I received a call from someone stating his name was Mr. Paul Snyder with the Claimers Department and I had been selected as a 2nd place winner and had won $1,000,000 courtesy from the CVS Pharmacy and Walmart Store. I also won $50,000 bonus cash that should go to my outstanding credit card bills today. Then he asked me to give him a call at 321-401-5434. When I called him back, same person, he said the same thing as the voicemail message he left (which I still have), but said he was with American Cash Award and gave me Reference #RL92940. He kept reminding me about the $50,000 I would receive for my credit card dept. He then asked what my name was, I told him, and then the name of my bank, which I told him, and he said they would be contacting me when the money has been put in my account with the same Ref. #. He indicated this should take about 25 minutes and then I would receive a call. He then asked me again if I had credit card dept and I said no. Needless to say, the conversation was very short and to the point after that. I did NOT give him any bank numbers or credit card numbers. My mother was listening in on our conversation when I called him back. Let's just say that I have heard nothing, go figure!!!

I received a call last Friday on my cell phone from American Cash Awards. Brian Hunter. The phone number on my caller ID 876-447-7023. He gave me a number EG424000915US. I won $1.5 million and a mercedes car. I asked how did I win this. He asked if I ever shopped at Wal Mart or Target. Asked if I had been to the mall recently. The questions seemed to get me to answer yes. I understood from the beginning it was a scam. He asked if I wanted to be public or private. they would deliver my car and cash prize. They did not ask for money. He asked me if I received a pink envelope. I said no. He said it was sent letting me know I won these prizes.

Received a call from a John Smith Banks from American Cash Awards saying I am the 2nd runner up to winning 2.5 million Sweapstakes Winner. I listened to him for a bit. Then I asked him, how could I receive it? He indicated , it could be publicly or privately...& for each prize I choose. there would be a $250.00 dollar Delivery Fee. Now this guy sounded American. No dialect No foreign person. I told him, I do not have $250.00. He mentioned I could talk to his Manager & they have sponsor programs. He transferred me to Jessica. She explained to me, if I have credit card debt, they could pay them for me, thus freeing up any payments I normally make. I just said, I would find the information & call her back..But, after getting off the phone, I had a really sick feeling. I started googling the company (American Cash Award) & saw how many people fell for their game which is 'fraud'...Sure wish Law Enforcement would shut down their GAME...

Sounds like same guy called before telling me he was with Publishers Clearing House. When I told him that he said no they don't call and that he was from American Cash Awards. He had tried to contact us by award letter, etc. I know I had talked to him before because I told him they were fraud before, to take us off his list, and hung up on him. He said we had won some high amount of money, I told him this time if we had won to send us the prize and we would pay him the fee when we received the prize if it was true. He told me I was being blessed by this winning and all the good I could do, etc. Said fee would be 399 and I told him I not have it. He tried to tell me all kinds of ways he could help me with fee, and he not a liar, not do illegal things, etc. He said would never take personal information (bank acct. or credit card) yet said could give accounting my info so they could help pay credit card so I could get fee to them. Finally got him to give me his name and number saying I would call him tomorrow evening (I have no intention of calling). He then ask me what kind and color of vehicle I wanted as it was attached to the prize. I wish this were true as a new vehicle and cash would be nice, but sounds to good to be true.

I received a phone call from a Michael McDonald, telling me that I won $500,000. All I had to do was write out a check for $86 to a Beverly Whisenhaunt, and I would receive a check in the mail. They told me that the check was going to UPS for the delivery of the check. Michael also asked me if I wanted my name in the paper or my picture, which I told him no. When I told him I couldn't go to the bank that day because I had just had knee surgery, he told me to go to the post office to get a receipt and mail it to him.

He can be my friend and any time I need him to call me, he can. He said I needed to send $500 to get the prize.

He told me to think about it and he called me back 2 days later.

He knew my name and address

Caller ID on my phone came up as: JM Kingston 876-503-8833 on: 07-19-2017. I ended up speaking with a Dr. Thomas Michael Gray, called me and told me I had won $2.5million and a new ferrai car. They asked how much money I had in my bank I told them I had $200 for taxes and he told me to send that and I would get my winnings from Bank of America, and they would pay the rest. I talked to my bank and they told me this was a scam. I am glad I talked to them because I was going to send the money. I wrote everythign down, and took it to ScamPulse.com in AK. They told me they were scanning my full report to Investigations.

I have received several calls from american Cash Awards. Stated I won $2.5 Million. They requested $841.22 to receive. Wanted it sent Moneygram or Western Union. The number on my caller Id is 510-379-7779. Caller stated it is set up with Chase Bank. I can call and verify the funds are available. 631-378-1051. I called the number. I reached a recording that states it is Chase Bank. Please enter your account number. They had given me a number to enter. I entered the account number 481903111#. Also asked for my pin number they gave me 8915#. Recording states there is $2.5 million in my name. Callers names are Michael Newbury and Michael Goldberg. I know it is a scam and wanted to report it. I did not send money. I asked them to send an E mail so my lawyer could see it. He E mailed a picture of the check. Also E mailed an IRS form. Told me to trust them I have nothing to lose.

Someone called my elderly mom's house claiming she had won some kind of prize. They had a heavy Indian accent so I had trouble understanding all they said. When I asked them to repeat, he got very rude and said "listen to me!". Then he put his "Manager" on the line.

He said we are 2 hours from your house with the prize. Is sounded like it included a car and money. I got a number from him and a name so I could call him back . 1-876-576-3359 and he gave the name Billy Russel. I found several pieces of paper in my mom's house that had the same or similar number written on it, but they give a different name every time. They have been calling her and saying she needs to get money out of the bank to give them when they come. They even called back to tell us to go get money from Wal-Mart. I am sick of these scammers

preying on older people.

Repeated calls of congratulations on winning first prize. We just need to pay $199 to have delivery today.

Called using the name Gwendolyn Paris stating representing John Binkley and I had won 2 and 1/2 million in check and then 5000 in cash . Go to Walmart and send them 400 but don't tell anyone. She was very persistant and kept calling me back.

- Bradenton, FL, USA

Contacted me by phone saying I won money and claimed that in order to get my winnings I would have to pay $450, but I said I didn't have that much. They claimed that they ran my email address and that is how they got my information and contacted me to give me my winnings.

They had a foreign accent. Told me that I won a million dollars but that they requite 1% paid to the IRS, wanted $485 sent to them

- Cleveland, OH, USA

I have been receiving calls on my cell phone from American Cash Awards. The phone numbers in my caller ID are 202-858-4679 and 876-522-4887. Caller stated I won $550,000. from using my debit card at Walmart and CVS. Requested a $399 upfront fee for an insurance bond. I did not send any money. I played along. When I heard they wanted money that is when I knew it was a scam. They could just take that fee out of my winnings. Said they mailed me something but I never received. Wanted me to wire the funds Western Union. Said the guys were in Norwalk OH delivering another check. I needed to act right away. Told me I would be reimbursed. I am reporting the call.

My husband received an email letting him know that he won a sweepstakes from Publishers Clearing House/American Cash Awards. The email stated that he could win either a Mercedes or a cash prize. Either way, he was to submit $700 for taxes and other fees such as processing if he wanted to claim his award. I read through the email and thought that it was strange, because the email declared that he was the winner, but I have usually been the one to submit entries to the Publisher's Clearing House sweepstakes, and the last time that I entered was over a year ago. I also felt that it was strange because of this $700 charge.
