- Los Angeles, CA, USA

I got a phone call from a Mr. Bob Lee who said he was with the American cash awards and I won $2.5 million. He wanted me to call Bank of America # 888-319-6296. They had what they called a suspend account #257943000 and the pin #2143 that I was supposed to use to check and see that they had money for me in that account than I was to open another account and B of A would wire and deposit that money into it. They said I had to pay the taxes on that money. I immediately got off the phone and am reporting this scam to you to investigate it.

Catch them [censored] before they scam someone else.

Called several times claiming I won 2 million dollars and a mercedes benz. Said they would meet me at my house to deliver the money. Didn't ask me for my address though. Asked me to create a security code. Said I won by being entered in a raffle at Walmart. Told me his name was Micheal Duncan.

A person named Jeffrey Moore has called our home on multiple dates, and several times per day for the past two weeks. He claims we have won 5.5 million dollars and a brand new silver Mercedes Benz. He states we won because of a random drawing as a result of our name being entered into the drawing based on our shopping at Walmart, Walgreens, and JC Penney. He has asked for all of our personal information to "verify our identification before they deliver the check to us in a silver titanium brief case and have news media on hand to publicize our receipt of the prize". He wanted names, address, bank name, social security number, etc. He also said we would need to go to Western Union and wire them $380 to "confirm my name and identification". We have not provided them with any of the personal information as we recognize a scam when we see one, but this person continues to call us anyway even though we demand they stop calling.

I received a phone call telling me I won $.4.2 million dollars. They said I needed to pay them $395 and that I should give them my bank account number. I said no. They said they are affiliated with Publishers Clearing House and I told them PCH would not ask me for money. They said well then pay us $100 now, we will be at your house in 15 minutes and we will go to your bank with you to collect the rest of the fees. I told them this was a scam and to not call again. They said well call us back by 5PM because your bank closes at 5PM and we want to get your check to you so you can deposit today. I hung up.

qulified for 10,000 due to my record was clean he used the name of james nooble all i had to due was pay for the state taxes on it of 375.18 on the 12/30/16 he called several times but we were not at home called again today 1/2/17 and said he would take 300 and the other 75.18 when we got the check.

calls from jamaica telling me i won 4 1/2 million dollars and a mercedes benz, gave me an account number to pay off a credit card debt( i did not give them any information) . then wanted me to go to a walgreens and get a pay pal my cash card so they could deliver the car to me that day. used representative names mr. james bernard, mr. nelson, and william scoffield. stated they were associated with publishers clearing house. kept calling back constantly and then began to threaten me. i did notify publishers clearing house about this and closed my credit card.

I received a phone call on one of our cell phones (it is a California number as we are from California) in our home in Michigan. Supposedly I had won $4,800,000 plus an additional $50,000 and a new Class C Mercedez Benz in cherry red, all to be delivered to my home within 45 minutes, as long as I went $120 to satisfy the IRS requirement for winning and delivery of the prizes. I was supposed to go to a place where I could send a money order or money gram and pick up the form, which a Mr. David Washington would give me instructions over the phone on completion of the form. The money had to be in cash and I could not use a check, credit card, or debit card. After the money had been sent Mr, Washington and his crew would be at my home to deliver the money and car. Interestingly enough, at first he asked me if I was at my home in California, and stupidly, I informed him that I didn't live in CA any longer, that we lived in MI now. He sort of was taken aback, but recovered quickly and changed his pitch to say Michigan in all his further comments. I have two phone numbers that I got from him that follow: 1-876-566-2698 and 1-876-428-8621. You show this company out of business, but apparently it has again reared its ugly head. I send this to you to do with what you wish.

The man claimed that he was calling from American Cash Awards and his name was John Peterson, stating that I have won $2,500,000 and I need to register this amount before I could get delivery.

Tony Johnson stated that I had won $3,500,000.00 if I paid them $499.00 so that they could complete the paperwork for the federal government so that they could pay the taxes for me. They also mentioned that I won a sports car. They said that I could pay the $499.00 at a money exchange through Walmart. they stated that this was a secret award. They also stated that they would send a banker and two armed guards to help me cash my check.

First: Today, 11/22/16, at 10:20am, this fellow by the name of Jim Kingston calls (we didn't answer). He called two weeks ago (I answered phone), he tells me I won the "Trump Lottery" and won grand prize of $10.2M + Mercedes Benz. He called 3 or 4 times after that (we didn't answer phone). (He called from 876-401-5209, wherever that is.) He said he sent notification in the mail a month or two earlier, but we threw these away. We don't put any credence in half the stuff we receive in the mail anyway. We receive too much mail as it is. If we get any further notices, I will scan these and send these along.

