Got a call from Dave with american cash awards wanting me to transfer 1300 dollars to cover the taxes and fees on 2.5 million that I had won

Claimed I had 2 and 1/2 million coming to me and asked me to give them 2700 for insurance purposes.

I have received a voicemail from this company but I never returned their call I knew it was a scam

Was told that I had a prize check 2.5 million I needed to go to Walmart and get an Amazon card and then call back. He was very degrading and talked trash on the phone. The mans name that called was Ricky James and Bobby Walker. The phone number is 570-415-1701. The badge number given was #1199.

One of the worst things I have been threw in my life. I was scammed out of every dime I had by a man who called himself Joseph .Mcpherson.I will never trust anyone you you have to send money to to get money. I had not much money but I fell for it. Now I have nothing. I lost my family because of this man.

How much money did you lose? In total

This company asks for an application fee of $695, and after that they ask for more money to "pay your tax debt", and then ask for up to another $15,000 for the FTC because they have to have that paid to them for their fees, and make sure that all of the documents are correct. When you pay that, they will send you a P1 form to confirm you have paid all of the fees, and then you will receive your prize money, and your new car. The agent who has been talking to my mom is Mr. Hoffman, and his phone number is 214-307-5902, and his phone is a Text Now phone number. They will not get any more money from my mom, and I hope no one else falls for this scam.

11/16/2020. Received t/c saying I won $25 million. Caller asked if I would be home so the 'team' could come and deliver a certified check. Asked who he was and where he was calling from. He said he was calling for Bank of America. Said he was the agent assigned to ensure I received the prize money from Pubisher's Clearing House. I asked what he needed from me. He said my driver's license & the claim #. Told him I didn't have a claim #. He told me to call Bank of America at 815-267-8161 & press 0 to obtain the account information registered in my name and to call him back. Called & pressed 0 to which a recording said it had located the number I was calling from & stated my 'account has a balance of $25 million'. I went back to the main menu & pressed the # to talk with an agent. No one answered & I did not leave a message. In under 2 minutes I rec'd a call from someone saying he had just missed my call. Asked who he was with and his name. He said he is with American Cash Awards in California and his name is David (not sure of last name, but sounded like...) Shore. He asked me to hang on the line so he could verify my prize. He came back within 45 seconds & congratulated me for winning $25 million. I asked him to advise what 'they' needed me to do to obtain this prize & he said I would need to send $1850 for service fees. I told him I would be contacting ScamPulse.com because any prize won would not require a service fee or any payment up front in order for the prize to be received. He told me to do whatever I needed to do & disconnected the call. I called 'Benjamin White' back at 1-800-484-2489 & let Mr. White know I did indeed listen to a recording advising my telephone number was attached to an account with a balance of $25 million. I asked Mr. White if a service fee was required to obtain my prize; he said no. He said he just needed my full name, to which I gave since he already had it. He then asked for my sociaI security # to which I refused & told him he didn't need that information. I also let Mr White know I was able to speak with a person at the 815-267-8161 number he gave me & that person told me they require a service fee of $1850. Mr. White assertively asked me who I spoke with & I told him the name given was David (I believe last name was) Shore. I also told him as soon as our call was ended I would be reporting this situation to the BBB....Mr White disconnected our call! Both men I spoke with had a heavy Indian accent.

I am receiving calls from two men. Garfield Jones 509-262-3481 and John Andifen 203-433-7937. I don't know the spelling of his last name. They are affiliated with the Better Business Bureau. Helping me recover funds I may have lost with American Cash Awards. Garfield Jones requested $1000 to recover to get my prize. I think I sent two $500 Giant Eagle money orders. They did not want Fed Ex. They were going to deliver the money.

I was contacted by a Lester Goodman, claims checking department from American Cash Awards Sweepstakes about a huge reward. He says I was picked at a random selection, and began asking questions and giving ME the info. I told him I would check it out, and if it was legit, I would call him back. He has called several times, and I will not pick up. I have since blocked the calls.

Today, August 27, I got a call from a private number which usually is the "identification" of my doctor. So I picked it up. The guy introduced himself as John Edwards from the Prize Patrol and declared that I had won $850,000 plus $5,000 monthly for life. As I have played Sweepstakes lottery for almost a year now, my first reaction was "WOW!"

