Attempted fraudulent charge to credit card

I ordered his free book which he charged me shipping for but never sent. I called to ask where my book was and he said it would be another month and then changed the conversation to my health. My health is fine. He kept trying to find some issue that I must have. He discussed a diet based on blood type which was of no interest to me. He asked me to re-cap my credit card info so he could keep it on file. Strange, but I knew he already had it somewhere since he already charged me 1 month earlier for shipping. I really didn't feel comfortable talking to him because he was acting odd and seemed agitated. I wanted to get off the phone. He wanted to keep talking. He finally said that he would send me some info on the blood testing that he was talking about. Since he was seemingly soliciting me and seemed agitated, I became very uncomfortable, and then extremely uncomfortable once I got off the phone. I didn't trust this man whatsoever. I immediately called and cancelled the credit card, only to find out from my credit card company a few days later that he was attempting to charge $600 to it! I contacted both the Better Business Bureau and the Federal Trade Commission, and now this site. I ENCOURAGE EVERYONE that is posting on this site to contact both of these agencies and report this scammer. It is easy to do. You may not hear back from the FTC, but they keep a record of reportings. The BBB is very friendly and helpful. He already is rated a "D" out of the 5 people who have reported. Lets do the public a service by exposing this thief and con artist. I'm telling you, the public does NOT know what we know.

Fraud

Chiropractor Dr. Asa Andrew sells gene testing, which we paid $597. I completed the test in March of 2024, and never received a copy of the results, either paper or electronic copy.

Dr. Asa called from NO CALLER ID on April 9, 2024 to give verbal test results, and assured he would send the 65 page report, which he never did. He also said based on the test results, he will mail a diet plan to follow. A diet plan. Nothing mentioned about supplements or additional costs.

I then received a box of supplements, which I did not want, and I did not order, but was charged $500 for without my consent. I immediately called Dr. Asa and asked to return them. I insisted on a refund and a shipping label to return a box of supplements. He argued with me, but then said he would connect me with the shipping department. It's been almost 2 months and I never received a refund. We've been lied to and ghosted.

Ultimately, Dr. Asa is uncooperative, unprofessional, and unethical.

Fraudulent charge

Similar to the above stories. He called me and I was dumbfounded. After a short chat about nothing specific, he wanted my credit card number, but said he wouldn’t use it but would just keep it on file in case I ever ordered anything. I STUPIDLY STUPIDLY STUPIDLY gave it to him. He tried to charge a huge amount to my credit card two days later but it was blocked.

Dr. A is phony and fraud. Sent me pills I did not request and cannot take. Charge $496.99. I returned the box but it was refused. Stay away from this fraudster and con artist. He will steal your hard earned money. Someone must put an end to this charlatan. He needs to be in jail. Do not do business with him. Why is he endorsed by Dave Ramsey? $$$$

I listened to Dr Asa radio show and responded by phone. Next day 7-26-21 I received a call from Dr Asa(?) . Pleasant enough talk about his fix for my medical condition. He preceded to list all the supplements and diet to follow. He was to send me info on products and costs which he was vague on. I should have known at 69 Yrs old. He gathered my info and credit card for their file. The next day I realized he charged $ 496.99 to my card the day before. No e-mails, no invoice. Numerous calls to different numbers answered by a call service that said someone would call back. Nothing. What a SCAM. Endorsed by Dave Ramsey. My searching reveals he is not an MD doctor and no way to inquire of the products he pushes. I fell for a SCAM. If a package is sent it will be returned unopened. I want my money back.

I was also scammed by asa Andrews for $400, he said he would return my money but has yet to do so. He's very pushy, won't take no for an answer. I returned the package,I didn't even open it. I had to cancel my debit card.

I called him bc of his radio program also and he asked me tons of questions and gave me a quote of over 300 dollars and I told him probably not but would think about it...he then said and I quote..."well give me your credit card # now and I'll lower the price also as a ministry and when you call back we will have all that taken care of" I got a bad vibe in my spirit at that point and told him no, I was not comfortable giving him my cc #. He needed to go fairly quick after that...yet he had kept me for over 15 minutes earlier...I am not so sure the guy is a Christian...I don't think Jesus would do his clever pivots to get people's money...shame on you Asa Andrew...you'll stand before God someday

I have had a similar experience with Dr.Asa. I was listening to him on the radio one day and was really impressed so I decided to call to order his free book. I had to leave my name and telephone number and one night while I was having dinner I received a call from Dr. Asa. I was pretty taken aback that he was calling himself he was very friendly he talk to me asked me a lot of questions about my eating habits. He gave me a little bit of guidance he asked me for my debit card and said he was just taking my card number down because one of his assistance would call me in the next day or two to ask for a donation and further explain his food recommendations. The next day I saw a charge out of my account close to $400. I have called numerous times leave and detailed information to no avail. In my opinion and from my experience Dr. Asa is a scam.

Very similar to the above scenario, we are in the initial stages of dealing with this. We have started by cancelling our credit card to avoid further charges and notifying Dave Ramsey, a respected Christian who's name is being used on this man's books and products.

After listening to Dr. Isa Andrews on the radio as America’s favorite health coach I ordered his book. Several weeks following I received a call supposedly from Dr. Asa himself. He was very friendly and asked me to order some of his supplements in order to get me on the right path to good health. He said they would be $300 and I said I could not afford. He explain this was a “ministry“ and he would work with me. I agreed to pay half. He asked for my credit card number and after much discussion I gave it to him. I received another shipment which I did not order one month following at the full charge of $297 and 98 . I called and called and called and only received his answering service. Eventually received a call asking what the problem was and told them I never ordered the second shipment. He talked me into keeping suppleDr. Isa Andrews ments at the total cost of $50. I was Never refunded the difference. December 25 Christmas Day was charged another $295.92 on an order I never placed. I am having trouble starting any orders. None of my orders, except The very first one were authorized. I have filed a complaint dispute with my credit company please be aware of this company . He works under lifestyle companies in Lake Mary Florida, he has an office in Atlanta Georgia but you cannot contact anyone by email or phone except the 800 number

Hello, just thought we would share a very similar experience as you describe and it appears as if we will be out hundreds of dollars. This just happened, so for now we have begun by having to cancel our credit card and have notified Dave Ramsey, who is a respected Christian and is used on Dr. Asa's website and on his book. I have served in Christian ministry for 30 years and know well of Dave, so hopefully this will assist in at least resolving this potential for others, if not for us. I hope you also can resolve yours. Thank you.
