While deep into a job search, I received a similar email as others from this account ([email protected]). I found it suspicious, since I didn't recognize the company name at all. Email text read:

Dear Applicant,

The hiring team from the company SAUR GROUP have received, reviewed and approved your resume and you have been shortlisted for an online interview. We believe you have the required qualification to handle the position. The position is for: PROOFREADER

The start-up pay is $35.00 per hour while training pay is $25.00 per hour. This is strictly an online work from home job also known as a remote position. All needed and necessary details will be briefed to you during the interview section.

Following our newest online screening introduced by BBB, you are required to set-up and install Microsoft Teams app if you don't have, use the website https://teams.microsoft.com/ and add the hiring manager on this Email via Microsoft Teams app ([email protected]). He will be available online via Microsoft Teams app for the job briefing/interview section and comprehensive details. This is our first step to proceed further. He will be expecting to hear from you soon.

Your reference code is (PS-0147) this would serve as your identification number throughout the online hiring process. This is your first step, to proceed further we expect to hear back from you as soon as possible.

NOTE: We offer one week paid training tasks of $25.00 per hour before full work as we are interested in your personal development. We look forward to hearing from you as soon as possible.

Applied on Indeed, this person contacted me 3 weeks later, had me fill out their suspicious looking application, sent me a drug test through Fed Ex, then told me to wait for email confirmation of a start date for the "immediate start" position. Stopped responding to communication after about 2 days.

Consumer interviewed with Richard Wilkes, (alleged) Hiring Manager with Concepta Tech, at home data entry job paying $27.00/hour for training, then $30.00, plus a $500.00 sign on bonus. Initial call came from 407 920-4711, they then went to Microsoft Teams for interview (no face-to-face interview). He received an offer letter (phone number on letter 407 974-6379) including a W2 requiring SSN and DL info. He was then told Concepta would supply all equipment, etc., but he received notice that he had to pay a vendor (Nandy Olibrice) $250.00 via PayPal. He left VM for Richard to call back as he now had issues. He told Richard that he wasn't sending money to an individual email address (address not provided). Richard then told him he didn't sound very interested in the job and hung up.

Reached out to me via text. The hourly rate was $31.00 per hour during training and $43.00 per hour after training. Wanted to conduct interview over Signal app. I only got as far as giving my name and state because I was looking online and saw that DHU Healthcare operates out of the UK. I found the company on Glassdoor but all the reviews are from the UK. I decided to check bbb.org and realized this could be a scam. I deleted the Signal app immediately and blocked both numbers 929-375-7384 and 708-736-1044

The scammer contacted me via whatsapp about a job opportunity that involved moving products on a digital data platform named as Summit digital marketing. This involved moving 40 products per set. Two sets per day so 80 products could be moved. Initially the profit was marginal about 150$ that I could withdraw from this platform after transferring crypto currency via shakepay to the scammers bitcoin address. After few days and completing about 6 sets, I ran into "merges" that had high profits involved in moving data for the sets but required more money that I transferred via shakepay to the scammers bitcoin wallet. I doubted they were scammers after the merges were above 10k but I decided to move on and complete the set and with an intention to withdraw the money. After completing the set, the platform still showed that I owed 15k USD and thats when I realized this was a scam. It was too late and I lost my money to scammers.

The job was said to be a data entry clerk, for $35.50/hr. I asked multiple times throughout the instant message interview for proof this wasn't fraudulent and I was asked to trust them. They wanted my onboarding information sent that same day, but the hard copies of the documents had suspiciously formatted letterhead. There were many syntax errors in the interviews responses during the interview. They wanted to send me a check where some was for me to keep and the rest was for work equipment that I would need. Too many things didn't add up.

Received an email thanking me for my application. I keep all copies of jobs I apply for and didn't have one for DHU Healthcare. They wanted to know if I have a Teams App. I said yes and they sent me a link to a Mr. Michael Leitschkis. They told me to send him a code and I would get an invitation.

I looked up ScamPulse.com thankfully. I sent them an email asking them to send me a copy of the job opening. Haven't heard back yet.

I was contacted via text (Randall Ellis) and asked to interview for the role of Remote Data Entry Analyst, the interview was conducted via Microsoft teams with Elizabeth Byrd, I was asked general interview questions until I was asked to provide my bank name, don't understand why that would be asked in an interview so I refused to answer. I was then asked to contact this person back via Teams at 10am on 4/3/24 for a follow-up, probably another attempt to get bank info.

Scammer contacted me offering me a job making $5000 a month to accept, inspect, repackage and reship packages to customers several times a day/week. Offering bonuses and vip prizes.

They contact you via email, assuring that for 1 month of internship, you will receive a payment by the end, they use different company names and constantly change the emails or companies they are working for and offer to work the only thing that doesn't change is the phone number and the address. They assign tasks for one month to data entry resumes which might be the next targets for them. They try to scam your bank account by asking for information and trying to send them money in the name of the investment.

I was offered a job as a Personal Assistant for Capital Invest Company ([email protected]) on March 05, 2024 under the condition of a paid month-long internship Part time at $31.00 hourly . I was advised after interneship I would go full time form 8-am 5pm. They sent me a contract as well as a Employee verification letter. The gentleman who hired me, Alex Lindsay [email protected] contacted me through email and we spoke on the phone for my interview. The internship supervisor, JONATHAN SIMON (JS) ([email protected]), communicated via WebEx. They had a website and contacted me from the number listed on the website. I was so desperate for employment so I accepted the job . During the training, JS had me establish an account with Wise Bank, in which I was informed would only be used for training and I could delete after the internship. I informed them I was not comfortable with using my personal information and he never brought it up again, I worked from March 5, 2024 until April 1, 2024. The entire months, JS would instead have me do remedial spreadsheets, organizing thousands of names from collected resumes from people worldwide. I did not think much of it because I was advised I would be doing spreadsheets. When the first month ended, I was due for pay, but was told that HR would send me a form to fill out to receive my pay. Never received any forms or documents. I have emailed HR and JS and the emails are coming back and not delivery. The website is also currently down and my phone number has been blocked from calling them. I called from a different number and the phone keeps just ringing ( they did not block my second number. I have not received any form for payment or can I get any communication from anyone. JS has viewed my message and will not respond.

I could never get in touch with "finance department," with whom I could never have a one-on-one phone call or get a person on the phone. I don't understand why people do things like this, I am about to be evicted from my apartment because I can not pay my rent. This is beyond horrible and I can not pay my bills. I am at a loss. These people need to be stopped.

Person contacted me about a job offering $25/HR. After an “interview” I was given a “start date” but first needed to email my ssn & dl for a background check. Person also asked for my bank information for “direct deposit” and stated that I would receive an “e-check” to purchase an MacBook to use for employment. The person stated their name was Victoria Elson and the business was Arcadia Care

Someone identifying themselves as ‘Tara Evans’ with FlexJobs reached out directly to me via text to offer information about job opportunities. Then requested my WhatsApp number and suggested I connect with another ‘individual in charge’ to ‘facilitate clearer understanding on your part’, (meaning my part) ‘enabling you to decide suitability’.