Second: A David Garcia and a Charmaine McDonald representing American Cash Awards called us yesterday 11/21/2016 after 3pm to notify us we won the "Walmart Raffle" grand prize, $10M + Mercedes Benz. We've never been to Walmart to shop for anything. He called back later to say he was coming to the house. Scared my 87 year old mother half to death. He didn't show up. Another fellow by the name of Frank Bailey calls several days ago with the same news (phone number: 876-587-7729). This all sounds like it's just to good to be true-and we think it is.  PHONE IS JAMAICA

John Washington from the American Cash Awards called me on my home phone and said that I was randomly selected to receive a 2016 Mercedes Benz car and also a check of 955 thousand dollars. He said that he sent a letter to me in the mail about it, although I did not see it. He said that his company was legitimate, that the company was 30 years old, and that the company was owned by Donald Trump. I did not give him any personal or financial information except my email address and I believe he knew my physical address. He said that either someone would deliver the check to me or the check would be sent by UPS or Fed Ex. He said that he would not ask for personal or financial information from me, but that I would have to sign some papers after the check is delivered. The papers had to do with paying less taxes to the IRS through his company instead of through a single individual.

I then called the library and asked them if the American Cash Awards company was a legitimate company. The librarian said that there was a police warning that it was a megamillion phone scam. She also said that it was a rip off, and false sweepstakes.

I then called the company and told them that I wanted to cancel with them. Later John Washington called me and told me that he got my message, and he asked me why am I canceling. I told him that it was personal, that I wanted to cancel, and that he doesn't have to call me anymore. Then I hung up the phone.

Some Guy with the name of Daniel Bigford saying that i had a cashiers check in my name in the sum of 864.000_00 Dollars. And for me to contact American Cash Awards. And that number is 1-803-820-0964. I do not like it when I am having money issues and having people like that play with my emotions. To call and say that I won a some like that and it not be true. I looked up the number and it said it was located in S. Carolina. Could you let me know what you guys find out please. Plus I had Someone from Las Vegas the women's' names was Elizabeth Parker Saying the same thing about American Cash Awards and the had a cashiers check in my name to the sum of 800 and some thousand dollars do not have the phone numbers.

A James Anderson called me saying his badge number is US970 and that I have won 500,000 dollars I just owe 2199 dollars in fees

Call offering 750,000.00 try to get deep information

I have been receiving multiple phones calls from this number so today I decided to answer the phone. A Robert Freeman the president of American Cash Awards, advised me that I won $7.2 million dollars but needed to send $2000 dollars for processing fees & taxes. He said I would get the funds delivered by personal courier

Mr. Kennedy from American Cash Awards got through my NOMOROBO service and has left several messages on my voicemail. I do not answer the phone. His message mentioned my "full name" and he told me on the voicemail that "he wanted to inform me that I had won a major award of 35 MILLION dollars and a NEW CAR!!!! He said to call the 876-349-3759 number for details on how to claim it. I know it's a scam and do not intend to call; but, am curious to see if someone can use this info to find out who/where these people are and stop them. There may be people who are tempted by his "kind demeanor and familiarity."

I received a call from a person under the assumed name Don Baker informing me that I had a check waiting to be delivered for $955,000 today. He said that a truck was waiting to deliver the check but I needed to speak with his General manager by the name of Ray Kennedy at 18768437025. He told me that he could not give me any information on how to pick up the check until I spoke with Ray Kennedy. I informed him that if he didn't stop calling me that I would report him to the authorities. I alerted him that I had looked him up at the BBB and they are a scam.

Call from someone saying I won $850,000.

Said their UPS driver is in the area now with his $850,000 award. Could be there within the hour. Said I need a registration receipt to collect money. The registration receipt costs $287.99. That would have to be paid up front before I could get his award. I said he wouldn’t do that. I was then told to go to walmart and money gram him the 287.99.

I was called by someone stating that they were from "American Cash Award" and they told me that I won 2.5 million but, I had to pay a fee from Western Union.  I called my daughter and she said it was a scam.

- Mulino, OR, USA

I got a call from Donald Cooper stating I won $3.5 million dollars and a new mercedes and that they would drop off my prizes once I sent money for taxes via western union.
