The person called me and the phone call immediately began with the sounds of a fumbling headset. It may have been the "Can you hear me?" scam but I don't remember if I had replied Yes or not. Then the woman began to tell me how I had won some cruise, vacation, etc. When the woman asked if I was interested, I said "No, please remove me from your list." The woman then responded with a repeated question at which point I realized she was either a robot or scammer so I hung up.

I received a call on Thursday February 2 at 1:39pm EST. It was a female voice with an accent that sounded Asian. She asked if I was a business, I said no. She asked how I was doing, I said "well." Then she hung up.

On Friday February 3 at 1pm EST, I received a call from the same number. This time it was a man, also with an Asian accent. He asked how I was doing. I responded by asking him how he was doing. He answered "good" and then told me he was calling about my Windows computer. I have a Mac. Rather than respond, I hung up. I believe this is related to the phishing scam that tries to get people to say "yes" so they can record it to use to authorize charges on the victims' credit cards.

Received a call today from 678-534-5862. The voice said, "Can you here me?" I said "yes". I realized it was a recording about home security and I hung up. Also received a suspicious call two minutes later from 770-426-5400. Second person had a heavy accent and used profanity.

I received a call from someone I didn't know, but had been waiting on calls so I answered it. The "man" asked me if I could hear him, I said, yes, and he continued on to tell me about a home security system he was offering. I hung up the phone at that point, but after seeing the reports on this type of activity, I'm afraid my 'yes' was enough to make me a victim.
