I was hired to procure data on homes owned by individuals that they said were going to be used in real estate sales with realtors who purchase the information from the company. I filled out the paperwork with my personal information. I worked two months getting them the information they asked for but was never paid. I contacted their CEO, CFO, HR and General Counsel about it all through email as they will not give me a phone number to contact anyone.

They never gave a straight answer telling why they haven’t paid me but kept passing the blame onto each other or “the payroll company”. After 4 months of asking for my payroll paychecks for the work I performed, I inquired more seriously about being paid. When I did this they all stoped answering my emails. I informed them of how illegal it was to not pay me still with no response from anyone. They only contact strictly through email with no working phone number to call not even the phone number for their business listed on their website works. The CEO has a working phone number but won’t answer when I try to contact him on it. The CEO also makes excuses saying he can’t do anything about it and passes it off. They also have no physical location. Their business address is not where they are but only a “mailing address”.

They promised good pay and work then made excuses when I asked for what was promised. Now they have stopped answering all together. I tried to research their general counsel and other employees but from my research, it seems non of them actually exist other than the CEO. They had me fill out employee hire paperwork which has my personal sensitive information on it and now will not answer me when I try to contact them. Which means they have all my personal information. Beware of this scam!

I was approached for a job interview after applying to several jobs on Indeed and Linkedin. I accepted and listened to the job interview via zoom. It was a group interview and we didn't get the chance to talk. the guy sent me a survey to fill out and promptly ended the zoom. At this point, I was already feeling suspicious because for a marketing agency, they are practically invisible online. They say this is because of confidentiality agreements. Long story short, there was another interview the next morning with someone called Nikki, she gave very vague information, and had an answer for everything, but it didn't feel right. She sent another survey. I got a text saying I will be going on to have a phone call this evening. I got a call from the number 917-744-7507 from Nikki, she hung up when i answered. I called back, and suddenly she was available to do the final interview. We talked a bit, and it seemed more and more like this was not legit but I just played along to get more information. She put me on hold to "chat with her team" and came back to offer me the job. Without even meeting me, without doing any tests, etc, after barely even 1 real interview. She is asking me to promptly go to the office this Friday morning, to sign paperwork and get onboarded. The email she sent is asking for a lot of personal details when I come in on Friday, like all my past addresses for the past 7 years and my banking info. They ask I bring a notebook and dress professionally, but don't even want me to bring a form of ID... This is not my first onboarding, this is absolutely a scam. The website also says at the bottom its since 2023 and I just noticed now that at the footer of the email, it says "2024 BBA Philly" when they claim to have been in business for a few years now.

I received a fake offer to interview with Appello Pharmaceuticals.

Below is the message I received:

“Hello, I’m Jonathan Pedro. I'm contacting you in regards to your resume reviewed by our company

(Appello Pharmaceuticals) from Indeed.

We're excited to invite you to interview for the position of a Remote Data Entry Analyst, work from home with a pay of $35 per hour. We would like to know if you're Interested?”

I did not respond as I realized that this was not a real offer and that I had not applied to this company.

I had originally applied to a job posting for data entry on indeed.com. I was an emailed by this company and told to download the Signal app in order to contact/have an interview with Vivian Hughes. I was asked a multitude of questions but when I try to ask pertinent questions, they never really had a clear answer. When asked if there’s an HR number I can call they never replied back.

They contacted me via text first with the following:

"Hello! Cheryl Foy from MipSalus. Your resume was reviewed for Data Entry Rep. Compensation: $35.75/hr, training: $20.75/hr for two weeks (no experience needed). Fully remote with Interview done via TEXT on Telegram. Download the app, add Hiring Manager @Alexprock after downloading Telegram Messenger. Drop a message to the HR via Telegram to move forward. Thanks!"

After that held an interview process over Telegram no video call no phone call nothing.

The position they offered was remote Data entry management and they had a lot of talk about building your own home office and buying office equipment from there own vendor etc. The jobs offered were pretty much all the remote work from home positions and pay was around 38/h and they were only depositing via checks. No direct deposit. They even tried to ask for my banking information to login in order to clear all my credit card debt so I can buy from there vendor and be reimbursed. They also sent a W-4 form and a shabby looking job offer letter with no actual legally binding words or statements within the job offer letter.

