Good day!

The person allegedly performing as "Alix Patino" emailed me regarding my supposed employment as an "Administrative Assistant" at Elekta. The email they use is "[email protected]" and "hr.elektacareers.com." I have been trying to request their contact details but they are not giving them to me.

1) They sent me forms such as welcome documents, offer of employment, and "next steps" from Elekta.

2) They also sent me a W-4 and I-9, which included my social security number, address, and full name. I am afraid that they may use that to their advantage.

3) They tried to send me a check through mail, but FedEx has it on hold because FedEx stated that the account number being used is inactive.

4) They sent me an eCheck, I tried to deposit it online but it did not push through because the bank found out that it was a job scam. This resulted in my account being closed. I cannot open a checking or savings account anymore with that bank. My bank asked if I could have the actual phone number of this Alix Patino to verify the check, but she is not replying to that specific inquiry whenever I ask her.

Right now, they are contacting me through "Flock," a communication platform such as Slack, which is apparently Elekta's platform for communication.

I spoke to the actual representative from Elekta using the Atlana, GA number from their website and they said they do not use that (sending checks, using the "Flock" application as communication - which there are almost 50+ members there). And, the email domain that they use is "@elekta.com" and not "@elektacareers.com." Also, they confirmed that a name "Alix" has been reported numerous times. And, their investigation team is currently seeking out new info about this. Hence, I sent an email to them about me having contact with this Alix Patino.

I hope this will be resolved soon because they have my social security number, full name, and address through the form of W-4 and I-9. Please help. I am just trying to have an employment, but I was being scammed by this Alix Patino.

I was under the impression of getting a remote job from home going through a hiring on boarding stage. I have received several phone calls from three different person's. Also saved all Email correspondence from said persons. I will copy and past the main email.

After doing all I have an intention to check whats all about and just COPY the mail ID TO BROWSER and I found it as a scam and also saw lot of objection against that lady or whoever be.

Now I am putting this complain so that I am not aware aboit what kind of things written in offer letter that I acknowledged without reading and I have attached my Driver licence of both copy including a selfie holding my licence, though they didnt ask for any money.

Please consider this as a complaints and help.me further so that I am not in a trouble in near future or any time as my photo ID copy is with the acammer with a letter or offer as I acknowledged but dont know a single words what is written on that sets of offwr containing at least 10-15 pages.

I got a text from someone by the name of Tommy Seth saying they received my resume for the Data Entry Clerk remote role and to chat via Microsoft Teams. I did and did give my name, email, and home address before thinking something wasn't right about the whole thing. Feel dumb but better to have caught it now.

I was offerd a mobile position, work offer letter, conducted skype and google form interview. Send e check, asked for zelle and gift cards using money they sent me. My bank took too long to intervene

I applied for a job online via LinkedIn. The name of the company was Ferroamp AB. I was contacted via text message and started the interview via Telegram with a woman called Jenni Nordlund. After all the interview process I was hired. A hiring package was sent to my email from Jenni Nordlund email [email protected]. I did a search over the internet and the offer looks legist. I sign all the paperwork, like the company code of conduct, job offer letter, W-4, and I-9. The hiring manager Jenni kept in contact with me via Telegram and informed me that my start day was 9/25/2023 and that a package would be arriving at my house, providing the UPS tracking number. She requested to let her know when the package arrived for further instructions. When the package arrived was an envelope with a check from First United Bank from 1400 W Main, Durant, OK 74701. Was in the amount of $4,982.44, and not in the Ferroamp company (hiring me) name, but with only a signature saying, Marco Bode and account numbers on the bottom of the check. A big red flag was raised. I contacted Jenni Nordlund back and she instructed me to check and send her the proof for further instructions. I directly went to the police department and they provided this site to report the identity theft.

Sent me a series of text messages about receiving equipment and an accountant will process a check for me. They have my Name, place of work, address, phonenumber, Email address. Screenshot attached of text messages.

I was contacted by an individual named ****** ********* about a Flight Coordinator position. It seemed off because she called it an "information meeting" and that didn't sit well with me, so I googled her name and yep - she came up as affiliated with a "travel agency" MLM under at least two other business names. 1. NEVER pay money for "training", and in the aviation world fluff credentials are. worthless. full. stop. do. not. pass. go. 2. the ignorance here is astounding. I should have kept the meeting and watched her try to convince someone with an FAA license and a BS in Aeronautics to give her money for a phony "travel agent certification". Sheeeesh.

I received a text regarding a data entry position. Went through the interview process exactly as the other person. Everything is the same verbatim except the names the person who texted me was Kristen Newson and the person who interviewed me was a Mr. Greta Reinbold

I had recently put my resume on some websites to look for a remote data entry job. I received a email message 8/23/23 from someone named Cindy Mill stating that my resume credentials had been approved at Enpro Industries Company. She asked me to get on the app called Skype to have an interview through app there with a Nathan Roger, head of hiring recruiters dept at Enpro Industries Company. I had the interview with Mr. Rogers on 8/28/23. He commented that I was approved and offered a position. He said they were going to send me a check to buy some computer software and office equipment to set up my home office to use a website they work with regularly. The only info I gave them of my personal was the name of my bank (zero info about my accounts there), and my home address, phone number. H said they would be emailing me with paperwork that needs to be filled out for taxes and an offer letter. I was to receive the check via email print it out and mobile deposit it. I was to screen shot mt deposit receipt (that does show the last 4 numbers of my account). He immediately requested I forward him $400.00 of the available for process the equipment purchases. I express my concern about forwarding any fund until the check was processed and cleared. I looked up Enpro Industries website, they are a very large firm with offices all over the world and over 4,000 employees. Red flags started to show such none of the email correspondence were Enpro as expected, instead Gmail or AOL. The check was issued from a Cristina Watson, Decatur, AL and not from Enpro Industries. The employment offer was fill with typos, not expected from a company of this size. I contacted Enpro Industries corporate office and spoke with HR department, who immediately identified this as fraud, that was previously reported. They told me to report it to the government. I also contacted my bank, note the check has posted and the funds are listed as available, however the check is still pending. I will not use these funds and if the check clear I will return the funds, should the check reach approval.

I am looking for a job and received an email titled "Applicant Resume Has Been Assessed For Hire!!". the rest of the email reads.....below. I did the Zoom interview, never speaking to a live person. Received a second email with the job details and listed benefits. Started sounding too good to be true, and looks like it is. They "approved me for hire and I am supposed to start training on Monday. This is where I believe they will try to scam you. They said they will pay you to purchase all the equipment you need to set up your work from home office. I believe they will request the banking information at this time. Unfortunately, I have given them my name, phone #, address and name of my bank so far, but nothing else.