Then the guy provided me with a few numbers: package code and claim code. Then he said that I had to purchase a One Vanilla gift card and put $350 on it. When I asked him "what for?" he explained that this amount was necessary to be there for IRS to be able to transfer my monthly awards. To be honest (although I know how scams work and avoided two of them in the past), this time I swallowed the bate. So I purchased the card and gave this guy the number. My mind started to work sharp when he told me that in order to get the prize I have to purchase an American Gold Eagle Stamp for $854.32 and an American Bonding Stamp for $916.55. I refused. So he said the company, which is American Cash Prizes, will pay a thousand and I have to pay remaining $750 which, together with $350, will be reimbursed in 5 days. When I expressed doubts, the guy transferred me to the "Manager" who introduced himself as David Moor, but I realized that the voice and the speech manner were the same. So I "agreed" to follow their instructions and send $750 cash to the address they provided. (Not to mention that the money from the gift card was already gone: a purchase on PayPal for $349.95. They started to call me again non-stop, probably to find out if I sent the money by FedEx. Instead, I called DC police and am now waiting for them to call me back and record my report. Also, I consulted my bank, CVS pharmacy where I bought the card, the Vanilla gift card company and traced the payment from my gift card was made through PayPal. PayPal was not helpful although the transaction was still pending and could easily be stopped.

The phone numbers these guys called me (besides the private one) are: (876) 351-5500 (Jamaica) and (210) 503-1755 (San Antonio, TX).

The mail address they gave me for shipping the money is:

Got a call from a Carl Johnson 8767962253, a Jamaican number. Said he was calling on behalf of PCH from American Cash Rewards. That I won 2.5 million and a Mercedes. Said the UPS would deliver a pkg but I need to register with the post office and pay 399.00 delivery fee for the car. They are scammers. Please don't fall for this. This guy was very professional and convincing. He knew my address... I did my little investigation as I'm skeptical about everything. I just pray they get caught! Judith

I was left a message from the American Cash Awards & Sweepstakes Company that I had won $5 million and $500 thousand , plus a 2020 Lincoln and $10 thousand a week for life.
It sounded as fake as possible, and left a phone $ to get ahold of another person. How do these people live with themselves?

Called and said I won 7 million dollars and 5,000 a week for life and I old somebody’s 900,000 and some thousand for taxes on it

Received phone call re: sweepstakes winner of 5 Million, 5 Hundred Thousand....

Bill Cash

I was called and told I won 2,500 dollars and his script sounded legit up until he asked how far I was from Walgreens. I asked him which one as we have several in town, but he didn't answer and just asked again. he wanted a 350$ gift card that said vanilla (I haven't looked that part up yet) to cover shipping fees for this red envelope he said it was coming in. He also said that I would get a cash bonus of 500$ to cover the gift card price. I finally got off the phone when I said I had to get dressed and I would call him back. The company name is American Cash Awards, and the phone numbers I was given are 929-259-5986 and 717-256-2248. I was given office codes, phone numbers, and tracking codes for my package as well as the choice of a private delivery or televised with a state attorney present.

Identified himself as David Michael from phone number 217-247-3470. Stated that we had won 1.8 million dollars and a Mercedes car. Asked us many questions about our financial status(we lied on every question) I finally told them I would let my FBI friend investigate them to see if they were legit. He said he would have his boss call me and I have been getting several calls from different numbers ?+1 (876) 336-2595? and ?+1 (786) 540-3447?. This is the 2nd time in 6 weeks he has tried to get me to send him money that I won’t do.

The caller identified himself as Attorney Jake Anderson. He gave me a package claim number and a prize listed number. He told me I had been placed in a raffle for senior citizens and I won the 2nd prize $850,000, and two shopping gift cards. He also said something about receiving $5,000 monthly. He mentioned a P14 form for the IRS so that they would know how much in taxes should be paid on the prize. He wanted to know if I was over 65 and if I were married. He said American Cash Awards held the raffle with 152 people's names. I called him back to see if the story would continue, it did. He said the prize would be delivered to me in the form of a cashier's check. I refused to confirm my address or my age, though I did tell him I was married. While talking to him, I was checking out this organization on the internet. I came to the conclusion this is a scam. I told him so and told him to take my number off his call list and never call us again. I did not give the caller time to request money from me.

This man's name (supposedly ) is Garfield Wilson. Stated that I had won they are full of $4.5 . He said my name had been published on the internet, and they were calling because I had not claimed my prize. He also stated that he was the Lottery Commissioner. Today is Monday, so this is the first such call this week . Last week I had 3 similar calls. One claimed to be from Publishers Clearing House. I go along till I get all their info, then I laugh and tell them they are full of ****. They acted as though they are so offended . They even throw God into the mix. In this my cost was $1250,00, of which

They would pay 75%. I was to send it FedEx or USPS. This is money would go to the IRS to pay their cost.
