They called and said I won 2.5 million, a Mercedes, and $7,000 a week for life. All I had to do was get a $500 Amer Express card for CVS. I can't believe I fell for this. But I did and after 2 hrs on the phone, they wanted $10,000 before they could deliver my prize. I said no and hung up. Then I checked my Amer Express card and the $500 was gone. The phone number is 806-402-6492 !

My mom 85 years old was called several times that they needed the tax and fee of $600 for her to receive a prize of 2.5 million. She sent money by UPS and thought it was legitimate. The man even called and said he was at the bank getting cash. Every call was so convincing. Man’s name was **** *****, Presenter; ****** ******, Driver

Below is a photo where She sent the money $600 by UPS. She was so upset that she was scammed.

A few days ago I was called and informed that I had won 1.5 mil in some International Prize contest. Told them I wasn't interested and hung up. They called back. I told them to call my local police dept and have them call me. They said fine and asked three times if I had caller ID. They said I'd be able to tell that it was from the police by the caller ID. My neighbor's teenager had shown me how one can get the caller ID to show any number and identification they wish so I knew that's what the scammers were going to do. Soon I got a call showing the emergency number in another town through which our town's emergency calls are routed. The person, with the same accent as the previous callers, tried to say he was from our police dept but he couldn't pronounce the name of our town. I told them they were busted and to leave me alone. Caller ID said Bronx NY.

Today I got a call from American Cash Awards saying they had 1.5 mil they had been trying to deliver to me but that someone had red flagged my account and cancelled the delivery. I hung up twice and he kept calling back wanting to set up a time to deliver my "prize." I told him I didn't want anyone coming near where I live and he could set up the delivery at our police dept. He said fine and he'd contact me later with the specific time and date. I'm clearly on some list and I wish I could get them to leave me alone! Caller ID said Brooklyn NY.

American Cash Award called and wanted to speak to my husband. She said he had won 2.5 million dollars and they would make an appointment to bring it to him and would go to the bank and have a certified check okayed to make sure the 2.5 million dollar check was good, and then he would have to pay $795.00 for processing fees She gave me her name ** and telephone no. 876-853-8803. I asked for her bosses no and name,. she gave me **, I doubt if that is his name, and tele # 876-850-6023. It really sounded good. She got agitated when I started asking her questions and said if he did not return the call it would go to charity. If it goes to charity, then who pays the fees?

On 04/24/2020 we received a phone call at 1222 in the afternoon, his name was Benjamin Church. He wanted us to go get a "registration" card, One Vanilla Visa card from Walgreens or CVS. He said they were registered with Homeland Security and would stay on the phone with us until we have the card in hand. He continued to try to get the money out of us until finally he started cussing and told us that he was charging our phone bill this whole time. All of this was after he had called my son 10 minutes before calling me. He obviously was going through the phone numbers because my son and I have the exact phone number with the exception of the last number which is just a couple off from each other.

This is the voicemail message that was left twice in one day.

American Cash Award is the name of the company of scam. They did not want to tell me the name of company I had to keep asking. They threatened to show up at my door and called repeatedly (back to back). They are requesting money to be sent to them and that I would be given back a large amount more of money. They are relentless with their calls trying to get money sent to them. The number they gave me was a texting app number, not a real one. This began on February 4th and I was scammed out of money. I sent a money order to Kissimmee, Fl and also Kingston, Jamaica.

David Banks called me saying I had won 2.5 million dollars and a dark blue Mercedes car all to be delivered to my home this evening. He told me to go to the Post Office and pick up a claims receipt which would only cost $54. It is 4:30 now. He said the money and the new Mercedes Benz would be delivered tonight at 5:30 pm. He said to send the $54. to *** Evans at

*** *** *** Detroit, Michigan 48201 I spoke to the Post Master in Medway, Ohio and she said she had never heard of a claims receipt. She advised me not to call him back and not to answer my cell phone if he called me back. I am not going to answer his call again. I know this has to be a scam. Too bad it isn’t.

