Offered online employment for a purchasing agent. Company had paid credit card debts because they had mentioned that I would have to use my credit cards to purchase items (during training "only") and they would fully compensate me.

The scammer initially contacted me via my school email and posed as being a part of my college’s work study program. The offer was for a part-time remote job for being a virtual personal assistant. The was a separate google fill out sheet to enter your information like full name ,phone number, and email. There will be an ask for a different personal email to follow up in which there will be a story about how there will be no interview to get started quickly and how the scammer is out the country and has a wife who is battling Cancer . The scammer will also pose as being a member of UNICEF and the work you’d do would impact that but the scam involves receiving a cashier’s check to deposit in your bank account and running around making purchases.

John Atkinson who text me a remote position (data entry) said hes he's with Toralgen. He said I need to download teams. I downloaded Teams and spoke with Todd Brewster who said he is the hiring manager. Of course I was interviewed and hired. I called Toralgen and was informed that they have no Todd Brewster that works with them. They said their company doesn't just do chat, there is a process that has to take place.

I was initially contacted by text about a remote Data Specialist job, allegedly from Randstad Recruiting Agency (phone 815 205 2059). Upon agreement, the person said they would contact me via WhatsApp, which they did with the number +1 504 3587343. I started what was supposed to be the training session after signing up on their website, www.karol-ek.com. In training, I realized that I would be required to put money into accessing data for what they called boosting slow-moving products. I would have to put in USD 1k to start and then more. I asked why the client was not paying for that, and they didn't answer well. I declined the job offer, saying I'd never seen a job where I had to put money down, and they are still insisting, saying they would show me how much they have earned on commissions. Now I feel harassed, but I don't want to block them yet if there is a chance that I help for them to get caught

I was interviewed on Microsoft Teams for a Data Entry Specialist position offering $38/hr and $24/hr during training for a maximum of 40 hr/wk. They were offering me a new home office set up and other benefits. I was sent a check for $2,500 to cash to purchase my new home office set up. The company was exponential impact, but the check said Armor Beef, this is when I investigated further and seen the same name and phone number be used on past people with previous experiences.

Yesterday evening I received an email from someone with my domain handle offering me $650 to work for someone as a Personal Virtual Assistant for 1 hour for 2-3 days a week. I answered their Google form of interest and emailed the person I was directed to email with my personal information and resume. When I went to go check the person out, I found that this is a common scam that scammers perform on college students to steal their money. Dickens Tyrone is a scammer. Do not email or respond to any of their scams with personal information.

Was contacted via email to set up phone interview by a Steve Wilson after confirming my email. They sent me a link to set up telegram after my 5 minute interview (which is when I got suspicious). No interview lasts just for 5 min even when asking what my experience was he just described the job as Financial Asst. helping customers do financial transactions. He said it was a 1099 position and its 2% per transaction and that somehow adds up to just working 15 hrs/week making about $2000/mo. which sounded shady to me. I then investigated because I know about the telegram program and scammers trying to get people to do chat interviews on there.

Bsshipping reached out to me about a job offer thru indeed. Which I do use indeed, upon the phone call they explained the job and what my duties were, they went as far as having their account team to reach out for all my personal information. I then received a packages after package and 5/17/24 would be my paydate. I’m so aggravated because I’m a single parent and now I have nothing. This isn’t fair for me to work and not get paid.

Concetta first approached me as a Realtor interested in helping me purchase a home . I was offered a job but then told I would have to sign a contract for realtor school . The contract that I signed stated I would pay 2000 to attend a seminar held by Concetta and her son David Fitts. . After paying the money to Concetta and told she would contact me with attending dates I walked away happy . It’s been awhile a haven’t heard back from Concetta or anyone at the office concerning money or starting date . Company is dishonesty and full of scams

This is a fake company that uses theIndeed job site for victims. I was sent a text from Olivia out of the blue. I had never applied to BbaPhully and had no clue what it was. Upon Googling, theres nothing about this company anywhere except their very simplistic website. Digging further, i realize other people have been roped in with this company and it was just as suspicious. After fecling to make an appointment via the text link, i was sent an email saying if made it to an interview, almost celebrating. It was weird and an experience ive never had with a reputable company.

I was told that i would be promoting products and collecting a small amount of commission based on the price of the item. Occasionally i would get a product worth more than i had in my account. Then i would have to add more money to my account to continue. The first time i had to add $2,000 in order to continue then i was given another item worth $14,000 so i needed to add another $10,000. I didn't give anorher $10,000. I am out the $2500. and would like it back. The person who was stringing me along said her name is Wendy. The phone number she uses is 2163428752.

I was contacted by email about a quality auditor position from a guy named Joshua C***** at Shopping Truth LLC. He sent me an employment application and agreement. I completed the agreement but not the application. He then said that a supervisor would contact me for further instructions. I received a call from a lady by the name of Olga Brown 404-382-0661. She said that I needed to complete a task on the website and then I would start to receive packages. I was told to go in the site and upload my working place of where the packages would be stored. I contacted the ScamPulse.com by phone because it sounded like a scam. I spoke to a representative that told me to go to the website and file a report.

So my advice for anyone who gets this scam is to go along with it and take a package that you would like to have for yourself I had a brand new iMac mini and an iPad Pro that I “inspected” and I just wish I woulda kept one of them but I didn’t lose any money just some time

• May 27, 2024

Same exact thing Happened to me but I just had another one hit me up saying they’re a new quality auditing place and if this one goes thru I stealing the first package of value

I received a text message from *818) 714-7682 on April 27, 2024, at 7:40 PM. The text msg: "I'm Lisa from Skills alliance Company in USA, are you interested in a remote project? Do you want to know more?". I texted back asking the type of project and got the response, "This is a remote project and will not affect your full-time job. Please rest assured that you can do in your free time. Is it convenient for the person in charge to contact you?, I currently offer a work from home/full-time that you can do in as little as 30/60 minutes a day, don't worry if you don't have any experience, we offer you free training. We offer many opportunities. Advance: no experience required, flex time, remote operation. Require: us. Citizen/Permanent Resident; and your own account (for payroll); 25 years and above. Do you want to continue your studies? Are you still interested? I am waiting for your reply/" I responded advising I was looking the company up and checking the ScamPulse.com and asked how they came across my information. Their response, "I get your number from databas., I will ask the person n charge (employer) to contact you and give you a briefing on the salary. After you understand the training, you can decide whether to accept it or not and continue learning, okay? I responded back that I believed this to be a scam and that I was reporting the Manatee County Sheriff's Department and the BBB. Their response, "No, I'm not a scammer, you can try".
