've received an email from the unwanted messages from A M A Z O N . C O M that I purchased two items that I didn't make. I called that phone number to report a fraud. The caller gave me a security code to freeze the account. The caller wanted me to buy a blocking card at local stores, but the local stores didn't have any. So the caller wants me to get three Ebay gift cards and pay $600.00 to solve my problems; therefore, I hang up.

Call stating "This Amazon calling about your order for the new Apple I-Phone 11 - press 1 if you wish to cancel." I can just imagine how many people would press 1 without thinking about it. I do not know what the result of pressing 1 would be but it must do something that people do not want on their phones or charges what ever the program is designed to do. I thought that it would be good to put out a warning or if someone in the know could investigate. I can not state if it is ID theft, money grab attempt or what the result will be, but with a rapid disconnect after the request must be assuming that someone would press 1. We live in Idaho but the cell is an Oregon Area Code

I answered a call on my cell phone. The caller said that he was with Amazon. He did not give his name. He said someone has linked into my account for an i phone. $700. He asked if I was near a computer. I went downstairs to my friends computer. My friend questioned this. I became suspicious. He said somebody got to my password. I asked for a supervisor. Then the same man got back on the phone. He called from phone number 530-329-5244. When I questioned him he hung up. I called Amazon and reported the scam call. They were aware of this.

Email states my account has been suspended and I need to update my payment information.

- Los Angeles, CA, USA

I haven’t clicked on the link, but also as someone who orders a lot from Amazon I’ve never seen this number. I also don’t have the specific name they’re referring to me as on my amazon packages or account.

- Pensacola, FL, USA

Received a call and they left a message saying they already debited my account for $299 for my Amazon Prime account which I know is $99. If I wanted my account to be credited I would need to call them back. When I called back a man told me I would need to be in front of my computer to have the money credited to my account. I asked the man his name and he said his name was Donald Trump. I then told him nothing had been debited from my account and that I believed he was being untruthful he then said I'm busy and hung up. Now they have my phone number and I wish I would have never called him back.

- Dunedin, FL, USA

They contacted me by text and in that text it said, hello mate your amazon package with tracking number 1zh2j8e78412621419 is ready for you to set delivery instructions at H4emv.info/1cja0Zd7jb. I got two of these texts I received the first one yesterday on January 30th and the second one today on the 31st.

I answered a suspicious call on my home phone. The caller stated they were with Amazon. He said you have a phone here for $900. I told him I don't have an Amazon account. I did not order a phone. He told me to go onto my computer to do something. I don't know what. I got back and told him I would call the police. He had asked my name. My caller ID showed 209-488-1843.

I’ve been getting random text messages about a delivery coming from Amazon, but I don’t have anything coming from amazon. I know I don’t have anything expect because I’ve only ordered from amazon twice and received both orders already! I expect that the link that they’ve provided in the text message is a way to get all your information! Be aware!!

- Boise, ID, USA

I received a text message wanting me to approve/accept an amazon order - I deleted the text when I was addressed as “mate”?

This morning I received another text stating my Amazon delivery of 4 items will be delivered To my address on Jan 27,2020 by 8:00 pm!

I have deleted that text as well! SPAM!!

- Perry, GA, USA

I received an email from Amazon stating my payment info needed to be updated to pay for my Amazon Prime account . I don't have a PRIME account! The email address is close to an Amazon address but I don't think it is real. The email also has an attachment. I didn't open it either. The email looks so real but at the bottom of the page, the address doesn't look like the real Amazon invoices that I have received.

This is a scam because they wanted me to purchase gift card totaling $500.00 each then take picture of the card then send it to them.

Could not use any other type of monetary value to purchase vehicle.
