Received a Visa credit card that I never applied for from Chime bank.
When I called the number on the card you cannot speak to a live person. I emailed asking to close account. They replied that in order to close account they would need a copy of picture ID as well as the last four digits of my ss#
No thank you!!! You’re not getting my info.

On April 29, 2020 I received a phone call coming from a number that said Chime when I answered a gentleman explained to me that someone was trying to use my card at a Walmart in North Carolina for $400 and that they declined the charge because he said my funds were not there. He told me they needed my email address and that was it to finish clearing up this matter. I hung up the phone and 30 seconds later my cell sent me a low balance alert and I had just had my SSI deposited and had not taken any out so I called Chime right away to find out what was going on. The person's name that shows up on the statement was it was a friends pay transfer to a Dwight Bullard and I have no clue who this is. I have talked with Chime several times trying to get my $730 back and I have sent them a couple emails on the information they have asked for and even had a friend email them because they said they haven't been receiving none of the emails. I don't know what is going on with Chime but I need any help I can get getting my money back since Chime is not helping me.

A friend of mine has a chime account and recieved a call on her cellphone today and the caller ID said it was Chime was calling. When she answered it was a gentleman stating someone in NC had tried to make a purchase on her card at Walmart and it was declined because funds were not available yet, and told her he needed her email address. The call lasted 11 minutes and after hanging up her cellphone then sent her an alert from her Chime account that her account had just had a $730 friend transfer. She has no idea who he was or how this could have happened so quickly. I looked at the time the call came in on her phone and it was 11:18 am or around there but the funds transfer is showing after 4pm in the evening which we can't figure out. We filled a dispute and thought this is also something you needed to be made aware of. The name on the transfer shows a Dwight Bullard not sure if that is even there real name

Scammers calle my phone and told me they were from Chime my online bank and i had a suspecious charge. They gave me all my informtation and said i needed to change my password and login and they would assist me. So i did that thinking they were with Chime. I checked the number they called from and it matched the number from the back of my card!. After I hung up the phone something did not seem right so i changed my password and again but it was too late they transfered $2000.00 out of my account in a matter of 2 minutes. I called Chime and reported it.
