Asked if I received a letter awarding me a prize he mentioned $7,500,000 .

And now I have to first pay them $150,000 for taxes.

I said that I'm supposed to receive the prize first and then I pay the IRS.

SUBSEQUENTLY he hung up.

Scammers posing as IRS agents. Phony IRS number obtained by calling directory information! (888-502-6083). I called, or thought I called the IRS to update my direct deposit info for federal tax refund and got this. I called to find out why tax refund is so late and was told the IRS w[censored]ding my refund because they supposedly got a fax from American Cash Rewards that I had won a large sum of money. Now, I have to change my account info and debit card info at my bank because these [censored] have this info from when I thought I was talkiing to the IRS. So-called winnings would not be sent until I shell out $2,842. for "fees", "registration", etc. Do NOT fall for this. I did some homework onliine and figured out I should not be paying anything for a "prize". So I am not giving them one red cent.

These scammers call my phone over and over on a daily basis. They told me I won a cash prize but needed to buy vanilla cards and put different dollar amounts on the cards to win my cash prize. I have been cursed at and mocked. I have put out thousands of dollars and no prize given to me. I believe they are from another country as they all have the same accents. I want this company to be shut down. They are thieves and need to be brought to justice.

I received a phone call from 'Mike Henry' supposedly from American Cash Awards and he told me I had won 2.5 million dollars and a new 2021 C-class Mercedes and $4k per week for life. He gave me a package code number and said that I needed to be "properly licensed and registered" for a fee of $850. I was to send the money for the fee via registered overnight USPS to this name and address:

German Perez

209 Ralph Avenue Apt 1C

Brooklyn, NY 11233

He called back a little while later and asked if I had sent it, I told him I thought it was a scam and I had checked the BBB. He hung up on me.

I received a call stating I had been selected to receive a cash award that included 685,000 cashiers check, 150,00 bonus prize, and $5000.00 check every week for the rest of my life. They then went on to tell me that all I needed to do to collect the money was to pay them a 1% processing fee, which I seen as a red flag and disconnected the call.

Phone number came up as being from Jamaica, I answered the phone and the guy told me his name was John Green and that I was grand prize winner for the month and that my name had been selected from all the entries. I told him I had not entered any sweepstakes. He told me I had filled out a coupon at the grocery store, paid with a credit card or paid all of utilities on time. To which I informed him I had not filled anything out at the store, I do not have any credit cards and all of my utilities have not been paid on time always. Then he proceeded to tell me I had to purchase a $50.00 Revenue Stamp so that they could deliver my prize. He asked when would be a good time for them to deliver it and I said that I was not purchasing something to get a prize I had won. I then told him that they could call the next person because I did not want the prize as I was sure this was a scam due to having to pay for a prize I won. He then told me it's not a scam but that to get my prize of over $10 million dollars I had to purchase this revenue stamp. I told him again that he could pick the next person and I hung up, hoping they do not call me back.

James Conrad contacted me, claiming that I had won $2.6 million from American Cash Awards, and that in order for me to received my award, I had to send them $550 to cover expenses for taxation. When I told him I did not have anyone to borrow that amount of money from, and I did not have any financial assets to cover the expense; he told me that was OK, because if I gave him the name of a relative who could be a sponsor for me, that would suffice. He assured me that the designated sponsor would not have to pay the taxation costs. Then, several days passed without hearing from him, so I called him back. Then, he told me that the company would not accept using a sponsorship, because of the COVID pandemic (?). When I asked him for his email address, he told me that he didn't have one, because the one he had had been hacked into. When I asked him for the email address of the company, he began to insult me, telling me I was crazy, that is why I was broke and that I was wasting his time. He continued to insult me, with words that made it clear to me that not only was he a lying scammer, but also a racist. I want this company to be shut down, so they are not able to scam anyone else. Therefore, I will also report them to the FTC and the FBI.

I received the call about 9:30am & rep wanted my name, info....asked him who he was representing, which was American Cash Awards & we've won a large cash sweepstakes, I hung up immediately. Then they kept calling continuously for about 20 min, when I answered each time, I said not a word, then hung up. Each time I did this. Then, about 1:30pm they called again, when he asked for my mother in law, I suspected a scam again, told him she's deceased. He asked me if I was a relative, I said yes. Then I asked who he represented, same answer "American Cash Awards", & would I be interested in the large Cash award, etc. I said "NO" & hung up..

Was first contacted by David Clark, Badge number 09975, who said I won $3.5 Million Dollars and a new car. First I thought he was with Public Clearing House but the connections was bad and he was asking some weird questions. I had to repeat the answers several times. He eventually passed me off to his supervisor, name I didn't catch, who explained that in order to comply and receive my money and a brand new Mercedes was to go to Dollar General and and purchase a $500 eBay Discount Card. Again I asked who did he represent and this time he stated American Cash Awards Sweepstakes which I have never heard of. When I stated there was something suspicious he stated if I didn't want to except they would go on to the next person, when I stated I needed more info or where I could go to validate what I was telling me he ended the call.