I first received a call from a man claiming to be from the ScamPulse.com in Maryland and asking if I had been informed I was selected to win $100,000. When I said no he told me he would contact this company to call me to get my money. He had only been calling to inform winners of scammers contacting them to take their winnings. The company called with a number from Nevada and told me again what the man before had discussed and said he would call me again. When I looked up the site I found a facebook page for them, but the logo they are using is from an insurance company in Asia that has been around for 60+ years. These callers are obviously scammers and you should not give any personal information to them.

We received a phone call from Robert Lewis regarding a $5.1 million in sweepstakes, and a Mercedes Benz car, plus a Jeep Wrangler. All we had to do, was come up with $1000 for service fees and the prize would be ours. However, we were told NOT to bring the cash, but deposit the money in another person's account at Wells Fargo Bank. PLEASE BE AWARE, these people DO NOT work for this company, and DO NOT pay out of pocket money to get a prize! IT IS A SCAM!

Was called on my cell and told I had won 2.5 million and a new ‘19 Mercedes all I had to do was pay $135 at a Walmart to Walmart transfer and I would get some receipt to show the ups driver when he showed up just 3 hrs later. I told him straight up I thought it was a scam and he went so far as to text me 9 picts of the new car I was going to win, one is attached. After that he wanted to know how long it would take me to gather up the funds, I told him about an hour. Here his tone changed a bit, he went from calling me “my friend” to “honey” I didn’t react to it, I should have, it kinda creeped me out, but I just let him ramble on just to see how far it would go. Now I missed my hour call back cause something really did come up so I don’t know what he had lined up from there. Before we got off the phone for the hour it was going to take me, I asked him where his company was located, he said the main office was in Texas and they had other offices in several states including Alabama. (how convenient!) I also asked for the name of the company again and he said “American Cash Awards associated with Publishers Clearing House” that was the first time he had mentioned PCH. So that’s when looked the business up and found the scam info. Oh well, too good to be true!!

Mr. Dyson called me early this am claiming I had won a sweepstakes in the amount of 8.5 million dollars. Afterwards he said to receive this award I needed to go pick up a card & a receipt from the closest Walmart in the amount of $1500 dollars. If I didn’t have that I should pick up a $300. Cash card. I informed him that my daughter has a Masters in Criminal Justice and she told me that this was a scam. He became belligerent and I hung the phone up. He continues to call me with the explication of the need for me to keep this private. I blocked his number.

Constant calls almost every week. To validate calls, ask me to call back on the number given to show he could be reached at any time. I was told about all the money and other gifts, but the company was not asking for any money from me. His name, David Washington is the same person that has called me for the past 5 or 6 years . Of course, he denied this. This name has called me from Jamaica, Washington DC, different states, etc. Numbets have been blocked but calls are still made almost every day. What is the American Cash Awards? Does it exist ? Is there such a place in Greenville, N C? *** *** ** ** *** ** ***

I received a voicemail message on my cell phone 4/11/2019 from a man identifying himself as James Bell. He claimed that I was the 2nd place winner in the American Cash Awards contest and that my prize was one million three hundred thousand dollars, with an additional two hundred thousand dollars for repayment of debts, including mortgage. He mentioned Readers Digest as a co-sponsor of the contest. He requested a call back to the number that was displayed as the origination number of his call: (407)250-0393. The phone displayed Orlando, FL as the originating location. I did not return the call, dismissing it as a scam.

- Portland, OR, USA

got a call saying I'm a winner, didn't fall for it

Was contacted by David Sawyer and Michael Goodman about winning substantial amount of money a Mercedes and other gifts etc. they said that they are are associated with Plubishers clearing house to help disperse prizes and winnngs that the wining would be delivered thru UPS that any payment I made would be reimbursed once’s the prizes are received. They kept calling asking for personal information and wanted me to pay using bank accounts I was suspicious and they said I could use gift cards instead of listening to my instincts and getting caught up with the pressure tactics I went a head and got gift cards and gave them the information unfortunately I was scammed and never thought it would happen to me.

Told consumer they had won 2 1/2 million dollars in the lottery. For them to get this they had to go buy a 799.00 government stamp and call them back. They needed the stamp to place on the check when it was issued.