They asked for the following once I passed their interview: full name, Full address, cell phone number.

They probably have my ssn too since I put it in the W-4 form and sent it back. I have all the full conversation reciepts if you need so please contact me if you need anything else. The only way I was able to get out before they took any money from me was that I called the bank regarding the status of my cheque I deposited and they told me its a fraudulent cheque. They usually spell cheque incorrectly too, as "check".

Long story short, I contacted the "recruiter", named Alex Prock, and asked him why the cheque was fraudulent. They immediately blocked me and I haven't heard from "him" ever since.

yes "Alex Prock" is a scam. Please go with your gut people. The same thing happened to my gf. The check got deposited, and after he asked for $3500 back to "get computer from vendor" but had to send money to two different people plus apple gift cards and was very persistent on doing the check asap. After all the money was used going back to him plus other to supplies and etc. later the same day acct went to the negatives and it just wasn't a fun experience so please don't fall for the scams!

Contacted by scammer with a “job opportunity “ ; had stated seen resume on “Career Builder job site.” Stated was for work at home data entry-Home Healthcare Representative. Scammer was to send a offer letter following day with Employee Orientation Information---$40/hr & $30/hr for training for 1 week. Scammer Indicated needed to communicate via Skype, that I downloaded on my own. Company was located in the UK, Ireland. I stated to the scammer that I was concerned about the legitimacy of this job offer and requested documentation that this was a legit company, only received words via skype chat. Scammer stated they would send a check to obtain necessary software to do the job. Scammer asked that I purchase 4 software programs and that they would mail be a check for reimbursement and would ship my computer. I asked why it wasn't already installed on the computer and was given more words but no real answer. I stated that most interviews were videos and this was a 45min "chat via text" that they would ask questions. He would send me 5 questions, I answered, he would send me another. I replied---complete waste of my time, if a legit company then i would get documentation of ScamPulse.com info or something, May God have mercy on your soul. No Reply!!!!!!!!!!

A fake job offer from a recruitment company I never signed up with. I, in fact work for a recruitment agency so no need to contact another. I have save the text messages for proof and to show a template of how they try to get your info.

I received a text from Kami Elizabeth Evans (+1-260-267-0795) from Wakefield McCoy Limited's recruitment team regarding my interest in a remote data entry job. She instructed me to contact the hiring manager, Michael Reuben Faulker (+1-701-575-0693 or @faulkerreuben), with the code WFML-2024 via the Telegram messaging app. He interviewed me via messages and after telling me I was hired, he requested my contact details (i.e., address, phone number, email), a photo for my company ID, my driver's license, and social security number, all of which I provided unfortunately. He did send me photos of his alleged driver's license and social security card. He told me that my training manager, Roswell Gene Anthony ([email protected]), would be providing a company overview and schedule. I received an email from Roswell with a check to purchase a laptop, printer, and other equipment for the job. I deposited it via mobile app but did not withdraw any funds and put a restriction on my account. During this time, I did more research but could not find any information about the company nor these people and realized it was a scam.

I received a notification via email from Allegion workspace that they had received my application for an Administrative Remote position, and they wanted to set up an interview. They claimed they got my resume and application from zip recruiter. I did not apply to this position on zip recruiter. I assumed initially that it was probably from a site called Flex jobs that has remote job listing's, and thought maybe flex jobs pulled jobs from different job search sites to post on their website. The position looked legit, Anusha Thiyagarah is who I spoke to, she called me and did an over the phone interview yesterday, and I received an email today showing I got the position, along with the offer letter and background information request. But before sending any of my information, I decided to research to make sure it wasn't a scam, and found someone else had reported them as well to the bbb. And all of their information was exactly the same as what I am seeing in my emails.

- Colorado Springs, CO, USA • Mar 15, 2024

They don't attempt to answer basic questions about the company itself or about the location of where the company is or where they obtained your information that "matched you" to the position. The job description does not match anything that I have actually applied for and has no fair background check
