Amazon Reports & Reviews (921)

They called me asking for my mom. Said she had a pending charge for an iPhone and needed to confirm the charge. Starters, my mom doesn't live with me, nor does she have an Amazon account. I hung up and called Amazon customer service and confirmed it wasn't them who called. Amazon said to report it here

Received a text message from an unknown number claiming to be Amazon and that I had won Airpods. I reported the text immediately as "spam".

was an automated call to my cell phone telling me someone had made a purchase with my card that was fraudulent and they wanted me to speak with one of there customer service people. i hung up the phone instead cause i dont even have an amazon account to begin with so im here now making sure this doesnt happen to someone else

Said I was a raffle winner. Wanted to me to click the link.

- Bolton, NC, USA

I received this text message, but I haven’t entered any contests and haven’t heard of Amazon having any sweepstakes...

Amazon: Congratulations *name*, you came in 2nd in today's Amazon pods raffle! Follow this link to : b3gmr.info/fNNbejr7oH

I did not click the link.

- Kokomo, IN, USA

I have no information other then the text message. Everyday I receive at least one text message trying to induce me into clicking a link. I block the number but they just text from another number. Had I clicked the link, I have no doubt they would have tried to get money or retrieve my personal & financial information.

- Waldron, AR, USA

Received a phone call telling me that I purchased an iPhone for 1399.99 and to get that refunded I needed to be in front of my computer. I said I didn't have one and the guy said "don't worry ma'am I will handle this for you", then hung up.

Amazon phasing scam. Says you've won an iPhone after you have taken a survey. Contacted via cellphone. Look for weird-looking link.

This scammer sent a text claiming that I won a raffle through Amazon. I supposedly won an iPad Pro but they were %100 scammers! Amazon doesn’t give away free iPads...don’t fall for this one!

Text says I came in first place for Amazon Pods and included a link to redeem my prize.

Amazon: Congratulations (name here), you came 1st in this week's Amazon pods raffle! Click this link to : a2gcv.info/hOfCSDaZ7Z

- Littleton, CO, USA

I received this text on April 24, 2021:

“Amazon: Congratulations *my name*, you came in 2nd in today's Amazon pods raffle! Click the link to : a3gsz.info/F600P1iSr2”

This is the second amazon prize scam text I've gotten. I am cautious about not letting my information get out, so it's alarming that they have my name and number. I didn't click the link and went straight to reporting it on ScamPulse.com scam tracker.

I have had messages before from them telling me I won a tv! I wonder once you get on AARP list if they come after you hard? I never return a call to these scammers

- Jupiter, FL, USA

I received a text message that said I won the monthly Amazon pods raffle with instructions to click a link in the text. I did not click the link. However my phone did send a text read receipt to the scammer.

THEY SAID IF DIDN'T SPEAK TO ONE OF THERE REPRESENTIVE'S THAT MY CREDIT CARD OR BANK CARD WOULD BE BILL 799.95

Received a text that said:

Amazon: Congratulations xxx, you came 3rd in March's Amazon pods raffle! Click the link to :

Another message saying that there was a $499 charge that they stopped because I thought it was suspicious. They come from all different numbers this one actually was from Ortega rice according to caller ID
