Seen a Facebook ad posted from someone in our area about this great remote job opportunity. Thinking since she was trustworthy being that she was from our area, I applied and offered the job. They emailed me an official job acceptance letter plus a paper that says they will cover the cost of the cell phone she asked me to order. Throughout the entire process I messaged this person on Facebook if this is what she did as far as sending out the cell phone and getting money cards. She confirmed yes this is what she had to do to get started and the lady at candor said it was to vet the new employee because some steal their equipment once they have them. Candor had a reason for all my questions, it was ridiculous. When I wasn’t getting reimbursed and it kept getting delayed, I knew there was something wrong. I hate myself for going as far as I did. And now I have to dig myself out of the hole I created.

I applied for this job offer on Facebook called Decca inc.. they asked for information about a website called ID.me.com I didn't think anything of it they got into and changed my email and phone number ..I put a freeze on my socials on all 3 credit reports etc..I've contacted I'd.me.com still haven't heard anything

i took a package job from this company they promised me 3700$ after 30 days of employment. i received several packages at my home and then downloaded labels to resend the packages to someone else. this company pretended to be a third party company who guarantees accuracy so no need for returns. two days before i was supposed to be paid they stop answering the phone and my dshboard no longer works. i have a pic of every item and shipping label

I was hired via Career Builder by EZ Ship and it is located (supposedly) in Hialeah, FL. Google Maps shows a dilapidated old strip center, if you can call it that, which has a hispanic church and what looks like vacant spaces. No sign of EZ anything. I was told I would be a "shipping agent" like others on the ScamPulse.com scam alert website and would be re-routing packages. I found the FBI scam complaint website after I read an article on Microsoft's website about employment scams. This website is listed. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365-life-hacks/privacy-and-safety/onli...⇄ I was told by Paul Weisman I would be on probation for one month and that I could expect 25 to 50 packages and would be paid $25 per package. I sent two packages and received a Zelle payment for $50.00 from "Aliaksandr Zaitsau" - confirmed with my bank. Perhaps they can provide information as to the location of the sender or financial institution used? I found two Aliaksandr Zaitsaus on linkedin, both software developers, both in Belarus, on an extensive google search .

I was asked to upload copies of my DL, Permanent Resident Card, W-2 and I-9, so they have everything they need to take control of whatever they want. I own my car and my home outright. The man I spoke to in "HR" goes by Paul Weisman. My so-called Supervisor is "Maria Novak." Never heard from this person other than text, email and the portal setup to upload photos of packages and shipping labels and download and print new shipping labels (there is a messaging app built into the web portal - top right side). I have provided the emails with links, including my user name and password to login to the portal. One of the points made by Microsoft is that these people steal the goods and then pay others to ship them. This guy went to great lengths to set everything up to look legitimate. I suspect that not only do they steal goods, repackage them and then resend, they steal identities as well and either use them or sell them. Now I'm on the hook - they have everything. My guess is this Aliaksandr guy is masquerading as Paul Weisman and, as I said, he has gone to great lengths to make himself and this company look legitimate.

A friend of mine said they had a opening at their job they were looking for people for data entry sent me the link, but I don’t feel comfortable with the link and ask for your ID your social I gave them that, but nobody ever called me for an interview kept saying they would call me, but somebody just kept emailing me and there’s no way to track the email address from my phone Then they put me in the ID me which deals with the IRS and Social Security and things of that nature, and they wanted me to give them my pass code and that’s when I realized it was a scam.

Received a job off with a check for $2950.00. Credit Union gave $700 and called him stating the check was a fraud and the money given was being taken out of bank account to repay bank.

Good day!

The person allegedly performing as "Alix Patino" emailed me regarding my supposed employment as an "Administrative Assistant" at Elekta. The email they use is "[email protected]" and "hr.elektacareers.com." I have been trying to request their contact details but they are not giving them to me.

1) They sent me forms such as welcome documents, offer of employment, and "next steps" from Elekta.

2) They also sent me a W-4 and I-9, which included my social security number, address, and full name. I am afraid that they may use that to their advantage.

3) They tried to send me a check through mail, but FedEx has it on hold because FedEx stated that the account number being used is inactive.

4) They sent me an eCheck, I tried to deposit it online but it did not push through because the bank found out that it was a job scam. This resulted in my account being closed. I cannot open a checking or savings account anymore with that bank. My bank asked if I could have the actual phone number of this Alix Patino to verify the check, but she is not replying to that specific inquiry whenever I ask her.

Right now, they are contacting me through "Flock," a communication platform such as Slack, which is apparently Elekta's platform for communication.

I spoke to the actual representative from Elekta using the Atlana, GA number from their website and they said they do not use that (sending checks, using the "Flock" application as communication - which there are almost 50+ members there). And, the email domain that they use is "@elekta.com" and not "@elektacareers.com." Also, they confirmed that a name "Alix" has been reported numerous times. And, their investigation team is currently seeking out new info about this. Hence, I sent an email to them about me having contact with this Alix Patino.

I hope this will be resolved soon because they have my social security number, full name, and address through the form of W-4 and I-9. Please help. I am just trying to have an employment, but I was being scammed by this Alix Patino.

After doing all I have an intention to check whats all about and just COPY the mail ID TO BROWSER and I found it as a scam and also saw lot of objection against that lady or whoever be.

Now I am putting this complain so that I am not aware aboit what kind of things written in offer letter that I acknowledged without reading and I have attached my Driver licence of both copy including a selfie holding my licence, though they didnt ask for any money.

Please consider this as a complaints and help.me further so that I am not in a trouble in near future or any time as my photo ID copy is with the acammer with a letter or offer as I acknowledged but dont know a single words what is written on that sets of offwr containing at least 10-15 pages.

I got a text from someone by the name of Tommy Seth saying they received my resume for the Data Entry Clerk remote role and to chat via Microsoft Teams. I did and did give my name, email, and home address before thinking something wasn't right about the whole thing. Feel dumb but better to have caught it now.

I applied for a job online via LinkedIn. The name of the company was Ferroamp AB. I was contacted via text message and started the interview via Telegram with a woman called Jenni Nordlund. After all the interview process I was hired. A hiring package was sent to my email from Jenni Nordlund email [email protected]. I did a search over the internet and the offer looks legist. I sign all the paperwork, like the company code of conduct, job offer letter, W-4, and I-9. The hiring manager Jenni kept in contact with me via Telegram and informed me that my start day was 9/25/2023 and that a package would be arriving at my house, providing the UPS tracking number. She requested to let her know when the package arrived for further instructions. When the package arrived was an envelope with a check from First United Bank from 1400 W Main, Durant, OK 74701. Was in the amount of $4,982.44, and not in the Ferroamp company (hiring me) name, but with only a signature saying, Marco Bode and account numbers on the bottom of the check. A big red flag was raised. I contacted Jenni Nordlund back and she instructed me to check and send her the proof for further instructions. I directly went to the police department and they provided this site to report the identity theft.
